And once again one of them asks me. “But you’re managing right?” And once again I smile. 

As if I have any other choice?  As if I haven’t gotten pretty damn good at surviving

As if managing life should be near impossible with this pain

I’ve done it before and I will do it again

I let this life lead me. And I can’t deny that I would rather throw chairs against walls or slam fists against anything that will make me bleed. But I don’t.
