Hello, everyone! I'm Em. I'm a freshman in college studying chemistry, film studies, and studio art. I'm starting a series on here where I review TV and movies...when I get some free time, lol. I'm in so many fandoms that it's pointless to list them...my top genres seem to by sci-fi/supernatural/fantasy, sitcoms/comedies, and anything with a good soundtrack.

Fun Facts About Me: My birthday is Halloween, I'm scared of mannequins (its a smell thing...don't ask...or do!), and my favorite sandwich is tomato, mayonnaise, peanut butter, salt and pepper. Trust me, its good.

Do you ever think about how Country Mac is portrayed as everything that Mac has ever wanted to be, like he's a badass, he's cool, he rides motorcycles and can fight, and he's proudly gay. He can do all the things that Mac always thought he had to do in order to be a real man, AND he's living the lifestyle that Mac represses in himself. He worked it out. He's confident and comfortable in his own skin. He's not shoving it down and praying it away. That must have been eating Mac alive inside even more than the badass stuff.

But then he fucking died. In a freak accident. Like an act of God. Mac saw a man who was everything he wanted to be, who openly admits to the sin that Mac has been wrestling with for his entire life, inspiring so much envy inside him, and then he watched that guy be struck down in a freak accident. Imagine what he must have been thinking and feeling about his own queerness in the months after that...

it was established that mac really enjoys musical theatre and then they never brought it up ever again. can we circle back to that please

BBC Merlin is insane as a show. Its an adaptation of Arthurian mythos. It's inspired by CW's Smallville (this is 100% real look it up). it stars 4 unknown 20 somethings and British acting legends. It's aimed at kids and families. its a tragedy. Its campy as hell. It will make you cry. It asks you, like Merlin, to believe in the Golden age of Camelot. It never shows you that Golden age. Everyone in the show is the most beautiful person you'll ever see. people will clown on the CGI. Its one of the most homerotic shows of the 2000's. Its an on purpose allegory for queerphobia, but those allegorious queer characters are largely villains. If you watched it when you were 12 you will never quite be able to let it go. This is a curse. This is an experience you wouldn't give up for the world.

Mac and Dennis Tear Their ACLs could be about a lot of things. but I'm choosing to believe that it starts out with them both showing up to the pub in knee braces, refusing to explain how they both got the same injury at the same time or providing a vague non answer, and then the rest of the gang try to figure out what happened. finally it's revealed that they were banging. or better yet, they think they've come to the shocking conclusion that they were banging but they were actually doing something even more romantic. and far more incriminating and embarrassing. like taking a couples pilates class. or they were on a date at the aquarium and Dennis fell into the penguin enclosure so Mac jumped in after him. Idfk.

and I know I'm crazy, but I get to be crazy and happy for the next few months. so looking forward to that!

the morning after the house party, dee regrets her stylistic decision to wear that skimpy backless top for the jock as the morning philly breeze was the first thing she could feel waking up. charlie lent dee his army jacket to help her get some warmth as they walk back to the bar.

finding out that they both got asked to prom, they grin to each other with tousled hair and the scent of last night’s alcohol in their breaths reminding them they just spent the night hanging with some teenagers half their ages, attempting to relive, or rather, redo their high school years, and fit in for once.

this is the brief, rare occasion that their shared degeneracies made them closer together.

UGHH how the hell did i let this scene go past me from the first watch!!!!!!!!!!
