|| Master List ||
Hey there! Welcome to my Master List. Here, you will find mainly Harry Potter themed fanfiction. I have a never-ending love for our mischievous Marauders, so you will find a lot about them. :)
Each fic will have warnings posted at the top. Please read them carefully. Some fics may contain triggers and explicit content.
You stared up at the ceiling and took in a deep breath. It had been almost three weeks since you had spoken to Sirius. Your stomach churned as your mind flashed back to the day that you caught him flirting with another student.
Well, it was a little more than flirting. His arm was halfway around her waist as he whispered into her ear in one of the back corridors of the castle. You had turned the corner, and there they were. He didnât even know you were there, too preoccupied with whatever little secret he was sharing with her. You hadnât said a word to him since.
Honestly, the heartbreak had been so painful that you no longer joined your mutual friends at meals. Occasionally, Remus would join you at the other side of the long Gryffindor table, otherwise, you dined alone. You knew the others cared about you, and Lily talked to you about the whole ordeal over and over again in your shared dorm. But, you just couldnât bear to look at him, or to hear him laugh, or to see him smile.
The truth was, you were still very much in love with him.
Special thanks to @imjustassaneasyou for picking these prompts from my prompt list! Also, reader gives me major Hufflepuff vibes lol. BTW, I have no idea about any of the rules for Quidditch, but shhh weâre gonna let that slide for the sake of the story ;) P.S After reading your ask, I couldnât resist adding in your little nickname.
46. âYou promised!â âWell, Hitler promised he wouldnât invade Poland but look what happened.â
50. âWhy would you do that?â âFor fun.â âYou almost died!â
âMerlin, itâs always you, isnât it?â you huffed, as Regulus pinched the bridge of his nose.
âWell, itâs not like I planned to get a nosebleed,â he said, as you dragged him to the side of the Entrance Hall and handed him your handkerchief.
âMadam Pomfrey is going to have my head; you only just got out of the Hospital Wing a couple of days ago!â you said, slightly exasperated.
Warnings: mild language, making out, fluff, thatâs about it.
âShe said sheâd be here an hour ago,â Sirius muttered under his breath. He peered over his best friendâs shoulder and stared down at their map, in route to the Slytherin common room for yet another âwell thought outâ prank. Jame glanced over at him, lowering the map.
âWill you shut it already? She bailed, like Remus did a few weeks ago. Maybe sheâs ill or something. And if she doesnât want in on the fun, thatâs her bloody choice.â He let out a deep sigh, then lifted the map back up again.
âBut we canât even see her on the map. We should at least be able to see herââ
âSirius, I know youâre in love with her. But, that doesnât mean you need to know where she is every moment of every day. Weâre on a mission. Thatâs our focus now.â James rolled his eyes at his buddy. âMate, come on.â

You closed your eyes, wishing sleep would take over you. But, it never did. You were lucky to get three hours of horrible, interrupted sleep each night, while you friends around you slept soundly. Most nights, after tossing and turning for a few hours, you usually headed down to the common room.
And, that was your plan for tonight.
You slowly lifted yourself from your bed and headed for the stairs. Once you were in the common room, you plopped yourself down in the middle of the couch, beside the dwindling fire. There was something oddly comforting about that spot. Maybe because it was where you and Sirius shared your first kiss, or where you met most of your dear friends. For now, it was a place for you to attempt to escape your thoughts.
You snapped your head towards the sound of footsteps heading down one of the sets of stairs behind you. Your stomach sank as you spotted familiar black curls.
Sirius.
âOh.â You immediately stood and turned towards the stairs, leading to your dorm.
âY/Nââ Sirius whispered as you hurried past him. âY/N, please talk to me.â
âThereâs nothing to say!â you snapped. You froze in place but couldnât bear to turn around. âI donât have anything to say to you,â you repeated.
âYouâre wrong,â Sirius retorted in a whisper. That was when you finally turned to face the gray gaze you had been avoiding for weeks.
âWhat? You think I have anything else to say to you? I canât think of anything I want from you, Sirius. Just please, give me a reason to fall out of love with you!â You smashed your face into your hands. âI donât want to talk. There is nothing to say. I just want to pain to go away.â
âYouâre wrong, love.â Sirius crossed his arms over his chest. âThere may be nothing for you to say, but I do have something to say. Do you want to hear it?â
You closed your eyes and sucked in a slow, deep breath. âWhat could you possibly have to say to me, Sirius?â You really didnât want to know the answer to that question, but it was too late. The question had been asked, and Sirius wasnât someone to let his words go unheard.
âFirst, I want to say that Iâm sorry.â He locked his gaze on yours. âIâm sorry that what you saw that day hurt you. I never meant to heart you, Y/N. I love you so muchââ
âThen it shouldnât have happened,â you interrupted bluntly. Sirius stared at you for a moment, then sighed.
âAre you going to let me finish?â You glanced to the side, nodding reluctantly.
âI know you thought I was flirting with her, with Claire.â You tensed when he said her name. âI wasnât. Sure, Iâm flirtatious by nature. You know that. Merlin, everyone knows that! But, that doesnât mean that Iâm going to flirt with someone who is happily with someone else.â Your eyes flicked back up.
âWait, what?â
Sirius nodded, taking a step closer. âAt first, I thought you were avoiding me because you were having second thoughts about us being together. I wanted to give you space. I know you do better when you have time to think. But, when Lily told me the real reason you were avoiding me, I wanted to find you and talk everything out. You just kept running from meââ Sirius sucked in a sharp breath, attempting to keep his tear at bay.
âSirius, what do you mean by Claire being with someone else?â Your mind was racing almost as fast as your heart.
âSheâs with Thindrel, Irvine Thindrel. She has been for almost a year,â Sirius muttered.
Your eyes widened in realization. Yes, you remembered that now. But, for some reason you remembered them splitting not long ago.
âSheâs still with him?â Sirius nodded.
âYes, and even if she wasnât, why would I be interested in her when I have you?â Your mind spun quickly. âI love you, Y/N.â
âA misunderstanding. Thatâs all this was? You were never interested in Claire? When why was you hand on her waist?â Sirius chuckled, wiping a tear from his cheek.
âSometimes I get carried away with myself. Itâs something I need to work on.â He reached out, resting his hand on your upper arm. âBut I meant nothing by it, I promise.â
You nodded slowly, taking everything in. âWhy didnât you tell me before? Why didnât you ask why I was upset?â
âLike I said, I know you, Y/N. You need your space when you are upset. I thought you would ask for help or come to me if you needed to.â Sirius pulled you a little closer. âYet another thing I need to work on.â
âSomething we need to work on. I need to be able to voice whatâs wrong too, and not just swallow it up.â You allowed him to take your hand in his. âYou may be reasonably decent at Divination, but you arenât a mind reader.â You chuckled. âI need to remember that.â
âHey,â Sirius whispered, lifting your chin with his finger. âItâs okay. As long as you are okay.â
You nodded slowly. âYeah, I think Iâm okay.â Sirius grinned.
âGood.â His hand moved up to cup your cheek. âI hope I can regain your trust.â You nodded very slowly.
âI think you will once the reality finally settles in. But, for now, you can kiss me?â Siriusâ smile widened at your words. He leaned down, softly pressing his lips to yours, then pulled away.
âMerlin, you have no idea how long Iâve been wanting to do that.â It was like a weight was lifted from you, like a lost piece of your heart was found. You smiled as you wrapped your arms around him.
âAnd thereâs more where that came from, but it will have to wait until tomorrow.â Your eyes suddenly grew heavy as sleep begged to take you. âIâll see you at breakfast.â Sirius landed a soft kiss on your forehead before releasing you from his warm grasp.
âIâll see you at breakfast, love.â Sirius watched as you turned for the stairs and made your way towards your warm bed. You smiled to yourself as you looked forward to a few hours of sleep, and joining your beloved friends for breakfast in the morning.
youâll soon find out some wizarding families are much better than others, potter. you donât want to go making friends with the wrong sort. i can help you there.
