any other autistic people bitter/sad about the fact that it seems like allistic people choose to act against their moral compass so much? even though you don't? because i have given up my personal desires to choose what my morals tell me is the "correct" decision so much. i have made myself uncomfortable to do the "right thing" literally hundreds of times. but it seems like it's rarely reciprocated. that allists will ignore their morality to choose rudeness and selfishness.

it’s because they all have something wrong with them. they’re not truly good, they’re just self-absorbed and shallow. everything they do is transactional in nature, that’s why they blabber on about empathy so much, allistics are incapable of goodness or kindness unless it is in some way beneficial to them and empathy makes other people’s feelings their issues. that’s why laws exist, so these shallow people and their masquerade of humanity don’t all kill each other. we understand the nuances and details of life and our morality informs what we do. they smooth over in “shades of gray” what we are astute enough to see as black and white interspersed with one another
