My 2016 Year-ender
Hello there! This post below was written a looong time ago and I saved it as draft.. After rereading this, it refreshed my memories :) I did not do a 2017 yearender though.. wish I did :|
Anyways, now publishing this (as encouraged by Carla) hahahhaa =)), here goes:

Hello blog! Long time no see! It’s been really really a long while. Kinda tired today after all the cleaning and arranging things. I feel so productive today and I am so eager to clean some more, I don’t know why ;) I just whipped out the books that I will read, hopefully. I haven’t been reading lately.
Fireworks are louder and louder now, as I typed. It’s December 31, 2016 11:02 PM. Another year is about to end. Time really flies. Yes, yes..
This year, my brother and I had some movie dates, until we decided not to watch anymore on the 2nd half of the year. #tipidtipiddin. We watched Captain America Civil War, X-Men Apocalypse and Finding Dory. We even explored Ayala Museum and we were amazed and inspired with all the art and at the same time, we were refreshed about Philippine history. :) Hey, it was free on that day! Thanks to Carla for recommending :) #Fumifieldtrip
2016 is also about exploring and trying things out. I did not do much cooking except for one dish - I cooked steamed egg custard topped with spring onions and some soy sauce on top for added taste. I was so happy about it. I loved the texture of it, it’s soft like that of a tofu or egg tart.
This year I voted in the 2016 elections. It was my first time to exercise my right to vote. It was easy breezy and not that time-consuming except for the fact that we fell in the wrong line at first, all because we listen to one of the people manning them. Next time, we will just read first haha :)
We also had our Admin Ministry 9AM team outing. It was really awesome! We went to RAVE Rainforest Adventure Experience in Pasig City. I could not believe that there is such a huge park within the busy Pasig City! We entered the A-maze Garden where you have to find your way in the maze, like the ones I saw in movies. We even thought the maze was pretty easy. We entered it so cheerfully, snapping pictures here and there. There was Alice in Wonderland and the guards and the castle. But wow, the moment we decided to exit the maze, we were so lost. Until one of us thought of going up the castle to see the big picture of everything and pointed us the right way. Whew! In life, we need to be pointed to the right direction. That moment, I thought that this was a great analogy in our life journey and faith. We were once lost but now found. We need Jesus in our life and when we believe Jesus and have repented from our sinful ways, we will be drawn closer to Him and we will be in the light, no longer in the dark, no longer lost but now found and very much in full joy and gladness. :) God will guide us. God loves us in that He became man to save us from our sins and all who believe in Him and has repented from their sins will be saved by God’s grace through faith. Humility is key too. If we insisted that no one needs to go up there the castle to lead us and correct us, probably we would still be lost for so long. Everything is by God’s grace even being humble is by the works of the Holy Spirit. You know why? Because to be humble by our own effort is really hard. We always want to feel that we are always right or that we know everything. If you find yourself being in humility, that’s by the Holy Spirit. Even patience, it’s by God’s grace. :)
We also rode the zip line! It’s a two way zip line and I have never tried the 2 way zipline before. Kinda scary at first but it was awesome! Love to be in the air sometimes overlooking the trees! :)
We took so many pictures. I felt like a model already hahaha:) We played Spot It as well when it was raining during that time. It’s a board game where you feel all the adrenaline rush because your eyes and hands and brain must be really quick. We found ourselves shouting like crazy. You can google it :) I will not detail the mechanics. ;)
2016 is not all easy breezy. I had a bad eye infection. It was so red, teary and painful that I could not open my eyes. I was at work that time and I panicked because I was thinking how could I commute to home when I could not open my eyes. I was not able to attend our painting activity in the office, the next day.. But I got the painting painted by the mentor ;)
Speaking of painting, I painted the Ship paint-by-number painting. It’s huge and very complicated with all the detailed designs. I remembered I promised to give it to my high school friend’s family. It is actually them who gave that to me. :) I rushed it like crazy hahaa, just exaggerating. ;)
2016 is really a busy year for me both in work and in ministry. But I am happy with the results and again, all by God’s grace and mercy. His mercies are new every morning :)
