I've began to notice a common factor in the lives of university students: absent love It was one of the first things I noticed when I moved and it made my heart ache. So many people need the love of Christ in their lives. Christ is my strength, my fortress, my shield, my friend, my salvation, my redeemer, my advocate, my cornerstone and my All-in-All. I wish that this Christmas, more people turn to Christ and learn about His love for them. No matter their sins, flaws and past, Christ still loves them. We need to be an example of love so that the ones that feel unloved see Jesus through our actions. We can not live without the BaL (Blood and Love) of Christ!

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭42:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Last November, I was struggling.. With self-love, with friendships, with school and with faith. I went away on a retreat with @elevationapc to regain my faith. I had seen how hopeful and full of love my pastors and my fellow friends were, who had given their lives to Christ. I really wanted to be like them. Full of hope and love through Christ. On the Saturday, I remember being so mad at God because I hadn't heard back from any universities, my grades were slipping and I wasn't too sure about my friend situation. I felt so alone and felt that nobody understood what I had been going through. "Okay God, if you are here, show me. I want to see if you are truly with me." I know you shouldn't test God, and over the years I felt like I was doing nothing but testing Him. But I really wanted to see Him. Out of nowhere, this deer comes (no more) than 10 feet in front of me. It just stood there. I was so surprised but so in awe at the same time. My heart was full of happiness. I went back to the cabin and told @s.natividad and @jenncurry30 about what I had witnessed. "What? I've been tracking that stupid deer all day!" Suzie had pulled out her bible and told me about Pslam 42:1 (which is, now, my favourite verse). The Lord does work in mysterious ways. That night I was still angry but He got through to me and He used me to pray for another boy who was hurting. I gave my heart (again) to Christ. A new scenery has been hard the last 3 months but it has been amazing. I felt alone but I remembered that God was with me. I asked for a roommate (@gillstreick ) Jesus just as much as I did, and He provided. I asked God to allow me to lead people to Him, and I got the chance to. Do Not Lose Faith. He Will Answer. P.S. It's just henna..

Happy Birthday to this amazing woman! Krista, you have grown into this amazing person! You're so strong and I've had the privilege to see you grow these last 13 years! Unfortunately, we're going to be separated for a while, so the Toronto roads can take a break from us cruising, blasting Green Day and The Weeknd, and multiple trips to Ice n' Cake. I'm am truly going to miss you! And I'm going to FaceTime you everyday and sing songs in that annoying voice that you love so much! Stay golden, pony boy!
