Sometimes people try to destroy you, precisely because they recognize your power — not because they don’t see it, but because they see it and they don’t want it to exist.

Power is the ability to define someones reality and have them accept it as if it were their own.

Taking a leap of faith!
During my happiness journey, I'm learning lots about others stories when they took a leap of faith for their own happiness. They didn't care if they failed or succeed. They just had to try to make the attempt to try this one thing and see it through. I've read the stories of millionaires, pop stars and everyday people who made great changes in there life by following there gut feeling... by taking a leap.
Today, I decide to take this leap, and I don't care what happens.
Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.

CAUTION: Birds of a feather flock together ,and so do freaks with the same mix-match colored nail polish
Whoa today was a freaking dosey! I'm really trying to get this assertive thing down, but dammit it's hard to be assertive, when you just want to curse someone the freak out, like DAMN! Am I the only one in this world that holds back comments in fear that I would become cray and curse some body the freak out. I know I'm not.
People be cray. People be cray .
Anyway, here are the resources I'm using to accomplish my happiness goal. I learned today that a job doesn't make you happy, dammit it just gives you money! My goal is to one day create my own profitable business doing something that I love.
Check out these books, whether you're joining my happiness journey or not. Each of these book offers get insight on the topic that it is written about.
1.Assertiveness: How to Stand Up for Yourself and Still Win the Respect of Others by Judy Murphy
2. Become Your Own Matchmaker by Patti Stanger
3. The Secret by Rhonda Bryne
Right now, I'm really into affirmations, each of these books highlight how affirmations can help to change your past perceptions. Also, these books feature chapters that describe self-talk, how we talk to ourselves, and how the way that we communicate with ourselves-- affects how we view and respond to life.
Before embarking on this journey, I thought being sweet and nice was what I was supposed to be, and I've learned that being TOO giving and TOO kind can get YOU all the way walked on .
I used to think negatively of women who stood up for themselves (for some odd reason) because I thought that women and girls were supposed to be sweet and kind. My belief really shaped how I experienced the world, in addition, to how I responded to others' actions.
A great book about self-talk is the Secret. This book is about the law of attraction, but details how self talk influences what we bring to our attention.
Stay tune for more:).
