Ivory ═ What a normal day looks like for them in the city.

Kevin has a rigid mission schedule. Though he’ll never admit it, even to himself, he is much looser about the schedule than he was a couple months ago, as it feels quite pointless when there is nobody here to appreciate him for his rights or correct him for his wrongs. His only reason to follow it is to stay true to himself. Being perfect is all he’s ever wanted to do. Letting himself down is one of the worst things he could ever let happen.

He wakes up at 6:30 every morning to prepare for the day. He usually takes half an hour to stretch and exercise, or 20 minutes when he is really not feeling it. He then eats breakfast, showers, dresses himself, and spends as much time in front of the mirror as he needs to shave, do his hair, and pick himself up. Then he recites prayers and verses to himself before leaving his apartment, reminding himself that even if no one here seems to care about him, what he does is important and he can’t let anything get in his way. He is meant to proselytize from 10AM-8PM, but it is hard for him to find the energy to, as it is frustrating here in the Hive. He persists anyways, but takes longer meal breaks than he is supposed to, which is something he is admittedly very embarrassed about. By 8:30 he is back in the comfort of his own apartment to reflect bitterly on his life plan and pray, until he goes to sleep at 9:30.

Gamboge - Would they rather leave Hive City or stay?

He would leave in a heartbeat, without a moment of hesitation. Kevin is the type to do things impulsively for his own selfish need, not thinking about the consequences until they are shoved in his face afterwards. Although his situation may not even be that bad right now, and is probably better than it would be if he was still in Africa, on the mission he is supposed to be on, he would complain to the ends of the earth about Hive City. He has high expectations for himself and a glorified image of what he’s supposed to be doing right now, and he is bitter about being forced to settle for less.

Sable - Is there anyone in Citta your character has cause to fear?

Lots of people. There are a lot of intimidating and/or menacing people in the Hive. Some of them inhuman or supernatural, others just different from what Kevin is used to. He grew up in a narrow-minded environment, so even little differences can be hard for him to understand, and with the eccentric people in this city, dealing with people can become very overwhelming.

Periwinkle - Some priceless friends they would be sorry to leave?

Kevin hasn’t really made a proper friend in the city yet. There are a few people who’s kindness have made things slightly bearable, but he is still too salty to appreciate it properly.

When Kevin is nervous or uncomfortable, he has a habit of awkwardly adjusting his collar or his tie. He also has a general habit of licking his lips, and occasionally he bites them when he’s nervous. 

✭ what is one of their favorite items? 

Recipe books that his mother kept in the kitchen. When he was little he’d always just liked looking at the pictures of fancy gourmet food, but it became something that he treasured. Cooking was something that him and his mother always did together, and cooking reminded him of home. Ever since he was young he’d enjoyed helping her in the kitchen. He could never see a career for himself in it, but he would argue that he is a fabulous cook, and probably the best in his family -- even better than his mother.

Kevin has a wide, brilliant smile, and perfect white teeth that dazzle the general public. (Of his hometown, that is. The effect is mostly lost on citizens of the Hive, much to his dismay and bewilderment.) Kevin Price was known in childhood for being a cheery boy and spreading his happiness onto others. His smile is charming and joyful.

Unless, of course, it’s a fake smile, which happen quite often when you’re doing a job that requires constant smiling. Fake smiles still appear wide and cheerful, due to much practice, but they’re more lackluster, failing to achieve the effect of shiny brilliance that only a genuine smile holds.

[OK... i think,, i might be actually back..  i still am fairly unmotivated which makes me sad ‘cause i really love rping and this muse and this group a lot but i’ve just been ridiculously out of it this past month..
