¿Qué vas a hacer en vacaciones largas?

En esta situación de covid 19, es muy difícil de viajar o incluso planear para vacaciones largas. En Japón hay “Golden Week (Semana de oro)” que es vacaciones largas desde finales de abril hasta principios de mayo. Quería viajar este año pero parece difícil. Por eso iba a biblioteca este fin de semana y pedí prestados muchos libros de viajes en la biblioteca. No puedo viajar a lugares, así que decidí viajar en mi corazón.

Watching Shopaholic Louis

I have to agree that I’m K-drama addict. I finish all my housework and watch one episode of Shopaholic luis everyday. I’m really in to Shopaholic Louis. All characters of this drama are very adorable! Especially Louis and Bok Sil :) I love the love comedy drama without evil people. I don’t want to bring my anger to the drama. Now I’m on episode 11. Mostly around episode 10 is most fun part. Feeling I already miss this drama ;D

Hecho Shiokouji

Hecho Shiokouji esta noche. Es un condimento japonés que está hecho de levadura, sal y agua. Compré levadura seca, puse agua y sal y amasé con la mano por tres minutos. Puedo comer shiokouji desde una semana. Hasta entonces necesito mezclarlo una vez al día. Quiero usar shiokouji para suavizar las carnes y hacer encurtidos. Estoy deseando que llegue :)

Weekly Routine

Do you have weekly to do list, not for the work, for your own?  I started working full-time in this April. 5 work days are passing by very fast fo me. It’s already Friday! I’m scared that the time have filed so fast since I started working. So I decided to make a weekly to do list and manage with trello. Here are my routines! I pick one everyday to complete and finish all of them in a week. Wish me luck :)  - Studying Spanish - Studying English - Studying Ruby and Rails - Studying Design - Investing - Taking time for thinking about my future

Secret time

I believe everyone does have a secret time during a day. Secret time, here I mean, is a time getting absorbed in a hobby without getting noticed by anybody. 

My secret time starts at 18:00, right after the work. I open black cover gently, place musical score. I get immersed in playing piano for 30 minutes to an hour.  My parents come back home around 19:00, so I finished the practicing the piano and start boiling water for preparing for our dinner about 15 minutes before they arrive at home.

Trabajo desde casa.

Me levanto a las 8:30 y preparo el desayuno. Como natto y arroz con amaranto. Luego, preparo Café exprés con la maquina italiana. Me gusta poner leche en el café. Mi trabajo empieza a las 9 en punto. Por la mañana, reviso y organizo mi tareas y trabajo intensamente. Tomo la pausa para el almuerzo a las 13 por una hora. Durante el descanso, corro 2 km, tocar el piano o como en café. Hoy veo netflix 🎬 Termino mi trabajo a las seis. Después del trabajo, practico tocar el piano, luego me preparo para la cena y espero a que vuelva mi familia.

Donated my hair

I had my hair cut last Saturday. For the first time in my life, I decided to donate my hair. I didn’t like having much hair volume but I love my hair color which is like mild coffee a lot. I knew there’s a people struggling with the hair loses.  Lately I started feeling my hair could help people. There are several organizations of hair donation in Japan. Depending on the organization, there are many regulations for the donation, the minimum centimeters of donation, hair color (black or dark brown) and so on. Most of them accept more than 30 centimeters. I chose the organization which accepts less than 30 cm of hair and donated 25 cm of my hair. The process was very easy, I went to a hair salon to make sure my hair cut properly, then brought back them to the house, and pack the hair in an envelope without wrapping the hair. I posted on the same day. Now it's Monday and it had arrived. Successfully done my donation! I wish my hair brings someone a smile.

Picked Bay Leaves at The Back of My House.

At the back of my house, bay leaves are growing. Bay leaves are indigenous to countries bordering the Mediterranean. And they suit the weather at my place somehow. So they grow so fast. My father pruned them, then I picked the healthy leaves from them, boiled them in water, and now I’m drying them on the newspaper. I usually use bay leaves for Japanese curry to enrich the flavor.

Ayer hubo un trueno terrible.  Una conexión a television fue mala. Hoy estaba soleado y muy tranquilo. Así que corrí 2 km pausa para almorzar de mi trabajo.

I try to keep exercise for 30 mins every day and burn 300 kcal.

I bought an apple watch. A fitness app was installed default on the device. It can measure how long I did an exercise, how many hours I stood up at least a once and more importantly how many kcal i burned today. When you achieve your own goals, depending on how you achieve you would earn the badges. I’m trying to earn “perfect month badge” now. This can be earned by achieving move goals (calories burned)  every single day in a month. I’ll give it a shot!

Le llegará mi certificado de graduación.

Me gradué de universidad en este marzo obteniendo el número 1 de la promoción. yay!  Recibí un recuerdo para la graduación por correo. Eran bolígrafo, tarjetero y una página del periódico ;) la ceremonia de graduación de mi universidad fue en línea. Tenía muchas ganas de asistir😢

Why do we choose our clothes?

In my country, I hear those often .. -  If you don’t want get attacked, don’t show your skin.  -  If you didn’t cover it, thats’ your fault. -  People who show their skin a lot try to attract males. -  Those clothes are for dating! This and that look cute/cool for male/female. -  Your outfit doesn’t suit this place. 

I sometimes feel those words means we ( are  allowed to ) choose to wear own clothes for other people. But is it really true?? There is a trend going on in Japan with “Personal color consultation”. It’s a consultation for the choose of fashion and cosmetics which suits the person judging by hair color, skin tone. It can categorize into 4 types: yellow-based spring, blue-based summer, yellow-based autumn and blue-based winter.  My hair and eyes are brown and my skin is bit tanned, so I’m “yellow-based autumn”. People who are yellow-based doesn’t suit dark (black/blue) clothes.  Even after knowing I doesn’t suit black/blue, I still want to wear them. I love wearing them.  This reminds me that we don’t choose what to wear by thinking how other people would think the outfits or if those fit us.  The passion of fashion comes from our heart.

Hello, I’m Chihiro. I just have decided to start writing my short diary in English or Spanish. I’m Japanese grown up in Japan and lived in Malaysia, United states and Finland for short time. Nice to meet you for those who read this! 

Hola soy Chihiro, decidí empezar a escribir mi breve diario en inglés o español. Soy japonés, crecí en Japón y viví en Malasia, Estados Unidos y Finlandia por poco tiempo. Encantado de conocerte para los que leen esto ;)
