Sorry if I'm commenting where I shouldn't, but I'm kind of not fond of it because there's already a lot to explore with Tyrande, and instead they're tossing something new onto her. She's Elune's avatar, she doesn't need to have Night Warrior added as a title to her, and it alone won't make her relevant in the long run anyway.

RIGHT!? like tyrande has shown a vengeful side to her before and adding a night warrior phase is just unnecessary. and the last part, honestly feels real cuz im convinced blizzard just has. no idea what to do with her anymore. its the vibe ive received ever since wow became a thing i think 

i mean i havent caught up on most bfa lore but i recall shandris being involved in a campaign follower mission... that alone is just screwed up like shes an adoptive daughter to tyrande and they should be hanging out and avenging the loss of kalimdor fkdjfc 

also tyrande was the general of the sentinel army, isnt that already night warrior enough for her njkfdf??

To be fair, dogs like this freaked Saburo out a lot, but he’d learned to keep a straight face when it came to dealing with these canines with…how they looked. But at the other’s greeting, his eyes would widen in awe and wonder as he’d freeze in his tracks. She was speaking to someone like HIM? What’d he do to deserve this? Nervousness would strike this weakness, and Saburo will gulp, catching his breath. He just had to act like his older brothers, who didn’t get nervous or shit. 

Who was he kidding, his brothers lost their nerve plenty of times. 

“Well if I were to be truthful, this whole place is foreign to me, it’s all a lot to take in so I’m not completely sure intimidation has set in yet. I may or may not have been….a…l-little scared when I first see these fellas though. They act just like normal dogs though….so I don’t think they’ll start acting like a pack of wolves or anything…”

Too much? Gosh, he was nervous so he kind of lost track of his thoughts there. 

“Normal...”

There was nothing normal about peculiar, squared shaped dogs... Is it truly an animal without a significant part of their organs? Jaw, Brain... eyes? Silver orbs stare downwards as the night elf hums in deep thought. Well the other was certainly intimidated, though not sure if by the dogs or herself. The nerves shaking the boy’s core, Tyrande attempts to console with a soft smile. 

“I understand what you mean, however...”

Pausing for a brief moment to think over their response, Tyrande’s hands hold her knee crossed over the leg. Though they could definitely feel the other’s anxiety, they were almost impressed by how brave he was for admitting his fears. Her downward gaze finally returns to stare at the boy.

“Can you imagine a life without your natural functions? Not being able to eat, sleep, smell and such? It’s more disturbing that it feels like... someone robbed these dogs of their ability to live.”

Tyrande sighs, massaging her forehead. She started the conversation and yet the questions asked were too stressful to bare. Her smile returns as she checks up on how the boy is coping, hoping it would change the subject.

“Nevermind that. I’m surprised someone as young as you is coping with this world. Are you at least adjusting yourself? It is rather difficult for myself too. You aren’t alone.”

(( That reminds me! I’ve been thinking about interactions with mages/wizards/arcanists regarding main canon and just in general w panfandom characters ))

tyrande is a very modest person and isnt rly the type to 1. flaunt and embrace power 2. crave power 3. learn more about the magics of the arcane. 

Mostly cuz... the great shattering, war of the ancients? that was nasty and wouldve soured her opinion. the fel / demonic energy did always tempt mages/masters of the arcane so its well justified. they can definitely see a relation with the power craving of mages and the insecurity of not having the strength to fight or knowledge to understand the world. 

so i imagine she would actually, try to lead aspiring mages down a different path. she knows its not her place to judge but rather advise them of the risks. 

and not to say she distrusts mages, id like to think the highborne mages that returned during the cataclysm she wouldve built a strong relationship with them. they had to most likely prove themselves to stay in darnassus even so to still have her breed hate/distrust seems off to me idk

i remembered how awfully ooc it felt the way tyrande cast off thalryssa. they have every right to distrust magic but tyrande is a better judge of character, i mean thalryssa proved herself big time that shes nothing like azshara and youd think tyrande would know based on the suramar events she would think elisande was a more suitable relation, yeah? she hates azshara not just for being magically addicted but really bragged her royalty/arrogance. when relating to elisande i dont think about the royalty part i think more about disgracing her elven kind for disconnecting with the royal(?) bloodline of the high/nightborne. not sure if that makes sense 

AND LASTLY with the legion defeated, it just makes less sense to have her rant about thalryssa having a crave for power. they stopped the crave? and one of the major guilty parties who manipulated mages is defeated so? idk man?

A perimeter in constant bloom, acting on it’s own without a single disturbance in the area. Tyrande almost believed she was in Elune’s domain, though it was too good to be true since she was transported here. Any reminiscence of her homeland was gratefully appreciated, considering the circumstances of not only losing their home but being ripped from the familiar world. 

She had been walking for a long time period, not that she was ever going to be exhausted but rather wanted to take a break and indulge. Are these valleys not supposed to be populated? While she pondered the thought, there was still a chance that there was more to see. Especially after seeing one man sitting, busy reading a tome. 

Though he appeared rather busy, the isolated stranger looked weary. She attempts to grab his attention, bowing her head. 

“Greetings, Is this seat taken? You appear exhausted...”

(( not entirely sure how i feel about the concept since. idk the lore behind the night warrior eyes but this seems really unsuitable for her? seems more suitable for like, the wardens but not a priest/huntress combo, you get me? maybe even assassins/scouts. i dont personally get why it would be a blessing of elune (am i reading this wrong bc im getting that vibe its from elune) im really digging the redesign in general though omfg. i just wished they could’ve atleast given us the leaves in hair accessory customisation. theyre savage people who treasure nature, u know? ))

FRIENDS: Her entire lifetime she has grown to enjoy the company of foreigners. Often they will seek knowledge and understanding of otherworldly strangers for a new perspective. If you’re polite to her, you’re on a good start. 

ENEMIES: She already has plenty of enemies back home, but any kind of demon who threatens their faith and loved ones is already on her shitlist. Honestly if you’re the kind of heathen who likes tainting things, then you’re probably already enemies. 

MENTOR/FAMILY BONDS: Tyrande never had a close family or kids of her own. At best, she was close with her childhood friends, Illidan and Malfurion, the sisterhood of Elune, the sentinels and her adoptive daughter, Shandris Feathermoon. Not to say she isn’t interested in kids; she loves them! She has lived over 10 000 years and she’s not afraid to share advice or show some love. 

ROMANCE: Unless you’re also a night elf or azerothian, I imagine it will take a while for her to fully feel confident around non-azerothians. No harm feelings though. She’s quite interested in other feminine nb/women who treat her as an equal and can respect their faith in Elune. If you’re looking for an honest, protective yet gentle elf who is so damn tall, she’s the one!

The night elf perks up upon hearing the request, she smiles briefly to acknowledge the other then furrows her brows upon recalling her thoughts. 

“Stay awhile… I have tales after many years of my life. But I feel this may interest you, stranger.” 

“I still have a deep attachment towards my Stormrage brothers however I cannot stand by and let their arguments slide. I cannot truly forgive Illidan for his tampering with demons and yet, I had to free him from the cell his own brother imprisoned him in, for Malfurion was not doing enough against the incoming threat. We all knew what the Burning Legion is capable of, and yet their arrogance and brotherly ordeals took priority? We could’ve done so much more. But what’s done is done… damage was done to my homeland due to his recklessness, and I would take some responsibility for such actions. Malfurion still refuses to acknowledge his brother’s vital role against the Legion, even after sacrificing himself to oversee the dark titan…”

Tyrande sighs, sinking her head in exhaustion after reminiscing the Legion’s defeat. 

“I have done many things that… ended with undesirable results… I simply pray to Elune for forgiveness and grow stronger. Sometimes…you have to trust your instinct, even if it means breaking the laws of your homeland.”

Indulging themselves in Dionysus’ Chalice was the first thing that felt right ever since arriving. Tyrande embraced the air and beverages that were supplied, many which felt exactly like home. Her muscles relaxed upon finishing up the 2nd glass of moonglow, she was the only one by the bartender’s bench except for a woman down the opposite side. The other had a few drinks by her side but her attention was focused somewhere else. Tyrande could only read the stranger’s body language as stress, which she couldn’t help but call out to her.

"Pardon me, you haven’t touched your drinks yet... something on your mind?” 

The priestess leans further into the bench, closing her hands together with a small smile.

Out of all parks she visits, it had to be the park belonging to these ambiguous canines. The visitors so far have had no real reaction towards these dogs. These canines act like any ordinary animal, but Tyrande still could not help feel something isn’t right. Their head turns towards footsteps; a young teen who completely ignores the existence of others. So even young people are unfazed...

Leaning back into the park bench, her head tilts to the side and voice laced with firm curiosity. 

“Greetings child...If I may ask, do these creatures intimidate you?”
