' gilgamesh kisses sound nice... '
glomps
A gleeful laugh erupts from crimson lips as the clay doll flings themselves at her form – she, who was unprepared for the sudden assault. Nevertheless, her arms snake around their chest and pull them into a tender embrace. There was a lingering sense of nostalgia within her breast, but she spoke with warm words. Her hands stroked their emerald hair, enamored by it’s softness despite the wildness of the owner.
“ Enkidu – you are lively as ever ! How are you fairing ? ”

WEEKLY HEADCANON PROMPT.
How does your muse want to be seen by others? By the Pharaoh?
frankly, enkidu doesn’t care much about how people view them. they find trying to accommodate to others’ viewpoints quite pointless in the end, so they just do their own thing and let others do theirs.
How does your muse see themselves?
they’d like to believe that they see themselves as they are, no more or less, as unbiased as possible. what that means, exactly, depends on what’s being asked.
What is your muse’s strongest character trait? Weakest character trait?
enkidu is extremely stubborn, though their passive nature hides it quite well. one could get into an argument with them without quite realizing it. their self-image could use some work; not that they think badly of themself, they just...don’t think anything of themself.
How competitive is your muse in all aspects?
SURPRISINGLY SO. in a serious competition, enkidu is in it to win it no matter what.
Is your muse impulsive or premeditative?
frankly, it depends on who they’re with. enkidu is really more of a follower, so they’ll typically go along with the “leader’s” plan. if alone, more premeditative.

What is your muse’s race/ethnicity?
enkidu is of MIDDLE EASTERN ORIGIN, slightly on the lighter side skin tone wise, and hailing from somewhere around uruk. long story short, MESOPOTAMIAN / SUMERIAN.
Is your muse in good health? Mental, physical and spiritual wise?
generally speaking, yes, they are. they tend to think a little differently than most people do, but not in a bad way. just different.
What good and bad habits does your muse have?
you know how cats usually take naps wherever they damn feel like? enkidu does the same thing, typically while outside as they don’t like being inside for long. although they do it more accidentally. they also frequently rock on their heels and hum.
What makes your muse the happiest?
being around nature! being outside, caring for the animals, gardening, etc. there’s nothing better to them!
How does your muse display affection?
hugs. lots of hugs.
just a quick thing; i highkey ignore the fact that enkidu was “summoned with only a tunic”. like, i get the whole “keep their figure hidden” sort of thing, but that doesn’t mean i have to like it. unless otherwise stated, assume enkidu is wearing this outfit.
One of the world's oldest (and still most beautiful) recorded eulogies:
As Gilgamesh weeps over the faithful Enkidu:
“Hear me, great ones of Uruk, I weep for Enkidu, my friend, Bitterly moaning like a woman mourning I weep for my brother. O Enkidu, my brother, You were the axe at my side, My hand’s strength, the sword in my belt, The shield before me, A glorious robe, my fairest ornament; An evil Fate has robbed me. The wild ass and the gazelle That were father and mother, All long-tailed creatures that nourished you Weep for you, All the wild things of the plain and pastures; The paths that you loved in the forest of cedars Night and day murmur. Let the great ones of strong-walled Uruk Weep for you; Let the finger of blessing Be stretched out in mourning; Enkidu, young brother. Hark, There is an echo through all the country Like a mother mourning. Weep all the paths where we walked together; And the beasts we hunted, the bear and hyena, Tiger and panther, leopard and lion, The stag and the ibex, the bull and the doe. The river along whose banks we used to walk, Weeps for you, Ula of Elam and dear Euphrates Where once we drew water for the water-skins. The mountain we climbed where we slew the Watchman, Weeps for you. The warriors of strong-walled Uruk Where the Bull of Heaven was killed, Weep for you. All the people of Eridu Weep for you Enkidu. Those who brought grain for your eating Mourn for you now; Who rubbed oil on your back Mourn for you now; Who poured beer for your drinking Mourn for you now. The harlot who anointed you with fragrant ointment Laments for you now; The women of the palace, who brought you a wife, A chosen ring of good advice, Lament for you now. And the young men your brothers As though they were women Go long-haired in mourning. What is this sleep which holds you now? You are lost in the dark and cannot hear me.”

Does your muse have any distinguishing facial features?
enkidu’s eyes are certainly their most unique feature. they are typically a deep green so vibrant it seems unnatural. on top of this, the color alters itself depending on their mood. this actually isn’t terribly uncommon with lighter eyes, as changes in light can also change the percieved color, but it’s to a greater extent with enkidu.
What is your muse’s most prominent mannerism?
enkidu tilts their head quite often around people perceived as friendly, though not for the reason one may think (confusion, etc.) tilting the head to the side is a submission signal because it exposes the throat and neck, making the person look smaller and less threatening. as such, it’s meant to make others more at ease. furthermore, it signals that someone has their attention (when you see an audience tilting their heads and leaning forward using hand-to-chin evaluation gestures, you're getting the point across).
Do they have a set of words or phrases that they overuse?
enkidu isn’t exactly the best when it comes to talking, so they’ll very often start their sentences with “ah”, “oh”, “well”, etc. followed by a slight pause in order to give themself some time to figure out what they’re going to say next.
Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?
generally, they’re very optimistic, always looking on the brighter side of life. they hold a belief that if you think things will go wrong, it has a higher likelihood of doing so, so you may as well think positively. that being said, they’re not so optimistic that it clouds their judgement; they know when a situation is hopeless.
Are they introverted or extroverted?
a little bit of both, actually! though definitely leaning towards extrovert. enkidu is sometimes a bit skeptical of people, but it’s not very difficult to get them to warm up to someone. once they do, they’re as friendly as can be, and a tad bit loud...albeit, sometimes they go a little overboard. they don’t mean any harm, though, they just get excited!
all this talk of aristocrats and nobles is fun and all, but this story is that of a mere dancer...lion tamer...thief? ...all of the above.
hailing from the city of uruk, enkidu was...pretty much destined to never amount to anything. wealth and lineage equals power, and they had neither. considering they were orphaned at a young age, it’s a miracle they’re even alive. were it not for the wildlife, they probably wouldn’t be. this is beginning to sound awfully like a fairy tale, isn’t it?
nevertheless, society had nothing for them, so they went on their own rather quickly, taking a lion they affectionately refered to as gilgamesh. the two traveled around for many years, getting food, money, and other essentials via enkidu’s dancing (and the occasional theft; who’s going to fight a lion?), eventually ending up in exotic egypt.
it was there that their days of traveling seemed to end.
they had no idea what that creature was, but it certainly looked like a lion cub in shape. it seemed to like gilgamesh, too, though he wasn’t very fond of it (no one could blame him; having a baby bite your tail isn’t fun!). enkidu never thought it would belong to the pharaoh.
after a few hours of playing with the cub(?), the duo was approached by a group of soldiers, who got awfully aggressive upon noticing the cub with them, which in turn caused gilgamesh to become aggressive...it was, in general, a bad situation.
enkidu called gilgamesh off at the same time a voice told the soldiers to stand down.
he was tall, admittedly quite handsome, and gave off such an air of power and authority that it was nearly crushing. enkidu couldn’t move, but gilgamesh could, releasing a mighty roar...before being scolded by his companion. the lion looked back, confused as to why he was stopped, to be met with a soft sigh.
“think about it: if he wanted to kill us, we would be dead already.”
and the lion, after seemingly contemplating the other’s words, backed down.
and the pharaoh, having witnessed a strange foreigner seeminly communicate with a wild beast, was intrigued.
he offered enkidu a hand, as well as a place in his palace.
a dancer...caretaker...spy?... perhaps all of the above.
SEX / GENDER
we all knew this was coming, folks. so before i write my thing for the beautiful harem verse, let me get this out of the way:
enkidu has ABSOLUTELY NO SEX CHARACTERISTICS whatsoever. primary or secondary. none at all. they are completely, 100% sexless. as such, and as you may have noticed, enkidu uses strictly they/them/their or any other gender neutral pronouns. don’t bother trying to get them to say otherwise.
in all HUMAN VERSES, that is any verse where enkidu isn’t...well, a clay doll, they are BIOLOGICALLY FEMALE, but still androgynous enough to pass as whatever. regardless, they/them pronouns still apply.
mkay, now that i have calmed down a bit, allow me to explain what my last post meant!
I AM OFFICIALLY SAYING “FUCK YOU” TO THE FATE FANDOM!
yup, you heard me, folks! this fandom is a toxic waste dump, and i want nothing to do with it!! does this mean i’m archiving arturia + my other fate blogs? NOPE! lmao, although i’m sure there are people who would love if i did that, i’m not! i’m simply not affiliating myself with the fandom anymore. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? well, for starters, it means i’m most likely not going to follow anyone else from the fandom, unless i’m relatively positive they’re not absolute dickwaffles. furthermore, i’m going to be going through my following list and unfollow / block people who are knee-deep in a certain ‘ clique’s ‘ shit! don’t get me wrong, you can associate with whoever, but if you try and justify their actions or anything of that sort, YOU’RE OUTTA HERE!! i, too, was once naive enough to believe they were decent people, and i can’t blame those who believe it either, but frankly? i don’t want anything to do with people that try to defend scumbags who really should be charged w/ harassment and, on a more extreme scale, attempted murder!! insert someone gets hurt here … and i bid you all ADIEU!
It’s a privilege to be loved by you.
