emmeline was born in the rainy woods of the pacific northwest however she never got around to seeing much of it as it wasn’t long until her family moved across the country to coston. her parents had hopes of starting their own restaurant and saw the potential within the small town on a visit one summer. 

growing up, business was manageable but by no means thriving until her sophomore year of high school when a wealthy visiting family took interest in the business and worked with emmeline’s parents to help the place get the recognition it deserved. after that, it was all uphill. the restaurant started to thrive and it wasn’t long until emmeline’s family moved out of the cut and into figure eight. 

for a while after moving, emmeline immersed herself within the world of the kooks. she was desperate to fit in and found it much easier than she would have imagined. she liked the nice clothes and the amenities that came with her new life. of course, she missed her friends but she also liked her new friends.

once the newness wore off, emmeline found herself stuck between the two worlds. she wants to maintain the friendships she had growing up with her friends from the cut but she knows things aren’t the same anymore and cant help but get the feeling that they look at her differently now. she hopes that with the truce she can find a happy medium between the two but she doesn’t know if that’s possible. 

after graduating high school, emmeline moved back to the west coast for college. while she loves the time that she’s spent back in washington, she misses coston and she’s very happy to be back home for the summer.

emmeline is a plant girl. she loves them and has far too many in her home. 

emmeline is also probably lowkey a vsco girl. she definitely has the water bottle and the app and she is not afraid to admit it. 

her wardrobe consists of outfits centered around her vast collection of skirts. she honestly isn’t sure when the last time she wore actual pants that weren’t of the pajama variety. if she’s leaving her house, she’s leaving in a skirt.

Every encounter would be the same, with flirtatious texts escalating into a passionate hookup. Channing was wise enough to know the score by now but still the hurt and bitterness broke back through him once his pleasured bliss had subsided. His gaze followed the other around the room as they collected their clothes, watching their every move like a hawk to see if they were leaving out of reluctant necessity or shameful regret. 

“Is this it for another six weeks?” he asked, the bitterness underlying his tone as he sat up in bed, still nude and his body slick with sweat. “Or do you think you’re gonna acknowledge me beyond a few texts after we fuck this time?” Channing added. “They’re gonna find out eventually, no point pretending we can do this forever, at some point something’s gotta give.”

Sienna pushed herself up off the bed once things had finished, not wasting much time before she begun to carefully gather her things. There wasn’t any shame in her actions, she was simply doing what she felt needed to be done. She too was tired of hiding things. But she knew that going public in any sense would come with its own set of issues and she was not ready for that. 

“You don’t know that,” she replied with a roll of her eyes, glancing over at him briefly. “You know why we can’t tell anyone. It just isn’t a good idea. Besides - they’re not going to find out unless someone tells them and I don’t plan on doing that. Look- I’m sorry that I’m shit at texting back. I can try and be better if you’d like.”
