Her body tenses slightly when she realizes she forgot to look at the files he’s sent. She’s been busy dealing with her own tasks and had forgotten about them completely. She could always lie and say she viewed them. But that would only lead to more problems if he asked more about the files.

“No sir..” She mumbles. “I’ve been busy dealing with other things and have not had time to.”

Hux turns to look at her. There’s a look of disappointment on his face. Really, he expects better from her. With hands clasped behind his back and eyes narrowing at her in disapproval, he speaks.

“ Don’t give me excuses, Lorkin. I suggest you view those files now. ”

Things are running smoothly. The resistance for once has not been on his mind and with Kylo Ren momentarily absent, Hux feels like he can relax the slightest bit. But there is still a base to run and there’s no escaping the work that had to be done. Hux lets out a small sigh before turning to glance at the familiar officer next to him.

“ Have you viewed the files I’ve sent you yet ? ”
