The Green Shower. Maybe I should call it the #metoo shower. There’s never enough soap to wash away where I can still feel unwanted touch. The water will never be hot enough to make it feel clean. It certainly can’t wash the memory away. It can’t take away the aftermath of friends choosing sides, believing one and not the other’s story. Saying things like “These kinds of things happen when people drink.” Because that makes of all better right? These kinds of things happen.
