Skin care side of tumblr (if that even exists) why does my skin always looks so perfect after a good session of crying?

take the pledge to end violence here
I doubt this will get much traction on here, but Puerto Rico’s governor has just passed Código Civil (Civil Code) that has loopholes regarding women’s and LGBT+ rights. This code was passed despite activists’ call for a veto, and was intentionally speedily passed so that public hearings would not take place
In a nutshell, women’s bodily autonomy has the potential to be restricted which can take away their right to abortions, and the discrimination bans against the LGBT+ community are able to be overridden.
5 trans people have died violently in Puerto Rico since the beginning of 2020.
I ask my followers and mutuals to please reblog. There is so much going on in America today and this is one thing to add. There are protests for #BlackLivesMatter in Puerto Rico and a significant black community there. As an Afro Latina and a member of the LGBT community, I ask you to spread this and help.
not a dream
the fact that the internet heard the narrative that Raini Rodriguez absolutely hates the “Fiesta Salsa” memes and everyone just ran with it and so many people gleefully cheered about how it’s even more fun to make memes of the song because she feels horrible about it (messed up), when that poor girl never even said that, she actually said she likes that the song became known because of the memes and that she finds the memes fun and funny, she only wishes people would stop making fun of her weight, she doesn’t hate the memes, she hates being called a skinny legend and being bodyshamed all the time when weight is a sensitive topic to her and body image is something she struggles with, and she seriously doesn’t deserve to feel bad about herself because people want a cheap laugh at another person’s expense
people even make fun of the fact she blocks trolls and they say she’s overly sensitive and that she deserves to be memed even more because of it, but she only blocks people that are truly horrible to her and she does it for her mental health and sanity, WHICH SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DO SO, and nobody has any right to make her feel bad about that, her weight or anything else in her life, she hasn’t done anything wrong and she continues to suffer because people don’t care that she’s an actual human being who feels emotions and exists for reasons other than to be a quick joke to them
reading more about her situation makes me feel so horrible for her, these people involved her family, trolled them too, made fun of them all, and whatever she tries to do about it backfires on her and it gets even worse, even if she ignores it, they continue
it’s time we stop giving trolls a pass because “they’re just trolls!” and realize that people like that can do real harm even if they’re obviously “joking” (meaning: being mean for no reason while hiding behind fake accounts) and are “not serious” (DOESN’T EXCUSE ANYTHING THEY DO), so next time you think to tell someone that they should ignore a troll that made them feel bad, also realize that this is a real person you’re talking to and they were made to feel horrible just so somebody else could feed on their hurt and reactions
and I think that’s sick
I think it’s sick how some people get a rise out of bullying others in any shape or form. that sounds like a them issue, and not the victim’s fault. even if it’s online. so many people dismiss online harassment as nothing big. but it can be. it really can be.
I mean, look at some of the top responses on her Tweet talking about it. Even people who are trying to defend her end up getting trolled, attacked and made fun of. I am not blocking out any usernames. You said those words publicly, now stand behind them. It’s been over four years and people still do this to her.
This is from today! Today! She just tweeted something and 95 percent od the responses are like this.
Be kind to humans abused and exploited by capitalism
A lot of people have told me that everytime they dream about alien invasions I'm there and I don't know what to do with this kind of power.

someone please post pictures of Freddie Mercury with his cats.
don't you ever start thinking that you exist outside your own reality and be like woah.
friendly street cats that keep headbutting your hand while you're trying to pet them and try to follow you when you have to leave are the closest thing on earth to angels
have a nice day :)
