Howdy! I'm Klaue/Rat, sometimes we draw, sometimes we write :P
Self-proclaimed #1 King Candy enthusiast and Cy-bug expert (I've been here since 2012 I think I've more than deserved those titles.👿) Other than Wreck-It Ralph, I also have a special interest for rats and insects.
Wondering why sometimes there's little random emojis on our posts/reblogs? That's because each rapresents a diff headmate interacting with a post or simply just reblogging it as something that fits what they enjoy or their interests!
He/they(plural) pronouns please. We use tonetags! I'd be thankful if you could use them when talking to me ^^
All-time special interests: Wreck-It Ralph, Alice in Wonderland, rats, insects, I Have No Mouth and I must Scream, OCs, dinosaurs, horror genre, MLP
Other 'strong' fixations: Star Wars; Tau (2018); Phantom of The Paradise; 2010: The Year We Make Contact; Electric Dreams (1984); Portal 2; Harley Sawyer (I dislike Poppy Platime as a game but I really enjoy some of the characters); Inscryption; The Adventures of Professor Egghead creepypasta series; Happy Tree Friends; Baldur's Gate 3; Vincent Price; werewolves; Van Helsing 2004
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)
It took me a cartoonish amount of time to draw individual chibified refs for my selected characters and when I go to update their refs... the site is down 💔 but alas
HAPPY ART-FIGHTING EVERYONE!!! May the silliest clown or mysterious masked figure or scene theater kid win!!!!!!!!
Come friend me!!! (When the site is back up) and throw some art-piece-shaped tomatoes at the clown (me)
I'm prioritizing commissions first & other stuff in my personal life so I might not be able to attack a lot of whom I've got bookmarked or retaliate against many attacks, but I'm gonna try my best!!! Other than that I will establish one more rule for myself: my art will be BAD. As bad or chaotic as I can make it to fit with the clown theme. I don't have anything in particular planned, but I'm going to make mistakes, and I will not try to perfect it. 🗣
Deadass this is how it feels trying to come up with more headcanons/creature design ideas to draw Al since I'm literally working from scratch here except for a singular practical-effects toothy maw that closes around the Friday The 13th re-make James is doing at the end of the kill count.
(From the Deadmeat "to the numbers" bit in VHS Beyond)
- He goes by simply Al when disguised as his interviewer persona. (Which may or many not be a subtle reference to the actual voice actor, Alan Lee)
- Extremely picky with his food (both actual edible human food and youtube views video-quality), doesn't like new changes to the same old formula he enjoys. (For example if his favourite drink brand started promoting it's "new and improved" formula he would blow a gasket over it and go to hell and back just to get a can of the old formula drink that he feels like drinking right now)
- He's extremely ravenous and a messy, indecorous eater. He loves to eat pretty much anything (so long as it caters to his likings)
- he CAN eat real human food, it's not just views and human attention span; because on youtube there's whole sections dedicated to food (food reviews, cooking, mukbangs...) it'd make sense that Al develops a taste for human food which would make him want to travel to our dimension just to try it out.
Speaking of which: Al works similiarly to a Lovecraftian cosmic horror in terms of being an entity beyond comprehension that would defy our physics, but he's a little more complex. He is a man-made horror, it's not just some distant otherwordly creature that became aware of our existence, he's the result of nearly 5.1 billion people's eyes, ears, mouths and overall energy all dumped into one place, mixed with our modern tech: it created something alive.
- You could say he started out as an "Artificial Intelligence" but by now he has grown to be so much more, something more organic even because again- he's not limited to the digital amymore. His existence is spontaneous and his appearence is mainly formless, but he CAN shape it to his liking (much like your very own youtube feed/reccomendations depending on what you like/watch the most).
- His 'core' essense that keeps him alive is overall the internet (the phone screen you're using right now to view this content. The attention you give it, that's what keeps him alive), but his preferred place to 'exist' in is the platform Youtube due to how vast it is and how many users & creators it has. And once he became strong enough he can bleed into the physical world and shape his own form, so to speak.
- The way he does it is similiar to The Long One in the movie Slither when brainwashed hosts fuse their body mass to the "main" alien host Grant Grant, or the Talk Tuah entity in this Meatcanyon animation.
- He begins subtly entering your mind, finding ways to keep you attached to your phone (algorithm suggestions) and once he has you under his thumb, he fully gets into your mind and from that point on he can alter and affect your bodily autonomy (body horror galore essentially); once he gathers enough viewers under the same spot, he forces them all to melt and fuse together (making their bodies come apart at will until its just this giant slushy of red, skin and teeth) and now he is officially in the physical world! This grotesque, mutated mass of bodies can be reshaped into something vaguely human of his choice so he can blend in.
- Or not! And just be a blob of meat that sits in one place (preferrably a Youtube headquarters building) and brainwashes more viewers to come to him and feed him.
- His motives are... questionable, you could say. Really he's fueled by his own greed to consume more and more, but he's not completely unreasonable... as long as he's satisfied and full he can be quite laid back and friendly.
(What motivates this last headcanon is his final quote at the end of the To The Numbers sketch where, after eating James' video, he says "He's good people" in reference to what the Deadmeat crew always says when bidding their cheery goodbyes to their viewers at the end of the video.)
are you going to come back to your RP blog @/viciouslyfilthy? If not, it's okay, but I miss you and I hope you are doing ok despite everything going on rn <3
Hi anon!!! I do want to 😭 trust me, I truly do, I've just been all over the place with other personal projects and IRL shenanigans.
On viciouslyfilthy I want to finish properly setting up sheet pages for my main OCs on there (and maybe some canon characters that diverge from their canon source that's ongoing like Maxwell from DST)
I am NOT gone just on a really long hiatus bc there's a lotta muses on there and that overwhelms me & wait until I'm at a more stable point in life atm.
