hai hello im mari and i realized i didnt have a pinned on here yet

what brushes do you use the most?

im stealing this from my insta story Its these ones typically!! heres the link to them:)

I cant remember if its in the gdrive actually But the insta story is a lil outdated lol I mostly use the little brush for rendering now rather than ink bleed !!!!! the brushes r rather similar tho but Ya:)

Generally: matt's pencil & flat brush ! i use the fine stable I kinda forgot what its called specifically for sketches/rendering (like base sketch of rendering....) Actual main ones i use for rendering would be the little brush + the 2 rake brushes in the link provided!

also i forgot abt this brush Its not in the link But i've also been using it for rendering recently!!! ^__^ (dunno if the link to that brush works but i hope so......)

Uhmm i guess the main or most basic thing was that i took alot of inspo from artwork and artists i like !!! another thing i think is to think about the main features u want ur artstyle to have:) only rlly saying that since Generally my artstyle hasnt exactly changed "as much" but rather just like ?? developed in a way :D ahahaha.. like u can see here (i think?) !!!!

from 2021 -> 2022 -> 2023 (and late 2023 lol) -> 2024 -> 2025 to now, it only rlly developed in a way ahaha:D SORRY ITS SO CONFUSING IM NOT GOOD W WORDS AT ALL just rlly try to have a general style or vibe ure going for..n take inspo from artists/artwork/artstyles etc that u like!!!!:D if it makes u feel better i started drawing with a powerpuff girls artstyle with ms paint and deviantart bases. U can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what’s your colouring process?

hai!!!!!! with the help of a small tsukasakun and an even smaller rui My coloring process is somethinggg like this:)

if its abt my most recent artwork tho I used grayscale for that one (+red blood layer on multiply lol) ! then just did adjustments to get it to look like how i wanted it to. But im not super knowledgeable or experienced in grayscale coloring (only did it bc i felt it was the approach that would work best w the piece😭) so i uhhhh i dunno! just know that gradient maps and curves adjustments are my bestest friend ever!!!!!
