At least Emilia was trying to do better, although Etta wasn’t fooled. Her scowl deepened and she huffed, squirming around on the bed. “And how exactly am I supposed to do that? When I can’t even talk to him?” With a soft groan, her scowl faded and Etta lurched to her feet. Nerves always made her restless, and she paced around the room. “I know I’m just going to keep getting tongue-tied around him and it’ll be so embarrassing, and there are so many girls here who are so much smarter than me. He won’t even notice me.”
Emilia watched as her sister paced, holding back from trying to make her stand still. The pacing only seemed to make the blonde more nervous then she actually needed to be. “Maybe you’ll have a class together! Or even just the same course and so you two can study together.” She shrugged, trying to suggest something to Etta that would hopefully be helpful. “Anyway he already knows you so you have a leg up on those ‘other girls’-” She said with air quotes. “And I’m sure the more you see him, the easier it will be to talk to him!”
