I was hoping to come back sometime this week but uh…

My computer may have crashed last night. 

I’m going to apple today to get it looked at, but it may not be good and I may have lost all my icons and psds.

Her nails continue to rake through his hair, a pleased smile pulling at her lips at the blissful look on his face. It was cute how quickly she could reduce him to putty in her hands.

The smile widens as he pulls her closer and with a quick check for an all-clear, Sarah pushes him against the nearest wall, pressing against him from chest to knee.

“You know what else will never change?” Sarah said as she went up on her toes, her lips a hairs breadth from his.

“How much I love you.”

Kaidan grunts in surprise at being pinned. It can be easy to forget how strong Sarah is until he sees her strength in action. She’s warm against him, and a warmth spreads from inside himself as she leans up, mouth close to his.

One hand finds her waist again. The other moves to her jaw, her neck. He brushes his thumb over her cheek bone and smiles as he resists the urge to close the distance, to kiss her soundly. 

“That’s the most reassuring thing I’ve heard all day. All week, even.” He brushes his nose against hers. “And it’s reciprocated.”

the asari chuckles, fingers continuously brushing through dark locks, admiring the soft strands as they curled about her fingers. “Would you? ” Liara questioned– teased, really. sure, the shadow broker was innocent in the game of love and romance, however, she does know enough to tease. 

hand strayed from his hair and to his cheek, cupping it carefully within her blue velvet palm, thumb softly brushing his stubbled cheek. “Well,I am always available to offer my services. That is, if you find yourself in need of them. ”

“Hmm... yeah. I would.” Her tone sends a fluttering through his stomach. She’s teasing him. He blinks at her as her fingers still toy with his hair. Wonders if she knows just what she’s doing to him with all this. He leans into her touch as it moves, and feels emboldened.

He lets his hand close the distance to her thigh, resting his fingers delicately against the material of her suit. Easy to push away if unwanted. “Something tells me I’ll want to be in need of them fairly often, Liara, if you’re so available.” He doesn’t want her to stop touching him, to stop giving him the affection he so craves. “If that’s okay.”

“Rude!” She lightly slaps his shoulder with the back of her hand, her face falling into a mock scowl. It’s so easy, probably way too easy, to pick up the teasing and the banter as if the past three years haven’t happened. Once more she has a best friend, someone she can run to when she needs someone to rescrew her head back into place and clear out the bad thoughts. I’ll have you know I’m decent at cutting hair.”

Pushing her hair out of her face, she moves past him and into the bathroom. Opening the top drawer of the counter, she pulls out the scissors she keeps there and turns back to face him. Fingers threaded through the handles, she gives them an experimental snip.  One eyebrow raised at the major, she gestures towards her desk chair.  Setting the scissors down, she grabs one of her towels from the bookshelf where she had thrown it earlier. 

“You know most people would see this as the chance of a lifetime.” Her voice is light as she gently tugs the towel around Kaidan’s shoulders, her gaze firmly fixed to the top of his head. Smoothing th towel over his chest and shoulders, she offered the man a smile. “After all, the Great Commander Shepard’s never this kindhearted.”

Kaidan grins at his old friend, even as she hits him. It’s almost the way it used to be. Mercilessly teasing each other, manipulating for reactions. For a moment, Kaidan doesn’t feel his 35. He feels like the kid who used to tug on Jules’ ponytail for her attention, who would throw his legs in her lap without fanfare, who would sneak up on her and yell close to her ear before being chased to screams of her own. It’s... a great feeling. “Really? Well, this will be a treat then.”

He watches her as she toys with the scissors, points him to the chair. For a moment, anxiety rolls in his stomach. Nothing to do with her, of course. But that kind of nervousness one feels before a haircut when comfortable with one’s hair. He sits down, takes a breath. It’s just a haircut. Maybe this hadn’t been the best time to remember being a kid. Adults should be able to handle a small haircut. She’ll do fine.

Her touch relaxes him, hands gentle on his shoulders. He snorts at her words, tipping his head back against her to give her his most skeptical look. “Well, most people must not know the Great Commander Shepard like I do. She’s usually kindhearted with me.” He straightens again, toys with his BDUs. “I think someone is selling her a bit short.”

//so... i’m trying to get back into things. i’ve been kind of a mess emotionally and confidence wise, and honestly just exhausted, so i’ve been focussed on other things. i’m going to try and come back slowly, work on easier replies, so just be patient with me.

        She was damn lucky that he couldn’t see her jaw hit the floor.         So, there was a nice set of muscles under all that fabric and         armour. Tali cleared her throat. Professionalism, obviously. “It’s         not lame. Besides, you’ll probably hate mine.”

     Kaidan gives his shoulders a quick roll before pulling his shirt back on. He’s not the type to just show off his tat, but Tali pushed him. And she’s hard to say no to. “Please. I’m a marine. I’ve seen some terrible tattoos in my time. I doubt I could hate yours.”
