Can you do a oneshot with CG!Yasuhiro Hagkure and Regressor!Sakura Ogami, please?
(Plot idea: Aoi is busy with something but she doesn't want to leave Sakura behind while regressed even though she insisted that she could handle regressing by herself and everyone Aoi can think of is mostly busy with some stuff and the only person who wasn't busy was Yasuhiro, so Aoi asks him to babysit Sakura and the rest of the plot would involve Sakura and Yasuhiro, sorry if it's a bit much you can always not do the plot or make the oneshot at all but if you can I can appreciate it, thank you.)
hi anon!! of course i can :0 i’ve never really written these two before— nor little sakura— so i hope i was able to write it well and that it’s to your liking!! thanks for requesting and i hope you have a lovely day <3
“Thank you so much, Hiro,” Hina said gratefully, standing outside the door of the apartment she shared with Sakura, “Really, this means a lot. I’m sorry to ask you, but everyone else was busy and she regresses really young sometimes and I didn’t want her to be alone and—”
“Hey, calm down,” Hiro raised his hands slowly, the patience in his voice reminding Hina why she trusted him in the first place, “Really, it’s fine. It’s no bother to take care of Sakura at all.”
Hina pursed her lips, sighing and leaning against the door frame.
“Thank you. I promise I’ll be gone for like, two hours, tops!” She promised, “She already had breakfast, so she shouldn’t need a meal while I’m gone, but I have a list of snacks she likes on the table in the kitchen—”
Upon a chuckle from Hiro, her face heated up, realizing she was overexplaining again.
“Okay! Bye, Hiro. I’ll see you soon!” She said, turning and walking down the steps to leave.
“See ya!” Hiro called out, closing the door behind her and glancing at the hallway behind him.
He was pretty sure that Sakura was in her room, which Hina told him was the first one on the right. Walking closer to it, he noticed the door was slightly cracked open. Still, he knocked anyways.
“Hey, kiddo, it’s Hiro. Hina told you I’d be lookin’ after you for a few hours, right?” He said.
When there was no response, he slowly pushed the door open, peering in and noticing Sakura, who was sitting on her bed and looking over at him curiously.
“Good morning,” He smiled at her, before his gaze settled on something in front of her, “Whatcha got there?”
It appeared to be some kind of toy, where you matched shapes to the slots they were supposed to go in and put them into the right container. Sakura didn’t respond to him, but she let out a soft huff of frustration, fiddling with the toy as if she couldn’t figure it out.
Hiro tilted his head. She must be regressed pretty young if she was struggling… no matter, that was fine!
“Can I sit?” He asked, and when she nodded, he sat down on the edge of her bed, “Hmm. This is a little tricky, huh?”
“Uh huh,” She murmured, speaking for the first time.
Hiro placed his hand underneath his chin and eventually pointed to a slot that would match the block she was currently holding.
“You see how that slot has four sides?” He explained, “That would match your block. Try it.”
Sakura furrowed her eyebrows concentratedly, reaching out and gasping in amazement as the block dropped down into the slot.
“Woah,” She gasped, and Hiro laughed.
She picked up a circle next, thinking for a few moments before dropping it in the right slot.
Hiro cheered for her, and she giggled.
They stayed there for a few more moments, Hiro gently nudging her in the right direction when she wasn’t sure. After a short period of time, though, she had completed the puzzle.
“Hey, nice job!” He praised her, “Do you wanna do this again, or do something else?”
Sakura pondered for a moment, fiddling with the sleeve of her shirt before pointing to the window in her room.
Hiro glanced over to see what she was pointing at. It took him a few moments for it to click.
“Do you want to play outside?” He asked for confirmation.
At the excited nodding of her head, Hiro stood up, reaching a hand out to help her stand.
They walked to the front door. Hiro clicked it open, holding the door for Sakura as she walked outside before following her.
He held her hand to steady her as she walked down the stairs of the apartment. He watched as she walked over to a bundle of flowers that had grown by a nearby tree. Sitting down, she began to pick a few, chewing intently on her lower lip and trying to lace them together.
Hiro sat down in front of her.
“Whatcha doing there?” He asked.
She hummed thoughtfully, focused on weaving the flowers together.
Ah. She was making a flower crown. To be honest, Hiro had never learned how to make one of those, even though he’d seen people do them as a kid.
He watched her form the flowers into a crown, occasionally struggling before managing to put them all together.
She placed it on her head, smiling proudly at what she had done.
“Hey, that looks super cool,” Hiro exclaimed.
“‘Ank you,” She said, before pointing at him, “You? Flower?”
“I never really learned how to make flower crowns, kiddo,” He murmured, “But I’d love it if you wanted to teach me.”
Sakura’s eyes lit up, and she immediately started reaching for some more flowers.
“‘Kay!” She responded excitedly.
He leaned closer once she started to make them once more, grabbing a flower or two of his own. He tried to copy what she was doing, pulling the flower stems together to make a crown.
Admittedly, he struggled at first, and Sakura ended up tying the first knot or two for him. Eventually, though, he got the hang of it, able to tie the last few knots and make a crown of his own.
“Oh, hey, I did it!” He gasped, and Sakura laughed, clapping for him happily.
He placed the crown on his head, grinning.
“It’s kind of like we’re matching—” He pointed out, getting interrupted by the sound of wheels on a driveway.
When Hiro glanced over, he noticed Hina pulling into the driveway. Sakura perked up, looking over at the driveway and pointing to the car.
Hiro watched as Hina got out of the car, smiling at the two of them as Sakura stood to go greet her.
“Hi, sweetheart!” She exclaimed, jogging over to her and wrapping her into a hug, “I’m back! Did you have fun?”
“Uh huh! Played game ‘n then flower,” She slurred, pointing to the flower crown placed on the top of her head.
Hina glanced between the two of them, chuckling.
“Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun,” She stood on her tippy toes to press a kiss to Sakura’s cheek, glancing over to Hiro.
“Thank you,” She mouthed to him, and he only gave a nod.
“Of course,” He murmured subtly, “Well… I’ll see you guys later. Take care!”
Both Hina and Sakura waved goodbye as he walked over to his car to leave. Getting in, he clicked the car into ignition, giving a final wave to the two and beginning to drive away.
As he drove down the road, on the way back home, he smiled to himself.
He was glad he was able to help.
