gonna miss the ability to draw FEMALE-PRESENTING NIPPLES but surprisingly none of my posts got flagged hmmmm

it must be because my style is so pointy and i never ever draw dots

i feel really bad about barely posting all month... also there was a piece i wanted to finish by halloween but i didn’t have enough time :’^(

i’m gonna try to post inktober from last year and this year all at once to make up for it, but it’s real late so some posts might end up being posted tomorrow orz

i just realized i never uploaded my inktober art from last year... hm...

i think i’ve pretty much failed inktober this year so maybe i’ll post last year’s stuff and ~no one will know~

sorry for not posting for a while btw, i haven’t drawn much lately that i think is ok to post. i guess i could put some oldish art in the queue though, i prob have some su/mo fanart laying around somewhere

i just wanted to say thank you all for the support, i’ve been working hard to draw more and get better these past few weeks, and i’m getting way more recognition than i used to so i must be doing something right heh (dunno how many of you ended up following me but if you happen across this post, hi!)

i know the amount of notes i get might not be a lot in the grand scheme of things but like it just really makes me happy to know that someone likes my art, esp when i spend hours and hours on a piece. so yeah, thanks <3

haven’t watercolor’d anything in a while so i painted this squid... i think this turned out p nice B)

i used winsor&newton watercolors and like a 4h pencil for the sketch underneath (oh yeah and a uni-ball white gel pen but you can’t really see the ink very well)

i went to go see 2001: a space odyssey recently... still have no idea how to feel about it but i drew this

might do some composition studies from the film too at some point

i changed up my style a bit here ‘cause i thought it would look weird trying to draw such a moeblob face lol

not gonna try shading the pillow because this pose/perspective was already more confusing than the entire plot of the movie (i’m exaggerating) so screw that

dunno if i’ll finish this but i def wanna make more fanart of the film! i feel like i don’t have the same problem i have with a lot of other anime where i’m not sure what face to give the character and i have to come up with a new face while somehow making sure the character still looks like themself, if that makes sense. the style of this movie is fairly realistic, so i think mima still looks like herself here.

haruko is very fun to draw, her design works surprisingly well in my style imo. i was thinking of drawing mamimi but she’s not quite pointy enough

i really like the way this turned out! i might finish it but i feel like it would lose some of its charm if i tried to line/colour it.
