-Don’t insult people, even jokingly
-Compliment things they have complete control over—> rad/cool/awesome/ shoes, clothing, hair, jewelry, kindness
-Always assume the best out of people; everyone experienced today differently
-Reread and reconfirm the rules of any space/community you enter and do not break any rules
-Do small favours
-Smile at people (mouth closed) if in US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand
-Always say ‘hello’ and ‘how are you’ before asking questions, favours, work-related concerns
-Think about your present (80%) more than you dwell on your past (10%) and plan for your future (10%)
-Always say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’
-Turn jealousy into admiration and self-improvement—> if you are jealous of an employed friend..find something that works for you! Volunteer, work online, start a small business
-Eye contact for 4 seconds, away for 1 second and repeat
-Remember that the validation of others will never matter as much as your own self-validation
-Do not beat yourself up for not being perfect, it’s everyone’s first time living and we all struggle!
