Me and Owen are friends – I'm so down in my seat. Me and Owen are friends – our rats – are friends. We prefer if you use like, if you're doing like a tag name for us that you use like "fruit salad duo" rather than "copper husbands." It just makes it like a little bit too romantic and weird. So, just so that's where we're at. But, still do cute fanart and such. We still love seeing the fanarts and such. Just so it's like – feeling like I should clarify. Also, if someone wants to put that onto the Tumblr and such as like a clip or whatever so that Tumblr knows. Very good. Right.

But please see my boundaries on things below. if they change i will update or add to the below Boundaries! • Fanart: I am Super Happy to see fanart and actively encourage it. • Edits: I am ok with edits as long as they do not break other boundaries set below. • NSFW/sexualization: I am not comfortable with NSFW and Oversexualisation of my character. be that in edits, fanfics etc. • Shipping: Shipping is a strange one. ive always been jokingly shipped with theorionsound and never drawn issue with it. but just be respectful. i am an adult in a relationship. being romantically shipped with other people makes me uncomfortable. friendly shipping eg duo/trio names with creators etc is fine! • Fanfic: I am ok with fanfiction but please nothing NSFW. • Reuploaded content: I have no issue with content reuploads and clip channels using my content. if it can be changed to make it more unique and not be a direct upload then thats even better, but its not something i have an issue with either way • Violent themes in fanworks: Fine with gore related works etc as long as it is to do with my character on the DSMP or another server im on. • Profile pictures: I dont mind people using the same profile picture as me or any picture of me, but please do not directly impersonate me. Fan accounts, parody accounts etc all ok! • Harassment: I Do not approve of any harassment or hate from my fans, including doxxing, “joking” death threats, and harassment based on race, ideology, or ethnic background. • Selling art: Totally fine with selling art of my character as long as it was created by you! • Miscellaneous: Please do not spam creators about addressing something, Do not speak on my behalf for things like boundaries etc, please refer to this document, Please do not get into arguments on my behalf! So long as it's just characters and not us as people you can do your thing. Just be sure to not share it in the main itlw or itlwart feeds, just slap an nsfw at the end of the tag so it's separated accordingly.
(only a lightly related note, people have been asking about making OCs in the Datastream universe, feel free to. It won't be committed to cannon on my end obviously but I'd love to see people's interpretations of the story and predictions for where it'll go and how that would adversely affect your character. The whole point of me exploring the VTubing space is to have fun with creativity and inspire others too :)

I mean, when it comes to me and just myself as a- Sorry, I can't build while I'm doing this question. When it comes to me and shipping and also my character, I kind of embody myself in my character. So whenever someone does kind of headcanony-type stuff with my creator character, it kind of feels like they're headcanoning me in some way when it comes to shipping and things like that. I tend to don't mind as much nowadays. Like, before I used to kind of mind a little bit more because I did kind of put myself in my character a bit more back then than I do now, but- Sorry this answer is probably an absolute mess, but I don't think I mind as much these days.

Pearl: I'm not gonna like block people's- I don't know how to word it really. I can't word today. This is one of the worst days for me being able to word things. But, at the end of the day, neh, if it's separated from me individually as a person in real life, you do what you want, it's all right. Just no not-safe-for-work. And don't main-tag. There you go. That's a much clearer, defined answer. As long as it's not me in real life and it's just a character that's fictional and isn't inappropriate and isn't main-tagged, all good, it's fine. "It's gotta be such an odd thing to have to process as a creator." Yeah, it's something you kinda gotta figure out how to navigate around.
Pearl: I'm kinda iffy about it to begin with is because people would ship me like on my streams and in my videos and in my comments. And I think Gem's talked about this before cause I think people have asked Gem the same question, and she's kind of the same as me – is that in the past it was a very common thing that we would record a video with a male friend or just a male colleague in general and then any time we did that we would get shipped in our Youtube comments and in our streams. It would be said every time, like, "Oh, I totally ship these two together" as something we could read directly to us. And that's the part that I didn't like. It's like, I didn't want to see that. Specifically as well, when people are in relationships, it just gets really awkward. So, you know, don't do it in the main spaces and it just kinda- People were seriously saying, "Oh, you two should be a couple" whenever we recorded.
Pearl: So that's why I was a little more uncomfy with it back in the past because it was just such a common thing. And I just didn't like it. I was like nah, I didn't want to see any of that. So, didn't enjoy it at all. And of course I'm with Karn nowadays. Like if you want to ship me with anyone, ship me with Karn because Karn and I are actually dating. Like, that's fine. I don't have a problem with that. But anyone else is just- It gets real uncomfortable.

I used to be pretty against all shipping, because people would come into my twitch chat and be like "oooooo you are speaking to a man, let me spam chat with the ship" but that has gotten a bit better recently so we can loosen the boundary if people are able to keep it sensible and keep it in fan spaces. Scott: Okay, if you don't know what this is about, that's fine. You can stay not knowing, but if you do, this is me mentioning it. Okay? We're going to do it. So, I'm going to try and keep this short and simply as I clear some stuff up. I do not support proshipping and until yesterday I had no idea what proshipping was. Now after last MCC, I removed Twitter from my phone and I would only use it if I was on my laptop while I was traveling for Vidcon and then going and then visiting Lauren and Bobby for the week. So on Saturday I was packing up my stuff and I checked Twitter before I turned off my laptop and noticed an artist I had followed was receiving death threats and hate. And me not fully knowing what was going on, I shot them a DM along the lines of "Sorry you're getting hate." And then I logged out and flew home. That was my mistake, as I should not have said anything without fully reading what was going on. I had just seen someone really upset and wanted to help. After I got home and found out what was happening, I realized that people were saying that my DM and I supported it. Again, I do not. I immediately unfollowed the artist and have since told them that I do not- I did not realize the full degree of what had happened.
Since this, I have made the decision to step away from Twitter fully. I'm going to do my best to not log in and to look at it. Or if you or someone you know is affected by this stuff, please do find the help you need and take steps to protect your own mental well-being like I am. I am also going to say going forward that my boundaries with that art and such has changed, and I am no longer okay with NSFW art of me or my character. And that is the last I am going to talk on the subject. So, we are going to dive into Pirates, okay? Hi Eloise. As I said chat, if you don't know what it is or what's going on, enjoy the ignorance, enjoy the bliss. Just, you don't need to know anything. Nothing else is happening here.
