In Defense of Michael Gambon

It seems that there is one “Harry Potter” actor in particular who gets an extraordinary amount of flack for his portrayal in the series. I am talking, of course, about Michael Gambon, the substitute Dumbledore that just can’t seem to please the majority of Potter fans. Is the strong stance against him really justified?

I actually love Michael Gambon in the role of Dumbledore. The character had to go to some darker/mysterious places in the later films and I think Gambon captured that really well. Dumbledore is a complex wizard and isn't always warm and welcoming like he is in the first two books/films.
