Scouting, stupidity, call it what you want it. He called it stupid. It wasn’t his fault, that’s why he was here. Having an intern or even anyone under him would help. Instead, “Fuck,” he muttered brushing twigs out of his hair. So much for the jacket he had on, that had been scuffed in the process. He just looked like he’d broke free and was running through the woods. Dirt on his face, shoes muddied and covered with leaves. He gave a sheepish smile at the person looking at him. “Nature is dangerous, don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise.” All for work. They’d better reimburse him.
audra was on her way home from a theater, where she had a rehearsal when she suddenly saw a man selling small cute puppies. audra was definitely a dog person so she stopped and lifted up one furry brown puppy. “oh my god, you are so cute!” a delightful smile immediately appeared on her face. turning to a person next to her, she spoke. “look! she is cute, right? don’t you think that it could be a perfect christmas present?”
emi had no reason to be passing time around puppies, even if they were cute, but it was either that or get where he was headed hours too early. plus who in their right minds didn’t stop or at least even glance at the sight of puppies. he dug his hands into his pockets, fighting the urge to pick one up himself when the person next to him spoke. “she is adorable and you’d get to give her a nice home.” it didn’t hurt to encourage someone else to adopt. “would it be a present for you or someone else?”
[jesse metcalfe, heterosexual, he/him, male] who was that walking around manhattan? it was EMILIO JEANNIN. they’re THIRTY EIGHT , and originally come from NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA. they’re known as THE HELPING HAND, and they are a PHOTOGRAPHER. when i hear their name, i think of NICE SHADES OF GREENS, BODIES OF WATER, AND NATURAL SUNLIGHT. i hear they’re SUPPORTIVE AND RESOURCEFUL, but i wouldn’t mess with them, because people say they’re STUBBORN AND AVOIDANT, too. {sarah, 23, cst, she/her/hers}

HISTORY
Emi is the child of two doctors, the grandchild of a doctor, and the nephew of many doctors, lawyers, and engineers. It was only expected from the moment he was born.
He is an only child, who in his opinion lived alone. In reality, he was an only child, but he was raised by his live-in nanny. He occasionally saw his parents, though for most of his life he was asleep by the time they came back home or they'd already left before he had breakfast.
Emilio didn't attempt to make his parents happy, in fact he often did the opposite, sometimes on purpose, other times he just ended up in bad situations.
He spent summers attending some future doctors. Minutes into the first one, he knew medicine wasn't for him.. Blood? Makes him faint. Vomit? Makes him nauseous. Anything deeper than a surface cut? Well you’re just trying to kill him.
He attended school at UCLA where he majored in political science with a minor in business. Law was the last thing he figured would fit the family memo, he dropped his engineering classes half way through the first semester.
Law was at least tolerable. 4 years of undergrad later, an LSAT and law school, a couple years interning at a law firm, and even practicing. Well into his work he realized it wasn't what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, so he quit.
On a trip to Texas, Emi’s friend asked himt o second shoot one of his photoshoots. Emi had done a little photography during high school, he knew how to work a camera basically but had never done anything serious.
He loved the feeling of being creative, getting to dictate even if it was only a little as he wasn't the main person. Emilio began to look more into photography, attending a few classes, widening his community, helping second shoot more people until he became more comfortable with his own skills.
Once he started to solo shoot, he began by doing weddings, then expanded into doing magazine shoots. Now, he's glad he finally figured out his life.
He moved to New York to help one of his friends once they had opened their studio, being one of the on staff photographers and then started shooting for an agency exclusively.
Now, he’s worked for magazines, for big celebrity events, now he specialized in any and most fashion photography, though he prefers editorial at times. He also appreciates street fashion photography during fashion week.
