I think people’s main problems with iron lung are based on precedents set by other, way different movies that didn’t have the same atmosphere. it’s supposed to feel a little slow. you’re supposed to feel uncomfortably cramped. like you have limited breaths but have no clue how many. like you’ll be stuck in a box alone forever.

and if you’re not alone, where would you hide? where would IT hide? how long until you’re forced to find out?
