He doesn't actively crave sex, but can still experience arousal under the right conditions (in his case the list of conditions is all just Christine's name in different fonts LOL) (jokes aside it's got more to do with reaching a certain level of romantic attachment, which for him is also extremely rare to form in the first place)
Something funny about being grey ace (speaking from experience) is that, when you spend such long periods of time not having to really deal with random bouts of arousal the way allosexuals would experience, when they DO actually hit you they do so at FULL FORCE and for sometimes absolutely incomprehensible reasons
So yes, it would in fact result in the need for him to take care of it in some way unless it's REALLY unfortunate timing and impossible to work around situations (example: public events/places he can't withdraw from easily), if only to get it out of the way as soon as possible, because it really is objectively inconvenient :'D

the funniest part about this tbh is that his (relatively rare) spontaneous boners happen almost never for any objectively sexy reasons - she could be doing literally anything from eating fast food to just chilling on the couch in an oversized shirt with her hair up in a sloppy bun and he'll find himself cursed with a wicked hard on out of nowhere
