Originally a 3D Modeller, I enjoy gaming, rock climbing, walking/exploring, art, woodworking/designing and making furniture, metal work, 3D modelling, I build and fix custom 3D Printers, Electronics, Animatronics. Starting to Design props from Movies, TV series and video games! So Cosplay? Starting to Design "High End" Furniture, some of a Lewd nature along with the attributing accessories. Currently setting up the infrastructure of some industrial equipment so I can potentially produce things to a wider audience. Currently building a 2nd workshop(small) but with the theme of Sci-fi, so potentially a Spaceship? Edinburgh Castle

We visited Edinburgh Castle yesterday evening to attend the Edinburgh Tattoo, a Military parade hosted every year, with music and entertainment from multiple contributing countries.

It's celebrating its 75th year and running throughout the month of August.

North Pennines National Landscape

We took more scenic routes through the North Pennines, making our way up to Scotland, opting not to use the motorways purely for the adventure, it didnt disappoint in both the scenery and the shenanigans along the way. 😅

New PC time! + Holiday

Currently have a friend flying from Lithunia. (Need to set off to the airport soon) Lol

We're gonna build a couple of PCs that I've been thinking about for a while, then go on an adventure.

I've booked a couple of events and also booked a white water river activity. (I think we're getting sent down a river on pool floats?! 😅) Then, to top it off, I booked a Spa day and massages before the flights back.

Need to buy some new monitors soon to finish the "set-up", I'm thinking OLED? Any suggestions?

Carport Spring Clean - Part 2

After cutting all the blocks and mixing some concrete, I can place the blocks and fill all the pointing and gaps in the wall. (It wasn't pointed before?)

Then I paint everything with 2 coats of masonry paint, allowing a day to dry between each coats.

I managed to complete all of it, 2 days before an electrician came out to install an electric car charger.

With some more painting of the steel in its future to finish tidying up the carport. It's basically done, for a year or two. 😅

I brought some stuff at auction, including this cutting station, and needed to pick it up. This will be its first full test, and it's certainly one to test it with.

From my knowledge, the cutting station itself is around 300kg, and i possibly brought another 150kg worth of equipment. 😅🤣

Both the height of the cutting station and the weight made it feel a little sketchy, not gonna lie. But in reality, it towed fine, didn't even budge.

I'm planning to give it a fresh look at some point and some other small changes to make it better to use, I've been looking at getting one of these for a couple of years. The original ones I wanted look a lot nicer, although the price doesn't so. Bright orange, here we go.

Project: Restoring a 25+ year old Trailer! Part 11

So it's probably the final part of this project. Expect a couple of bits, but it's got to the point that it's essentially road legal and strong af. 😅

After allowing the paint to dry for a day or so. I finally got to work wiring the lights into the harness. Now, for the main wiring harness, I had loads of old and/or broken Trailer Led boards at various cable lengths. All unfortunately were 7Pin electric (UK). Which is fine for 1 of the towing vehicles.

The other is actually 13pin, but a connector solves that issue. What i failed to take into account was what the truck lights were... 13 pin. Either way, I wired everything up, tested everything, and it works perfectly.

I attached the galvanised walkway to the ramp and tested everything again.

It's done and will have its first few tests essentially right away. 👀

I've got a square number plate for the trailer between the lights.

I had a bunch of scrap box section laying around from welding, then cutting back a Carport. With the need for some angle section, I cut just offset of the corner with a grinder. After I needed to cut some notches out for fitting around the 25mm box section.

Before welding it all, I used 20mm "self tapping" metal screws to hold it all in place. Then it was time to weld. I continually placed the "ramps" back into place to check for any warping or twisting of the makeshift angle.

Once I was decently impressed by my shit welding. 😅 I quickly gave it 2 coats of metal paint, then I cut some off cuts of stainless sheet and attached it on, to mount the Truck LED panels.

I went to pick up some Galvanised Metal walkways locally. They were all slightly oversized in length and 15mm too deep. I cut them to size before testing the fit. I'm hoping to keep the structural aspect of the walkway by having an angle section for them to sit on and the previously welded cross sections to stop and bowing.

Carport Spring Clean - Part 1

I want to turn this into a potential outdoor workspace but, more importantly, give it much needed face-lift and general improvement

So to continue with the projects, I'm gonna photo dump some small stuff I've been working recently, and my phone camera is still broken. I took it to a repair shop today to replace the back cover and lens protectors. It's the sensor that's broken. I'll be getting that repaired on Friday or Saturday, hopefully.

Apologies for not posting much or "in real-life" projects. If you noticed on the video, my phone camera broke. It broke on Halloween tbf while doing a charity event. 😅 I'll fix it or get it fixed soon, or use a DSLR or some shit.
