constantly tagging along with someone and busting your ass for them and listening to their baggage and working on their problems even though you have less than nothing to do with them is not ‘taking no shit’ it’s kind of the opposite
sir you had 6 episodes and bloom and sky were together by the end of it there is nothing “slow burn” about them

It actually makes cartoon Riven look like a saint

i keep seeing people say aisha is the only good character in fate or the only character that's easy to watch and i don't think you guys realize it's because she's literally only there to be the Black Bestfriend for bloom and therefore has nothing interesting going on with her. if they actually wanted to give her scenes that existed purely for her, then she'd be just as hard to watch as the rest of them

fate winx saga defenders making posts: look guys i know they whitewashed the diverse characters, had one black character who was stripped of all her interesting characterization, made fat jokes about the only fat character, and made the evil characters gay on top of butchering all the characterizations and making a girl- and female-friendship-positive show revolve around petty drama and girls being mean and jealous bUT–

finished the series via p*rating!!! FATE thoughts, spoilers ahead.
stella was never mean. she was sassy and BLUNT, which are NOT the same as being cheryl blossom 2.0. I fucking hate it. also, musa gets to deal with her empathy, terra her insecurities, bloom her mysterious past, stella w her mothers issue, and aisha being... bloom’s supportive friend? this doesn’t sit right with me. the only black character being solely the main character’s aid? don’t get me started on how irritating riven is. yeah, on the animated series the character overall was annoying, but this? this wasn’t riven, just some biphobic asshole who tries too hard. can’t sit quiet without bullshit coming from his dirty mouth. he was truly the most useless character yet. the only good thing about it was bloom’s transformation sequence in the last episode. that’s it. this isn’t winx, it felt like riverdale mixed up with pretty little liars’ mystery vibes. this show could have been good on it’s own. but at this point, they made a grave mistake. they just slapped the winxs names to the characters and called it a day.
