He is actually called that in the manga. And it's arguably the case as well in the J-Drama.

(The moment he hears the idea that she might leave the school if she gets married, he literally freezes with mouth agape for 30 s straight. And when there's a guy who wrongs her, he immediately closes in and confronts him with a voice so low and monotone. It's honestly scarier than if he had just immediately thrown punches as usual.)

One of my absolute favorite local birds, the Bluethroat (Luscinia svecica)! These guys are very abundant here, and I love their personality and little songs. Very often on my walks in Spring, a bluethroat male will jump out of the bush, puff up its beautiful chest and sing as loud as he can, sometimes using bits and bobs from other birds' songs.
