Yes, I rewatched ep 10 because I'm a dumbass so here's a drabble because I still hate the ending.

Hao Ting spent every second he could manage by Xi Gu's side, sitting next to the hospital bed.
Since Hao Ting also insisted on sleeping at the hospital with Xi Gu, there's no stopping him. The tall boy just snuggles to one side and stays perfectly still as to not mess up the tubes and stuff.
Xi Gu finds it endearing. Also, the lack of distance lets them do as many eskimo kisses as they want >:)
Flash forward and Xi Gu is out of the hospital but still in crutches.
"You can't go up the stairs like that, let me carry you."
"What? No, I can manage. Besides, you're carrying all those stuff-"
Hao Ting isn't that beefy for nothing. He carries Xi Gu bridal style back to their room and comes back later for the rest of the stuff lmao
The gang come visit, bringing gifts!
Hao Ting's mom made some herbal soup and had Dad deliver it to their apartment ;D
The father-son duo were awkward, but Dad manage to squeeze out the message he was holding in.
"Nex-next time, make sure you keep an eye on your boyfriend. Making us worried sick like that!"
