You know those people who are too much?
Too loud?
Too out there?
Too crazy?
Too weird?
Too extravagant?
The people who you have 20 different mini conversations amid one main topic?
You get so lost when you’re talking because you talk about everything?
All the conversations that circle back around 20 minutes later & still somehow relate?
The conversations that start talking about the weather & lead to the color of leaves, which inevitably leads to talking about the cosmos somehow because, why not?
Yeah, that’s me.
I’m multidimensional.
If you don’t know what that means.
I’m not for you.
If you can’t handle my full laugh because it’s too loud.
I’m not for you.
You you can hold my pieces when I’m melting down.
I’m not for you.
If you can’t love all the facets of my personality & hold space for me.
I’m not for you.
If you can’t talk oceans, astronomy, food, cartoons, life, feelings, deep thoughts.
I’m not for you.
I’m loud, I’m curvy, I take up space, I have thoughts, I have feelings, I have value, I have worth.
You have to take all of me the good & bad, the pretty & ugly, the happy & sad, the crazy & the mad.
I’m all or nothing.
I won’t settle.
I won’t compromise.
I’m honoring me.
If you can’t do that, you know where the door is.
Some of us will always be ‘too much’.
Good.
We’re pushing you to grow.
We’re not too much, you lack capacity for us.
Keep being too much.
{Julia, because if you know her laugh, you know my laugh.}
