friends over the years

before i truly part, i’d like to take a moment to thank some people. these people i’ve found over my years as oliver and really made a difference in my interactions. they’re great role-players and even better people!

@smoakiism​ Mandy... gosh, where do i start? Your Felicity is my Felicity. I’ve loved rping with you since the beginning. I remember when I was worried to make Oliver and then Deli introduced us. Then we got swept into a whirlpool of emotions and plots. I’m so grateful for the time we got even if most of it was angst filled threads. We wrote some really great threads and came up with so many fun plots. I always enjoyed sharing our thoughts on episodes and talking about ol.icity. I’m so glad I took the chance on Oliver to meet you. I even remember the time you, me, and Deli were linked to satan. I loved matching things with you, and hope to again one day. And if you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to ask!

@alwaysxlate​ / @spacehce​ Deli! wow you might’ve been one of the first people I talked to / discovered on Oliver. You still remain such a wonderful Barry and Hal. I love hearing your headcanons and following you. I always see the passion you put into your muses. I know we don’t write much anymore, but it was a blast when we did. I felt I could really have fun exploring brotp Barry/Oliver or be comfy doing a more comic frenemy based plot. You also introduced me to others and I can’t thank you enough for that?? I hope to stay in touch with you in the future!

@onelastxtime Dawn thank you for being around whenever I return! You’re always such a pleasure to talk to. I had to say, when I first started out, I wasn’t very much into Laurel x Oliver in the show. But, you made me really like our versions together. Your Laurel had a dynamic that I found was missing from the show. I also loved shipping our comic versions too! You are always so up to plot new things and I felt comfortable coming to you for interactions. It’s awesome how you’re tackling so much work irl yet still make time to talk and rp here. Keep being an amazing Laurel/Dinah!

@heartfrosted Lanie! When I came back I’d worried you’d forgotten me, but it was so nice to hear from you again. You really bring your all to Caitlin and it shines through. You’re so dedicated to writing her both cw and comic. It’s such a joy to bounce ideas off you as well. We probably spent more time plotting things, but I’m so glad we met. Oliver really did enjoy your Caitlin and I hope we can write out our super cool verse. 

@sanguinehope Oh my Nessie! It’s funny how we first talked on my Mon-El and ended up on my Oliver. We started out joking about SuperArrow and it being more a brotp. Then we shipped it to the moon and back <3 You really helped me make that an otp for cw Oliver. I was honored to be Kara’s first male ship too! I’m so grateful for the love you gave Oliver and myself. We have an epic verse, and plots we will write because I could never leave that? Thank you for being there when I need to talk and understanding the time I need. I love getting to watch episodes and talking with you about them after. Your Kara is kick ass, never forget it!

so i’m really sad writing this... it pains me. but, im not happy as oliver right now. i’ve tried so hard to make myself better about it. however, this time around it’s hitting hard. i have this constant sadness when i logon. so, the appropriate step would be to step back. i need some time away, to really just think about my life, my health, and what’s best for me. there’s something i need to work through and figure out where i fit in indie rp.

i just got a part time job, i want to maintain my grades, and have a healthier body + mind. so with that means i have to give and take my time online. i did hide away a lot online and i think it’s time i step away from tumblr for a little and really find myself in the real world. 

i love you guys. many of you have helped me through my thoughts that i can’t thank enough. i’m so so grateful for the friendships i’ve made here. i will never forget you guys. really i don’t think i can. you guys are gems! and i hope we still talk ooc cause i’ll miss ya. 

to those who still follow me, i hope everyone can understand why i need to take this hiatus. if you’d like, i have my discord i check regularly so we can keep in touch ( i may move some rping to there tbh ) and i may pop in here to talk as well. this isn’t goodbye forever ! i feel i’ll be back soon because i love oliver. he’s been a joy to explore. as has getting to know you guys. xo

⌈ ➵ ⌋  —  FINGERS WRAP AROUND  A LARGE PLASTIC CUP.  a brown paper bag hanging from from the same hand. he unlocks the door to his apartment with little effort. as if right as expected , a noise sounds with a breach. of course ,  he didn’t think she’d use a door. quickly , he places the food down on his counter as he sees the familiar blond step through the portal.     ❛      i wasn’t sure you’d know where to breach. i figured it would be SAFER if you came here than popping up on the street , somewhere. i got big belly burger -- figured you might want a bite to eat.      ❜     he got enough for three people to eat , unsure just how much she might want. granted , he never would eat much fast food. most likely the grease.

Christmas Gift

It took me awhile to think of what to get you so I just started painting and this is what came about. I paint with my heart and I hope you know that this is what I see us as. A forest, beautiful and expansive with so much to explore and so much to adore. There is no beginning or end, because there is no beginning or end of our love.

And I couldn’t help but get you a few coasters for any coffee you might drink. I couldn’t help it, arrows are your thing after all. But the meaning is true no matter what.

Oliver opened the envelope with careful fingers. A smile painted his face seeing it was from Kara already. He took his time to read the letter and seeing the presents in the larger box. He rarely talked about the island, as she wouldn’t know his time spent trapped within forests. However, he felt the love in her gift. Maybe this could be a new meaning of trees for the archer. A way to turn something positive. And how he could see the hand painted design made his smile grow. He chuckled seeing the second gift. How fitting.
