vivienne madeline alette renaldi devereaux, princess of genovia
hey y’all! here’s some about my girl!
- Vivienne is the younger daughter of Queen Amelia and King Nicholas
- She was adopted as a young girl. The royal couple had been discussing a second child, and with Queen Amelia’s charity work at the orphanage, it seemed to only make sense to adopt.
- She doesn’t know the full story of her biological family, and this is something that causes her a lot of stress, but she doesn’t like talking about it.
- Vivienne is double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Acting.
- She was fairly sheltered as a child, her parents wanted to keep her away from any naysayers who may try to refute her title or claims due to her adoption.
- She’s 18, a freshman, and a smol sheltered bean who’s truly on her own for the first time ever.
Let’s welcome [ Caoimhe Máire Siofra Aisling ] who is part of the [ Sophomore ] class this year. Isn’t it freaky how much they look like [ Georgie Henley ] ?! Well, this [ Good Samaritan ] is majoring in [ English ]. People say they are [ +Caring] and [ +Kindhearted ] but can be [ - Secretive ] and [ -Impulsive ]. They are [ Cis-female ] and would love it if you used [ She/hers ] as their pronouns. This student is actually the [ 19 ] year old [ Daughter ] of the [ King ] of [ Hinterland ]… Things are about to get interesting in St. Amelie !!
Aesthetics: big scarves, plaid skirts, oxfords, warm cardigans, easy laughter, soft hands, quiet footsteps, wanting to change the world, stacks of completely filled journals, waiting for the exact right phrase
History:
*parental death trigger warning
Caoimhe, as the younger princess of Hinterland, felt like she really had the ideal childhood. She had all the privileges of the crown but without the immense pressure she knew, even as a little girl, that her sister faced. Caoimhe was free to be wild and impulsive and creative and whimsical within reason, of course. Her parents encouraged that side of her while still teaching her skills that would be helpful in the future, as she faced marriage to someone of equal rank and the responsibilities that came with that. However, her mother’s death when she was eleven changed everything. Caoimhe was sent away to Genovia with her sister.
Although the changes didn’t happen overnight, they did happen. As Caoimhe followed the political situation and realized what was going on, a strong sense of responsibility filled her. She wanted to help her country. She wanted to make a difference. She wanted to be queen. Never enough to cause a rift or upset her sister - and somehow Caoimhe knew that Linnet wouldn’t give up the title even though she didn’t want it - but it was always there, in the back of her mind. If she were queen, she could do so much good; she would have such a platform and ability to make lasting changes. So she began studying the things that Linnet was taught by their parents, learning how to rule and reign and read contracts and think about the long-term, wide-reaching consequences of decisions. It didn’t come naturally but that made learning it all the more satisfying, and now all Caoimhe can do is wait and hope.
Personality:
+ Caring & Kindhearted: Although her memories of her mother aren’t strong, what she does remember has always been the strongest factor influencing Caoimhe’s decisions. She remembers her mothers limitless supply of kindness and has always tried to emulate that trait. Caoimhe goes to great lengths to help those in need, most often by taking her own time and helping in any way she can.
- Secretive & Impulsive: Caoimhe wants to change the world but she’s impatient and wants to do it now. Though she recognizes the danger that she puts herself in, she still frequently sneaks off campus to do volunteer work at the local children’s hospital and she has not told anyone of what she does.
Extracurriculars: School newspaper, photography
Connection Ideas:
Someone who also volunteers or works at the children’s hospital

History:
Di spent the first year of her life in a less than secure flat in London, under the less than steady supervision of two people who weren’t at all equipped to raise a child. But when she was just over a year old, she was removed from the situation and placed into a foster home, where she lived until she was three, when Genevieve and Michael Wakefield met her and knew she was meant to be their child. Di, along with several adopted siblings, was given a very different life from the one that was waiting for her; though her new family wasn’t wealthy, they were financially secure and she had everything she needed.
After earning a degree, Di found work as an accountant and was happy, though not particularly fulfilled. She took to making jewelry on the side, a hobby that soon turned out to be far more lucrative than she expected, and after several years of ever-increasing popularity on Etsy and Instagram, she received the chance of a lifetime: the opportunity to design a necklace as a birthday gift for Vivienne, crown princess of Genovia. Di took the job without hesitation and earned a place in the spotlight for herself; her creation made her a household name, as did the simplified and less expensive version of the necklace she made available for the every day consumer. With her business booming, Di made the decision to return to school and earn a business degree so that she would be better prepared for her new life.
When she moved, she brought along her four year old son, Evander Orion Wakefield. He was born after a short-lived romance with a visiting consultant at work, who came in and left without enough time to really build a relationship with Di. It suits her just fine; she adores Evander and does everything she can to keep him healthy and happy, although she considers contacting his father with ever increasing regularity.
Personality:
+ Scrupulous & Enterprising: Di has always been a very driven person. In her primary school days, she always won any fundraiser that required selling things because she was determined to get as many people to purchase her items as possible. She never took any setback lying down and always looked at failure as a chance to grow. Any time an opportunity presented itself, Di grabbed it with both hands and pushed herself for further growth.
- Demanding & Officious: Since she knows exactly what she wants from life - both on her end and from those she encounters - Di has a tendency to be blunt and often harsh in her demands. She expects the best and settles for nothing less, even when it reflects negatively on. Bossy was a word often used to describe her when she was younger and it’s still accurate today.
Extracurriculars: N/A
Connection Ideas:

Let’s welcome [ Hanne Synnove Kristina Yvonne ] who is part of the [ Senior ] class this year. Isn’t it freaky how much they look like [ Alycia Debnam-Carey ] ?! Well, this [ Bleeding heart ] is majoring in [ Humanities ]. People say they are [ + Sweet ] and [ +Loyal ] but can be [ - Emotional ] and [ -Anxious ]. They are [ Cis-female ] and would love it if you used [ She/hers ] as their pronouns. This student is actually the [ 25 ] year old [ Daughter ] of the [ King and Queen ] of [ Dagstorp ]… Things are about to get interesting in St. Amelie !!
Aesthetics: sheath dresses in jewel tones, delicate jewelry, ink-stained fingers, modern calligraphy, pages of neat notes from class, soft but clear words, harp music in the background
History:
Hanne is the middle child and oldest daughter of the former king and queen of Dagstorp. She grew up with only the best, but her parents worked hard to instill a sense of duty to the world in her and ensure that she wasn’t spoiled. As Hanne grew up, she became known for her tender heart - she was frequently mentioned in the newspapers for crying at one event or another, but nearly always for a good reason. She wanted to make the world a better place and help those in need, which her parents turned into the desire to serve and aid as she grew older. When she was 18, she was sent to St. Amelie in Genovia, with the intention of not only earning a degree but also looking for a suitable person to marry - someone who would be a good partner but also bring something to the marriage that would be beneficial for Dagstorp. While in school, Hanne met Nimuel and while it wasn’t love by any means, it was friendship. That friendship led to an engagement two years later.
However, Hanne’s peaceful life was thrown into turmoil when she was twenty-three and their country underwent a governmental overthrow. Although Hanne was separated from it all and didn’t really understand why it happened, she knew the end result: the path she’d been following for so many years was suddenly gone. Her entire life had been altered and she responded by keeping as much the same as possible. Her studies were the same, of course, and her living situation. But when she went to Nimuel and asked - begged - him to honor their engagement. There was a chance that the government would be restored and her title retained. But Nimuel turned her down. He had valid reasons but that didn’t make it any easier to hear. It wasn’t a total loss, however, as Nimuel’s twin sister Chesa did something completely unexpected and stepped in, offering to take the engagement instead. Hanne was too stunned to do anything but agree. She was acquainted with Chesa but not well, and for the next two years, they functioned in a limbo. It’s been difficult but Hanne has been doing her best, trying to keep a positive outlook and not let on how scared she is.
Personality:
+ Sweet & Loyal: If anything could be said about Hanne, it’s that she is sweet. From the time she was a little girl, she wanted to make things better and easier for everyone around. She was frequently noted for crying over things like children in orphanages or animal shelters that needed more funding - she is a bleeding heart and always has been. She’s also loyal; Hanne is a bit withdrawn but once she’s given her trust and friendship to someone, it’s difficult to lose it.
- Emotional & Anxious: Although she frequently cites her empathy and sensitivity as positive traits, they have caused their fair share of trouble as well. She has difficulty maintaining her emotions and has walked away from conversations or out of class because she couldn’t handle the emotional weight of the discussion. She’s also anxious by nature, particularly now as they’re waiting to see what happens in their future. Hanne has spent her entire life preparing for one path in life and she doesn’t know who she’ll be without that.
Let’s welcome [Gilbert Theodore Davison ] who is part of the [Freshman] class this year. Isn’t it freaky how much they look like [Noah Centineo] ?! Well, this [Jovial] is majoring in [Music - Violin Performance]. People say they are [ +Charming ] and [ +Responsible ] but can be [ -Flippant] and a [ -Workaholic ]. They are [ Cis male ] and would love it if you used [ He/his ] as their pronouns. ☓ This student is a [ 19 ] year old commoner from [America ]… Things are about to get interesting in St. Amelie !!
Aesthetic: well worn jeans, red Converse, violin music, succulents on the windowsill, messy handwriting, late nights studying,
History:
Diana Davison was still in college when she got pregnant and her current boyfriend decided the responsibility was too much for him. Although it was unexpected, Diana made the choice to keep her baby and raise him on her own. Her parents did not approve and made it clear that if she did that, she’d be on her own, but she remained firm in her decision. She had a loyal group of friends to help her and with their support, she was able to rent an apartment and find a job that would provide for her and her baby, and settled in to her new life. Gilbert Theodore was born in due time, and raised with his aunties to help and his mom, who never complained about anything and always did her best to provide. She went back to school when Gil was in second grade, and when she graduated, she found a better job at a bank. They never had a lot of extra money, but Gil had everything he needed.
When he graduated high school, Gil took a year off to save money - he earned a scholarship to ASU, but it didn’t cover everything and he wanted to have some savings of his own to lean on. During his year off, he worked in the kitchen at a nursing home and made friends with one of the residents. After Philip’s death, he left a fund for Gil to use for his schooling. And unknown to Gil, Diana heard of the opening of St. Amelie and knew it would be an excellent opportunity for Gil, so she submitted his name for a scholarship there - and he received it. With a scholarship that covered his tuition, and the money from Philip to cover books and other necessities, Gil set off for Genovia in the fall.
Personality:
+ Charming & Responsible: Gil is a gentleman; he likes being polite and friendly and always has a smile for everyone. It was due in a large part to his upbringing: with a single mom and a lot of female influences in his life, he learned from them and has always tried to be respectful to everyone he meets.
- Flippant & a Workaholic: Growing up and watching his mom struggle to make ends meet led Gil to a strong work ethic but also a lot of worry and concern about money. He tends to work as hard as possible and save as much as he can so that he and his family don’t have to worry about money again in the future. His tendency toward friendliness and joviality also leads him to seem careless and flippant at times.

History(to be updated more later):
Alice grew up in a middle-class household in America. Her parents were immigrants, making her a first-generation American. While they would have preferred for her to become a lawyer, doctor or corporate executive, but they’re happy she got into such a prestigious school and is majoring in something practical. Ever since she was younger she’s wanted to go into law enforcement. becoming a safety in elementary school, taking up any position that involved enforcing rules. She thought about going straight to the police academy after graduating from High school, but after her parents insistence she decided to study Criminology.
St. Amelie was a school she never imagined having a chance with. She knew that her parents certainly couldn’t afford it, and financial aid only helps so much. Thankfully she was able to receive enough scholarship money to be able to attend. It was going to add extra stress though, as she would have to keep up her grades even more than what was already expected. Alice was the kind of girl to take it as a challenge though, already ensuring that she has a tutor to help her. Even though she’s currently studying Criminology and hopes to pursue law enforcement, she also is interested in a career with the military.

Bio ‣
The Desmarais family boasts a long and impressive military history. A history which Charlie never meant to end. By all means, Charlie meant to follow in the footsteps of his forefathers, a top performer in military academy after military academy, a rising star in the ranks of the Genovian Air Force, it took Charlie years to realize that a career in the military felt familiar, comfortable even, but wrong somehow. How easily he could imagine the rest of his life, each rise in rank a boon to the family legacy, the pride shining on his father’s face brighter than that of any medal he could ever earn. And how tiresome it would be. After an extensive rugby injury sent Charlie on extended medical leave, he had the chance to explore options outside of the military and found that for the first time, he was able to breathe just a bit easier. Putting his skill in engineering into creative practice, Charlie began to explore the world of architecture and found a passion for a profession he never dreamed of pursuing, until now.

History
Nicole’s mother was an interesting woman to say the least. Undeniably brilliant, just also interesting. The woman had more ex-husbands than you could count on one hand. Some she filed divorce papers too, others filed them to her. There was always a power struggle, a conflict in personality, they didn’t like her children, it was almost always something. Except for the one time it wasn’t. Around the time when Nicole was five, her mother married a man she deeply fell in love with. Which wasn’t saying too much since she fell in love quite often, but everyone could tell something was different. He’d been willing to be a father to her two kids, help raise them in a way neither of their actual fathers had. He cared and supported their mother, even though she made much more money than him. Easily a ‘trophy husband’, though he also had dreams and aspirations. Such things that would never fully be reached due to him being taken from all of them around a year later.
Nicole’s biological father was a very different story. He’d been married to her mother long enough to conceive a child, but divorced before she was even born. He hadn’t been a nice man. Rather a gold-digging and abusive one. When his daughter was born he attempted for full custody. Hoping that her busy schedule and fast rotations of husbands would help him hold a case in court. In the end he lost custody, though had some visitation rights. Child support had been turned down, seeing how she certainly didn’t need it. He was... Nice to Nicole though. Always sent birthday and Christmas presents. Took her out somewhere fun during the rare visit and invited her to all the important events for her half-siblings from him. Though she already had an older brother, so she didn’t feel a need to be particularly close to them. Still the girl made sure she stayed in touch, helped them out when they asked. It wasn’t much of a relationship, but it was something and she didn’t want much more.
Growing up Nikki was a smart kid. Though that was to be expected considering who her family was. She had access to the best education money had to offer. Like most kids she enjoyed playing, goofing off a bit and hanging out with her friends and family. It really wasn’t until middle school when she realized that she really didn’t have to try to get good grades. Something people swore would change once she got to high school, until it didn’t. Sophomore year of high school was when she began to apply herself. It was also when her counselor suggested that she skip a grade. Doing the extra work was easy, and she found herself actually enjoying doing the work. Certain subjects stuck out to her more, math and science in particular. A fact that pleased her mother, especially when Nikki showed interest in cars. From a young age she’d accompanied her mother to work, most of which she found boring. That was until her mother actually allowed her to see the interesting stuff once she was old enough. It was amazing how cars worked, how flying cars worked. How it all came together and just made sense. The only downfall of being so inspired by it, was wondering what she could do next. How to properly succeed her mother and do better than her.
