I have been watching WIFE SWAP and I honestly wouldn’t mind being part of something crazy like that. To live a different life for a few weeks to see how someone married, divorced, single lives would be so much fun. Or am I just crazy for wanting to do something like that?

I don’t have experience on this or the wife or mom thing but come on, nobody will ever replace you in their life if something like that were to happen. But can’t you imagine being single for a few days? It would be like a vacation. @ems-blunt

I sure hope not, it would make me incredibly sad. Honestly, I don’t want to picture being single. I am still crazy about my husband even after 10 years together. A night or two with just him and the kids away is nice but after a while, you start to miss the crazy.

“Well, parents that are screwed together, stay together.” She joked. Emily loved that they had been together so long, and she still lived for these small moments when they could just relax after their day together. “It was good. Work is all gearing up for the end of term, so it’s all go.” She explained, “So I am sorry if I fall asleep on you.” Emily laughed. “How was yours?”

As it was getting pretty late, John quietly left their older daughter’s bedroom after checking on her, and made his way to where Emily was. “I don’t mean to alarm you, but I think we have a genius child on our hands. There was a math book on her bedside table.” he kissed her cheek and sat down next to her. His arm instinctively wrapped around her shoulders to hold her close to him. As much as he loved his children and adored the time he got to spend with them, it was always very special to have some down time with Emily. “What are we watching?”

Emily had just finished tidying up the kitchen and went to sit down on the sofa while John checked on their kids. “A math book?” She asked, a small laughter in her voice. “Well let’s hope she’s better than me at it because I will be no use at helping with that homework.” She teased. Emily moved slightly closed to him. Letting her head fall on his chest. “Oh, I can’t find anything that takes my fancy. Do you have any requests?” She asked, handing him the remote.

I normally make coco for my daughters, they love it. I can’t have coffee past four otherwise I would be up all night.

So, today I was looking at old photos and showing my five-year photos and my husband and I and she started crying because she isn’t in the wedding photos. I tried explaining that she wasn’t born yet and that is why she wasn’t in the photos and showed her photos we have of her as a baby but it wasn’t enough.
