Emily was stunned. ‘Welp, I am not getting out if this one so easily….wonder how much over time will have to make up for this….’ she thought gloomly to herself. Erston was for sure going to kill her. She was the one who put the deposit diwn though, he just crashed here when he didnt want to go to the inn. Right? She wasnt sure anymore all she knew was they had to clean somehow.

“Come on, lets get to work…” she turned the stove off so no further disasters could happen. Looks like they were going out for dinner tonight.

“Huh. I thought for sure that would work!“ Leia said with a confused look on her face. “Oh well!!” Before Emily could blink, Leia had dashed into the bathroom and out in a maid outfit. (that she conveniently brought with her??) She grabbed a mop and a bucket. She also attached some scrubbing brushes to her feet. “Okay, now I know this idea will work!” She began skating around the kitchen while cleaning. She had the best ideas. Or, at least she thought she did.

Emily wasnt sure what to say. Where did she keep that? And why did she keep it? She shook her head and got to cleaning.

"Hopefully this won't take too lomg. But after we are done, how about we just go out to eat instead? My treat." The woman made the offer as she kept cleaning the kitchen.

Its really hard to remind yourself some days that yoi are wanted and loved. When someone doesnt get back to you because they are busy and genuinely doing other things, your brain, or demons as many refer to them as, can start to convince you otherwise. It's hard to realize that these are false until the fog lifts away. On those nights, you want to curl up into a ball and cry yourself to sleep. Those nights are when you need the hugs from far away or close by the most. It is a struggle. Anxiety and depression like to mingle with one another. But remember, you are loved, you are wanted. Don't abandon those who love you. Don't push away those who want to see you thrive. Keep them close and pinch yourself to remember that they all have lives. They still care. They are just doing other things at the moment.

Emily stood where shr was taking in the sights and sounds. Things were so much different now that she was off the streets. But still, she was waiting for a friend.

‘Wonder where he is. Thank goodness I can handle myself but its more fun with friends.’ She thought to herself. It was at that moment when she looked up to she her friend Ludger sprinting towards her. She smiled as he apologized.

“It’s alright Luds. I haven’t been waiting long. I would have been late myself had I not been woken up.” She confessed with a grin.

“Oh…Really?” The bi-toned young man gave a bashful rub of his neck with an awkward smile. At least he hadn’t kept her waiting. He knew something of that nature would be something that, if his brother found out, would definitely lead to relentless teasing and lectured on his behalf about ‘keeping a lady waiting’ and ‘poor gentlemanly form’. Though, of course, they would be all in good taste.

He brought down his hand from his neck, giving Emily a thoughtful expression. “What were we looking for today? I grew up in Trigleph, so I’d be happy to direct you to the best shops.”

Emily smiled at the Kresnik. Finest shops eh? Thay wasn't her though. She purposefully left Erston out of shopping due to not wanting to hit those places.

"I don't believe I will find a good everyday outfit at the finer shops. I just need a dress really thay is versatile for whatever it is that will be thrown at me in the future. Maybe a dress with a lower neckline or possibly just one I can eventually put a sword into so it’s always there.” She hesitated after she said that not knowing if Ludger would understand what she means by it. Her cheeks turned red from embarrassment, she forgot how bad she could ramble some days. She then gave him a sheepish look.

”So anyway...” she tried to turn the conversation back  on where to go shopping, “where would you suggest then?”

Despite their situation, Elize giggled. “It’s very nice to meet you, Emily.”

“You know, I was on my way to Nia Kera, too. I was supposed to meet up with a friend to pick up a package. I live in Sharilton, and sometimes I’ll run errands for Driselle.” Her eyes flicked to the storm outside. “If this storm ever goes away we can travel to Nia Kera together.”

“Yeah! The more the merrier,” Teepo chimed in, sounding slightly waterlogged.

“Really now? It’s funny, I’m picking up something for my friend Erston. He says I’ll know it when I get there.” She thought about it for a moment. It was a rather vague instruction he gave her. ‘I was going to go to Sharilton on my few days off. I haven’t been back in Rieze Maxia for over a year.” She was then startled by the new voice.

“What was that?!” She wondered as she looked around and saw nothing obvious to her. She could be rather dense at times.

Elize subdued a chuckle. “Sorry, I should have introduced him earlier.”

“Yes, you should have!” Teepo sounded hurt. “My name’s Teepo! Nice to meetcha!” He flew forward and circled around Emily. 

Elize looked curiously at Emily. “Erston? As in Erston Outway?” This couldn’t be a coincidence. She reached back and started to pull her now-damp hair back into its pigtails. “I wonder if our errands are related,” she muttered to herself.

Emily calmed down as Elize introduced Teepo. He was harmless it seemed. She smiled at him and let out a soft giggle as he circled her.

“Hi Teepo, it is a pleasure to meet you.” It was then that Elize asked if she meant Erston Outway. A grim expression showed on Emily’s face due him ruining her mini vacation.

“Yup, one in the same. He has helped me out a lot. He took me in off the streets of Triglpeh before some people could snatch me up.” Emily showed a small smile as she remembered. She still remembered how he scared the two men off. She then heard Elize wonder if their errands were related. Emily wasn’t too sure, but would not have been surprised if they were.

“So once this storm clears up, let’s travel to Nia Kerra together. I was told it’s a straight shot but I’m directional challenged” Emily confessed as she went back to Elize’s offer to travel together. That sounded a lot better than traveling alone.
