Have you ever heard that one song or smelled that one smell that reminded you of that one person and for that moment in time you just want to go back to what it used to be.

When youāre in a relationship, you get so used to it being you and that person. But when or if it ends, you have to remember what it was like being alone. Thatās where I am right now. Remembering what it was like being alone. Part of the time itās alright, but then part of the time you just want to crawl into bed and watch Netflix or cry but at the same time you donāt want to be alone. And itās not like you can talk to your best friend about it because you two broke up. I have to remember what itās like being alone again. Iāll be okay though. Iām a strong person. Itās just hard adjusting to change.
I know my heart will never be the same. But Iām telling myself Iāll be okay.

The saddest part about losing you was that youāre the one that I wanted to talk to about it and Iād rather be crying in your arms rather than alone in my bed.

I donāt now why Iām holding on to you There is nothing to hold on to I use to be scared of losing you I think I still am somehow Like if I let you go then I officially lost you If I just hold on to every little memory Maybe youāll come back But I know you wonāt And thatās even scarier

I hate being unable to engage in a conversation without thinking of you. I see you in everyone; the way people laugh, talk about something they love all reminds me of you.
i hope youāre struggling just as much as i am through the little things (via februaryfears)
someday youāre going to be able to hear and say his name without all the memories flooding back at once and hitting you like a tidal wave

I know itās wrong, but god damn it, Iād change anything about myself to get you to love me back.

And that night, I barely drove home with some music holding me together, took my clothes off and dove in my bed hoping I fall asleep before I fall apart.

I thought anchors, Were supposed to keep you grounded. But I have this sinking feeling, I canāt seem to shake. The ceiling used to seem, So low. My head in the clouds, People passing, Through the streets below. And now my thoughts swim in the gutter, And I canāt help but regret, Every impulsive word, Though I spoke without a stutter. I thought I wanted to be heard, But itās the silence, You prefer. So Iāll keep my voice down low, Feeding now, With the birds. Iāll take every crumb I can get, And Iāll leave you as you were. Before I ever tripped up, Among your tracks, Tied to each and every word. I should have seen the train behind me, I should have ran. But you stunned me, Now here I am.
