Im DONE

I realize i have been very terrible with keeping this up. Its literally the last thing I want to do. But to say the last month and a half has been a whirlwind would be a complete understatement. Since dad died, I have been whisked in 5 different directions. The fall job pool is just about closed. The january job pool is closing, but now the march job pool is opening. it is so BIZAARE. I feel like I’m jumping off a stone just as it’s about to fall to a new unstable stone. I’m taking a lot of risk, but I hope the reward is worth it in the end.

I finished formatting my dissertation today. I will go over some small edits next weekend, but it is 217 pages. a BEAST. I remember thinking about it when I first came in and how intimidating it was. I can’t believe I finished it, I’m so proud of myself but yet I feel like an imposter still. There is so much I want to learn but feel like I’m only scratching the surface.

I defend in two weeks so I need to get working on the slideshow for tomorrow. That’s crazy to think about. I don’t even know what I need to put in that sucker!! good lord. I know I want to start with an attention grabber, but I need to look up some items on what I need to do.

I wanted to go skiing in Montana after I’m done, but I need to wait a little bit longer to solidify some items before I start jetsetting off in wild directions.

This is the most stressful time in my life. but i am okay.
