sorry to break it to you but using your traumas and mental illnesses as an excuse to be a shitty garbage person to others is just pathetic and crappy

one of the worst feelings ever is being in your own house and feeling like you need to go home
happiness comes in waves, it’ll find you again.
*doesn’t show affection* oh no, I’m making things awkward!!
*shows affection* oh no, I’m making things awkward!!
*doesn’t show affection* oh no, I’m being distant and cold!!

if you neglect a garden, plants will be overgrown, weeds will take over and it will be slowly become a mess. but if you wanted to start anew, you can. the weeds can be dug up, new flowers can be planted. patience and daily care will help it grow into a beautiful garden. it’s the same for yourself. if you want to change your habits and make steps to heal, it’s already a big step. it means you care about yourself, and caring is the first step to making a garden beautiful again.
your life can look so different, so much better, in just a few months. keep going.
It gets a little bit easier once you realize you can accomplish things at your own pace and that’s okay
gentle reminder
you are allowed to be a priority
