He smiled, watching her speak and nodding. “Looking like what? A goddess? Always,” he winked, leaning against the counter. “Get your stuff. Let’s go! I know this chill Italian place a block from here if you don’t mind walking. It’s nice out today, thankfully.” He loved the smell of her bakery whenever he came in. It always seemed like she was working on some huge order that smelled incredible.
“How’s Molly doing by the way? Is she feeling better?” he asked, looking over at her while he waited for her to grab her things. Once they were all ready, he stood up and walked with her out the door, opening it for her. As they got out onto the street, he placed his hands in his pockets, his full attention on her. She was so pretty and she didn’t even realize it. As if yoga pants could diminish that.
“Since we booked the wedding last month, I have been go go go, but im so not complaining.” She said as she grabbed her stuff. Hearing his comment, she laughed a bit and fixed the bun she had in her hair. “You’re sweet, thank you. And Italian sounds amazing.” Locking up, she turned to him as she put her jacket on. “Shes doing good! Zooming around and terrorizing Hudson again so I know shes over the bad part of her cold.” Molly’s favorite thing was running that poor boy ragged. “How have you been? Hopefully work has been quiet.”
