I cannot stop talking about It’s Nice To Have A Friend and I don’t ever want to stop talking about it!!! It is such a good fucking song about what it means to have a friend during different stages of your life and how comforting that is!!! and in the last verse she marries her best friend who has her back everyday !!!! on a serious note, archer just hits differently. it feels like all those nights you cry yourself to sleep, all those nights you ask yourself why are you yourself and all of those nights you spend listing all your flaws, put into a incredibly soft, hearbreaking melody and haunting words embed with depth that leave your heart aching. her voice is like a warm blanket that you wrap yourself into on those nights, it's is what gives you comfort and what makes you feel like you are not alone. it is one of taylor's most beautiful songs, lyrically and melodically, and most important, emotionally.
