I'm a little behind but I've got some fill in the blanks @seasonaltoyprompts to bring back!!

Day 3, "sun protection" - she may not be seasonally dressed, but Harmony's big hat sure covers the sun!

Day 4, "desserts" - an MGA twofer here. It was a tough choice between Secret Crush Sundae Swirl and the Haribo themed LOL Tween Holly Happy! That Secret Crush doll was a *monster* to open back in the day and it's not a surprise to me that they just didn't last.

Day 5, "bright" - digging into the archives some to bring out the teen-age fashion model herself, Barbie! This is my mother's vintage #2 Barbie and is my absolute treasure.

Day 6, "vacation" - another one I had to ponder until I remembered this WDW 25th anniversary Barbie! This was not my childhood doll, but rather one I picked up in commemoration. My first visit to the parks was in fact for the 25th anniversary (shout-out to the cake castle) and my first visit with my husband was for the WDW 50th :)

Day 7, "long days" I am STILL PONDERING, I'll get back to that one.

This brings us to today! Day 8, "pride"! As I've mentioned elsewhere on my blog, I don't tend to "ship" any of my dolls. I thought about taking some pictures of G3 Frankie and Cleo, but thought some of my vintage MLP were truly the most 🌈 rainbowy and thought they deserved the spotlight! The purple one is Windy and the blue one is Moonstone :)

Lil Elyse is wearing her picnic finest, a summer fruit feast, while spending time with her friends-not-food lobster friend! I've gone into the history of Lil Elyse on this blog already, I think - but for the benefit of everyone, she is my childhood AG customized to be actually like me. With a silver eye, of course.

School around here doesn't let out until late June. This sweetie has been in her school uniform for so long and she's rip roaring and ready to take the summer off!

This doll is one I picked up at Daiso, surprisingly! She's got two other siblings, a brunette and a blonde. They're not the highest quality doll I've ever owned, but for a true budget line they had a great selection of fashions and just the sweetest faces.

@look-back-month-challenge day 28, "floral"

What better way to end the month than with some of my moddie AG girls in floral dresses? The Addy is a rewig project from years back (I have another rewigged silver eye Addy with braids behind her, but she's not floral) and the #4 was another treasured FB Marketplace pickup.

I've had a blast this month exploring my collection and sharing it! When I'm back from vacation @rosiewalks and I are going to be brainstorming some additional ones, so stay tuned!

@look-back-month-challenge day 27: "exciting"

Acid Candy Akemi is the first Pullip I ever bought. She was a pre-order that took so long to come in I thought I'd almost gotten scammed. (Turns out I'm just not used to that long of a pre-order window. This is one of many reasons why I love and respect y'all BJD owners, you are made of tougher stuff than I.)

Akemi's color scheme in this version is so extremely me - with the bright neons, silver studs, tall boots and eyeball motif - the whole process of obtaining my first Pullip was so exciting, she had to be my choice for today. 💗

Cop out for silly - what's sillier than a jester? Courtly Jester, that is!

@look-back-month-challenge day 25: "tiny"

Saving the tiniest for today, day 25 is the Dream Ella Minis Aria! MGA released Dream Ella as a kind of direct competitor to Barbie and it flopped hard. They just couldn't capture what made Barbie *Barbie* but these tiny dolls were better than any of the 11" ones.

As MGA is wont to do, her hair was a gluey mess and it took me forever to get it to a passable state. But boy is she a cutie!

For "glass" I went with some glass-like girlies, Gail Lexi and Cici Thru from Novi Stars! They were both later Mercari purchases for me, but I love the concept of the different skins they can wear. I can see how they may have been easily lost, though.

@look-back-month-challenge day 23: "pattern"

Day 23 is "pattern" and the first thing I thought of were all the patterns on Weird Barbie's dress! I loved the Barbie movie and it meant a lot to me, especially Weird Barbie and her story.

@look-back-month-challenge day 22, "style"

Day 22 is "style" so I wanted to choose a doll that I restyled myself! I bought Demi as a nude doll on the cheap, and as I've said, I really like restyling Rainbow/Shadow High dolls. I loved her base doll so much - her eyeshadow is very Siouxsie and the Banshees, and her long dark talons are reminiscent of how I keep my own nails - and since RH/SH used to come with so many extra pieces, they just felt natural to change up.

Demi is wearing Heather's dress, one of Ainsley's blouses, I can't remember whose boots, and some third party stockings I'd originally bought for a Blythe.

Chuu CHUU!!!

I had a hard time deciding if I should go with "Chuu-chuu storms the castle" or "Chuu-chuu vs Klingon high command". I think the composition of this one is a bit better.

LBM '26: 21 "Monochrome"

I mixed up yesterday's prompt and today's, so here's Nyx for "monochrome". I turned the tails of Glitch's coat into pants! I like this much better, because then you can actually see all the cool sequins and embroidery.

Day 21 is "lovely" and to me that is my dear Sally Slater! Sally is my only Disney collector doll, and that's because she's representing my favorite parks attraction, the Haunted Mansion 👻

I really love the detail on this doll - the stitching on her skirt, the embroidery on her blouse, the folds of her crinoline, the fact that the box itself stretches like the stretching portrait she comes from. She decidedly fits the theme to me 💗
