An aquarium date? Not on our watch!!
What if Huntrix and the Saja Boys all spied on Rumi and Jinu’s aquarium date ?
Notes from the author : I just wanted to make a cute fan art since I’ve seen the art concept for the movie, and now i can’t get this idea out of my head and i need to write it down.
TW: there could be rude and/or vulgar language.
It was late at night, after a long day of practice, Rumi just got out of the shower and was about to drink her tea, when she spotted a familiar ball of blue fur with a three eyed bird on his head at the foot of her bed.
‘‘ Hey there you two. What are you to doing here ? She asked them, giving the tiger little scratches behind his ear. Is it an other invitation from Jinu ?’’
The tiger leans into her touch, purring softly. Before starring at her and dropping a card from his mouth at her feet. But instead of the usual ‘Hello friend’ card she normally gets from Jinu, this time, it had a picture a fish, with a tiny hat.
That’s a new one. She thought to herself.
She opened the card and saw the name of the Aquarium of Seoul, and a single note :
‘ Want to meet me there ? Yes or No. Please circle your answer’
‘‘Is he...asking me out on a date ?! she exclaimed out loud. And ‘circle your answer’ ? What is he like 10 ?!’’
Before she could continue on her rant, she hears a knock on her door.
‘‘ -Rumi ? Are you okay in there ? It was Mira. I heard shouting.
- Hum…. Yeah ! I’m alright..I’m just….reading some fan fiction.
-...Okay, well I’m going to bed and Zoey is watching Business Proposal, if you want to join her.
-That’s alright , I’ll just finish my tea and I'm going to bed. Good night Mira.
As she hears the footsteps fades away, Rumi starts relaxing again, letting out a breath she didn’t knew she held. She takes her seat next to the Tiger, with her tea mug still in hand. Before she could get lost in thoughts, she feels his head laying on her lap. Purring and looking at her exactingly.
‘‘This is the second time Mira almost caught you in my room. Can you imagine what she would say if she saw you ?’’ She sighed petting the tiger.
Looking at the card, she doesn’t know what to do. She admits the offer is tempting. She hasn’t been to the aquarium for a long time, but to got there with Jinu ? As a date ?! Why would he ask that ?? Then again, the last time they met, he thought it was a date, and still went willingly. But does he still want that? Or is it just an other business meeting? On top of that, it’s going to be in a public space! Where people can see them. Why? This is a big risk. What if the tabloids spots them? So close to the Idols awards.
You know what? Fuck it!! She grabs a pen near by and circles her answer before giving the card back to the Tiger.
Sitting by himself in the demon world, Jinu is feeling anxious. He hasn’t felt that way since he was human 400 years ago. He’s waiting for his tiger to show up.
He finally does, and he doesn’t come back empty handed.
Jinu pick up the card in his mouth, and grins when he sees Rumi’s response.
