[♥] This district was grassier and more…secluded than most. Probably the closest to silence in the city as it got, and he had paid careful attention to the district as he boarded off the train.
Getting lost in unknown territory was not something he fancied, not at any time but especially here. Until he knew more, everything would be regarded as a threat.
And with his Chalice Rouzer, he would respond appropriately (at least that was the action he would deem fit.) He had only paused to rest on the bench for a moment before a figure had passed by him.
There was nothing spectacular about them, but there was something that was causing his head to tilt and eyes to narrow. Wordlessly, he stood up, fully intending to follow them.
(If nothing else, perhaps he could get some sort of information from them.)
☿☈ The park was the most common place to find the demon creature in this city as it currently stood. She didn’t have a way to trim her horns but for the trees that covered the forested area mixing in with all the lakes and grasses. It worked as a nice little location to rub off her horns in the rocks and it felt like the home she was used to. Living in forests, feeding off the wildlife. She wasn’t allowed a city life before on Earth.
But it was nice to be away from the noise of most of the city, and most of the creepers as it would seem to be the case. How many times did disgusting humans decide it was totally alright to be disgusting towards her being? Though she did have a short timed defense now at least.
Tail wagging side to side across the ground, it was all these things in her head when it slowly cleared up at the feeling of being followed. How long has someone been following me? The idea made her nervous as her tail twitched and wrapped around herself protectively.
Trying to find the stalker she listened in, ears twitching, before turning finally to see if he was just flat out behind her. A snarl at her lips showing her sharp teeth.
“Why are you following me? You got something to say?” The words sharp and extremely defensive it seemed more that Zetsumei didn’t know how to take people advancing on her than she was trying to be rude.
She was scared. She was simply scared. Flashing of the bullets flying at her reminded her why she stayed away from cities in the first place.
“Talk... or I’d be happy to bite you for thinking it’s a good idea to sneak up on a dragon.”
Slides in… “What about… dragons? Do you hate them…?”
“Dragons… aren’t real. I don’t have anything against dragons.”
“As long as they never destroy Orlando.”
“I’d like to disagree about the dragons. We are very much real thanks.”
“And I have no desire to hurt Orlando. Maybe Chicago.”
“Do we really have to have fireworks? This is shitty as hell. Fuck America.”
☿☈ “It’s that time of the year again. Random ass explosions everywhere and shitty ass parades to celebrate who the fuck even knows any more. Woohoo America. I’m so happy to be here and not there today. ... Weird to think I’m even considered American but yeah, I am.”
So it’s come to my attention that oc roleplayers are not being treated with the same respect as canon roleplayers. They’re constantly pushed aside, ignored, and just overall never given a chance. As an oc roleplayer myself, I know how upsetting this can feel. Many oc roleplayers have deleted or have been moments away from deleting because of this. This is beyond appalling. Roleplayers, whether oc or canon, should be welcomed - not constantly pushed aside until they reach the deleting point. It’s because of this reason that I’ve decided to create an oc appreciation week.
This is my first time doing an appreciation week thing of any kind so I’m not too sure what I’m suppose to be doing for this but what I’ve done is gathered a few ideas on what you can do whenever you see an oc roleplayer. I’d highly suggest you do this for whatever oc you come across because the more ocs that get treated like they’re actually apart of the roleplay community then the better. We don’t want any more ocs having a horrible experience on tumblr and leaving because they’ve felt so unimportant. We need to show them that they are important and that they are amazing at what they’ve created.
Some of the ideas that I’ve gathered that you can do whenever you see an oc include:
Message them, whether on anon or not, asking them about their oc. It could be anything from asking where they got the idea from, why certain things happen in their story, what would happen to the muse if so and so happened - just anything that will get the mun to talk about the oc or even to develop their muse even more so.
COMPLIMENT THEM. Tell them what you like best about the oc. Seriously, even a small non anon/anon message telling them how much you adore their oc can mean the world to them.
Reply to their open starters. Just go through their open starter tag and reply to them. Reply to one or two or three or four - however many you want.
Tag them in random starters - again, it will mean the world to them and make them feel like they’re apart of the roleplay community. Although, better check their rules to see if they’re okay with it XD
Dude, even message them asking if they would like to roleplay. I can assure you 90% of the time they’ll say yes and just scream with joy because people asking them to roleplay (instead of them going to other people) is like a one in a million chance for them.
These are just a few examples, but overall doing anything that makes the oc roleplayer feel like they’re apart of the roleplay community, just do. Like I said, even the smallest compliment message can mean the world to them and spark their confidence levels up really high. Oc roleplayers deserve to be treated with this kind of respect, not constantly pushed aside like they’re not important.
Now, I was gonna give a time frame on when this oc appreciation week should take place but then I thought, stuff it. Oc roleplayer shouldn’t be treated like part of the roleplay community just one week a year or one week per month. They should be appreciated every day, of every month, of every year.
When people come across strange things or beings, they become cautious. First, they observe. Second, they try to determine if it is dangerous. Third, they hope for the best as they pick the best course of action.
Not Reiku, apparently. Using the wooden sword he had been given as a starting weapon, he was poking at the strange looking being. It was probably rude and annoying but that never stopped this alchemical bastard now, did it?

☿☈ Why were confusing so fucking city? Rewind that: Why were cities so fucking confusing? Sure it was probably because she never really was able to hang out in them so she never figured out the best ways to get around them but still that didn’t have to mean it’d be so hard overall.
They needed like city tour-guides in this place and people you could hire to help you find shit. She needed help.
Though right now she needed help getting this guy to stop picking her with a stick. “Hey.”
“Hey fuck will you stop that or do I have to bite your stick in half before you do?”
Grumpy but justifiably I think.

Wrapped up in your own resolve, you’ve taken to exploring the districts since your return. The key word is almost, because you know what a cesspit this place is and if someone is going to die tonight it sure as hell isn’t going to be you. You’ve had enough of dying. Your resolve however, means very little. You have failed to look below your eyeline and it seems that someone was sitting in your path and, negligence on your part has lead to your own demise. You lose your balance and are promptly ejected down a flight of stairs onto your wastechute. Giving a loud, agonizing groan you sit up to give whoever it is a piece of your mind.
KARKAT: OKAY. FIRST OF ALL, WHY FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS WITHIN THE REALM OF SENTIENT INTELLIGENCE KARKAT: DID YOU DECIDE TO SIT AROUND IN THE MIDDLE OF A DISTRICT? KARKAT: YOU DO KNOW THAT THE DISTRICTS, AMONG MANY CORNERS OF THIS CORRUPT EXCUSE FOR A HIVEPIT ARE IN FACT, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! KARKAT: THEY ARE DARK, FULL OF MONSTERS AND, PROBABLY WHERE PEOPLE HARVEST BLOODPUSHERS BY THE DOZEN. KARKAT: YOU’RE LUCKY IT WAS *ME* WHO FOUND YOU HERE. KARKAT: AND SECONDLY? I’M PRETTY SURE SURE I COULD HAVE BROKE SOMETHING. KARKAT: IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE A SAFETY HAZARD AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO PARK YOURSELF ON A FLAT SURFACE!
After your tirade, mostly brought on by the intense pain in your ankle, you manage to pull yourself up to your feet. Looking up, you squint to see what looks uncannily like some sort of denizen. A long gulp, and you feel for your flimsy wood sickle. Oh good. It isn’t broken yet.
☿☈ Honestly, honestly she wasn’t actually sleeping or anything in the middle of who knows where. She swears she wasn’t sleeping. She wasn’t sleeping at all. Not at all. She was just trying to figure out where to go next and got a little too quiet in the confusing streets.
All she wanted was to find a horn trimmer but the streets and the buildings. There were so many, too many. She wasn’t sure where she was, where anything else is. Where was she even going? She shivered.
Cities.. She thought in disgust as she rested down low and ... totally didn’t nod off while trying to understand this place. She totally wasn’t asleep when she felt someone’s foot hit her and followed with such loud ass thuds before finally stopping. Then the yelling. Her ears twitched and rested back against her head to try to muffle the sounds.
“You can shut up now you know.” Her voice was a little dark and scratchy but it mostly sounded bored. “You’re not the only one in this trashbin of a city.” Slowly standing herself up so she could look down at the guy she tilted her head. Her horns seeming to make her head tilt a bit more than she was planning on with their weight.
“You dying or something. Is that why you’re whining so much?”
I’m not putting this in that new mun tag since this isn’t really an intro or anything to me! This is more of a info on threads.
But I thought I’d posted it out there that I run Urataros [obviously], Great Leader, Ryuutaros, Zetsumei, Taiga, and Cyborg 009.
This is why I can be kind of slow. I think I’ve some how got myself over 70 active threads on everyone combined so it can be daunting getting up to doing them all. [I swear it didn’t seem a lot and then suddenly it dawned on me and now I’m like ‘how do I do this? how did I do this to myself?’ XD]
I also roleplay indy, but I’ve paused those blogs until I can get caught up in citta first.
I’m going to try not to take anymore threads, unless it’s on Zetsumei and Great Leader since they have like four threads max each.
But I’ll try to get through them. Just please be patient.
I do mark if I’ve dropped a thread on my thread pages on the blogs, so if you’re waiting for a response check there! If I dropped a thread you want to keep let me know so I can open it up again! Also if I have a thread open you want to drop let me know as well!
Rank Up! Nobody -> Citizen
Upon entering her home that night the demon found a gift awaiting her. A note with a small box besides. Opening it up it stated that she was here for a month and now gained the privilege of internet and a cellphone.
Opening up the box the girl cringed a little. It was a touch screen smartphone. Comparing it to her giant ass hands and claws, it seemed pretty damn useless.
“How do they expect me to use a touch screen phone..? With my tongue?” ... A pause.
She hit the button to turn it on and waited for it to load up. When the lock screen was displayed she let her long tongue go and swipe to unlock it.
“ .. .. Okay maybe I can keep this thing, but I need to buy some shit to disinfect it constantly.. I’m not getting fucking sick over a phone.”

The prince found himself staring. The green creature reminded him of an insectovore, which he knew couldn’t be true. He knew of every species of insectovore on Edenoi and those Dregon created.
This creature wasn’t anything like them. In fact, he knew this wasn’t a bug at all. But, he wasn’t exactly sure what he should call them or what species they were. What kind of alien were they?
Oh, he wished he had his grandfather here to help him. The king knew everything there was to know. Or so the prince was convinced. He was sure that his grandfather would have the answers to his questions. He wouldn’t even have to bother the creature with his questions.
But, King Lexxion wasn’t around to answer Dex’s questions. No matter how often he tried to contact his grandfather, the attempt ended in failure. It was in this moment that Dex realized his knowledge of the universe was vastly limited. Perhaps he could make a better use of his situation and work to change that.
He approached the horned creature covered in green fur. He wasn’t deterred by any part of its appearance. The insectovores seemed to have allowed him to push down any fear he might have expressed before meeting someone like this. The prince might perceived as rude, but he was curious and he wanted to know.
“Excuse me, I’ve never seen anyone quite like you before. May I ask which planet you hail from?”
☿☈ All she was trying to do was locate a shop that had something she could get to trim her horns. She needed -something- to trim her horns. The dang things can get super long if she doesn’t get something to trim them and it -hurts- trying to break them off to the size she liked.
Damn this was a bit of a hell. Then again she didn’t have money on her either, but maybe her appearance will get people to give her a horn trimmer for free. Since that was all she wanted.
But of course that was now pushed to the side as another human looking person walked up her way of course to ask about her appearance. Of course. At least he wasn’t attacking her or something.
Sniff. Sniff.
Zetsumei didn’t bring herself to respond right away as her nose picked up an odd sent. He didn’t smell human to her, he smelt more of a different species. One that wasn’t exactly in her diet. Ew.
“I’m from Earth if you have to ask. Why where are you from non-human..?” She finally answered to him. Her tail wagging slightly behind her before wrapping itself around her leg. Looking over his person slowly she found herself adding. “You smell like a bug..”
“…You’re a really weird looking frog.”

Stars in Heaven || Closed
☿☈ There are a lot things people could see in the darkness of night you couldn’t see during the day. The most important of those was always the stars in the night sky. The stars that shinned over the city just like they shined over home.
Having learned from experience these last few days in the city, Zetsumei made her way once again to the parks so that she could enjoy them in the darkest areas of the city she currently knew of.
Though it was dark and that meant people couldn’t see her clearly, she knew that might actually make her appearance more trouble for herself than usual. She tried to keep quiet by walking more on four legs than on two so she wouldn’t be as obvious. Her tail kept itself wrapped around her body to keep from accidentally hitting anyone.
“I wonder what area will be the best to look at the stars tonight? I hope we can see Alpha Leporis..“
Cuddling herself up in a ball on the ground enjoying the feel of the grass on her fur, Zetsumei took a deep breath before she heard the steps of someone walking which made her go silent; not realizing that probably meant in the darkness she was probably going to be tripped over.
“I’m... sorry..”

Croc isn’t sure at that point, which one makes him more contemplative. The fact, the humans don’t really intend to back off, or that this being appears so surprised about him defending her. But both isn’t speaking much in defense for the humans. Croc goes into fighting stance, before speaking up again.
“Having them attacking you, just based by your looks, doesn’t sit well with me. Aside of that, I dealt with that before, too. But I think we should take care of them and their weird weapons first, before continuing this conversation.”
☿☈ A moment. It took a moment before Zetsumei could get exactly what was going on once again and she slowly nodded. “I suppose I can agree with that. Though all the same I prefer to not fight; I best have to agree it’d be good to do so here.” Her tail swishing back and forth she looked over in their direction.
Licking her tongue across her lips she stood with her head down, now going on all fours. She was ready to pounce as necessary. After all, she was built as a tank so her body was her best weapon.
“.. I hope we both can continue this quick . you make me .. curious.”

Alvin let out a very small sigh of relief; at the very least, it wasn’t hostile towards him, even with her - her? - voice being the way that it was. It was really pretty fascinating to him; after all, he did kind of call her - her? - a monster. Although, in his defense, he didn’t really know what she - she? - was. Speaking of which…
“So, first things first, who and what exactly are you? I’ve never seen anyone like you, on Riese Maxia or on Elympios.” Alvin began, fully ready to answer whatever question she - she? - had in response.
☿☈ “What a polite way to start things.” Zetsumei’s response was simple at first as her eyes closed a bit as she looked him over with a sort of glare. His tongue wasn’t very good at picking words that weren’t the most insulting; that was for certain.
“I’m Zetsumei, an I.D. and you’re a human thing not from Earth..?” She then asked because of the names of the locations that he spoke. Either he was from a different time or from a different planet of sorts all together; that was the best way to think about it with how he said things.
“Most people even from my own planet never saw my species so I suspect it’s nothing new to not know what I am. We’re becoming less and less common these days.”
emotiondistrust
As Alvin kept going through the city in hopes of finding something related to his current goal - finding someone he knew, or, alternately, some form of income to keep himself fed - he noticed that he had absolutely no idea where the hell anything was. Shit. This needed to get fixed.
As he tried to find someone who could give him some sort of aid with either of the two things he needed most right now, he came across… well, he didn’t know what he came across, exactly, but he’d be damned if it wasn’t god damn terrifying-looking. Sure, he’d dealt with tons of huge monsters before, but… this was different. For one thing, this… creature seemed kinda human, and Alvin was trying not to kill humans anymore - even in defense, hopefully.
The other was that it looked incredibly inhuman even in spite of that. And… maybe naked? He wasn’t… entirely sure how that worked.
“Hey, you, person… monster.. thing. I got some things I wanna ask you.” Alvin called out to the being in question, unsure of what exactly to refer to them as. It… kinda looked like a girl? Biology of non-humans was hard, and Alvin didn’t know dick all about that aside from where he had to shoot or stab.
That reminded him of yet another issue to be solved… where the hell was his gun, anyway?
☿☈ Tail wagging from side to side the demon found herself extremely at a loss. This place had so many weird sounds and smells it also, so far, was lacking a forest for her to hunt in for food. She wasn’t sure what to make of the place and honestly it was putting her some what on edge.
Even so she was not as hated here as she was in the cities back on Earth where she came from. After all, they were more attack on sight any monster like beings back there and here some actually didn’t seem to even pay her mind. Some even tried to be friendly and talk like the man who called out to her stating he had a question.
A twitch of her ear and she turned her head, tail wrapping around her torso a bit to keep it from seeming antsy as she was still so nervous in this new location.
“What is it person, human thing?” She asked in response. Though her voice was a bit harsh it wasn’t inhuman. She just seemed to have a natural sound of spite on her tongue. She was extremely defensive by nature even with how she spoke. “What kind of question you wanting to ask? Going to let me ask something back?”
Monsters!
Coming from a place with no humans, this place is a little bewildering for Croc. But he learned pretty fast that you shouldn’t underestimate them. And that they don’t seem to be trusted. After all, he got attacked out of the blue, without even being able to explain himself. Maybe there are plundering Croc Bandits somewhere, and they thought he’s one of them? That would make sense at least. However, some also called him a monster, as he tried to negotiate. So much about being civilised. He’s hearing someone calling MONSTER again, but he can’t see anyone. Peeking around the corner, he quickly realizes that this time, they’re not talking about him. Rolling his eyes, he’s pulling his sword, to throw it between the creature, which Croc honestly isn’t able to define at that point, and the humans.
“You guys are really fast here with calling someone a ‘monster’. Why don’t you just scream and run away already, because I’m growing tired of this.”
emotiondistrust
☿☈ Humans were nothing new and how they were to those they thought of as monsters wasn’t anything new either. It was because of humans and their desire to fight anything that seems odd or dangerous before asking question was the whole reason she never got to meet her host body and was forced to run away from cities and live like a wild wolf in the forest.
Hearing those words of being a monster who people thought would kill them didn’t cause much of a reaction even as inside she felt her heart ache once again. Stupid annoying humans.. and creatures like them.. A growl in her throat was starting to form to send a warning before she heard someone else speak up in her stead.
Ears going up as she heard the comments she turned towards the voice to see who spoke and upon sight of the scaly figure it made sense now why he was defending her against this bias judgment towards her figure. “A.. crocodile..?” She questioned softly as she tilted her head. “A talking ..” She knew it sounded silly that a being like her would be surprised by this, but it was as odd to her his being as she probably was to him.
The appearance of him made her almost forget the humans who currently targeted her but at least she didn’t fear any damage they might cause. She’d simply heal it over time.
“You defend me..?”
