in another universe I’m easier to love
I’ve been trying to come up with new mental schemas to become the person I was always supposed to be, wanted to be and was originally with you.
Hey kids, not to be a party pooping adult, but if you start noticing signs of having an addictive personality/tendencies at a young age, be really careful when experimenting with alcohol, marijuana, or nicotine (and other illegal drugs, which I would encourage you to avoid entirely; and medicinal drugs like opioids acquired after a surgery).
Like, if you can't tear yourself away from a video game, even to make it to an important event on time? Addictive tendencies.
If you keep spending your allowance money on those funny collectibles or new shoes even when you promise yourself you're going to save it? Addictive tendencies.
If you find yourself unable to resist and manage food cravings, or frequently overeating even when it makes you feel bad? Addictive tendencies.
Be aware of yourself, kids. Be cautious and don't be anybody's fool. I love you, be safe!
I’m very pro-legalization, but
people who tout marijuana as non-addictive as well as it being a plant instead of a drug are very, very ignorant on the basics of how drugs work.
Marijuana may be safer than say, alcohol or cocaine, but it’s still possible to become addicted to it and need it to function. An easy way to tell if you or someone else is addicted -to anything, not just weed- is to ask yourself, “is it possible for me to function sober/without [thing]?” If the answer is no, brah I’m sorry to say, but you’re probably addicted. Maybe not physically as is the case with hard drugs, but with marijuana, you can get psychologically addicted.
Smoking anything is going to harm your lungs. Smoke itself is usually carcinogenic. If anything, it’ll burn your throat which is still not a good thing to do. Luckily, as legalization occurs more often, there’s more access than ever to devices that’ll help us ingest and reap the benefits of marijuana without the smoke.
Last but not least, marijuana is definitely a drug. It’s psychoactive, which is defined as “affecting the mind”. It alters your consciousness and affects your brain and memory for as long as the high lasts.
As a disclaimer, I’m not saying let’s stop using marijuana at all. What I am trying to say is let’s not allow myths and the idea of it being a “miracle non-drug” get in the way of legalizing and ridding ourselves once and for all of the stigmas. What we need to reach that goal is cold truths. Yes it’s a drug and yes sometimes it can do more harm than good, especially with those who have mental health issues, or those who are susceptible to cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome or “greening out”, but we shouldn’t let that nor the stigmas get in the way of legalization. To do so only promotes ignorance in yourself and society as a whole.

I have a strong natural sense of individuality rebellion and creativity and though it sometimes causes trouble it is a blessing. I’ll never conform, not in this life or the next.
those little things on ur nose aren’t blackheads, don’t try and get rid of them they’re sebaceous filaments and they’re permanent and literally everyone has them
every girl has that little pouch of fat on her lower tummy, despite what magazines try n show u, you have important organs there that need to be protected don’t try and get rid of ur pouch
ur body is smarter than u think and it knows what to do when u eat more than normal. one bad day, or even week, of eating poorly isn’t gonna ruin anything at all I pinky promise
if u think u look good up until u try taking a selfie, it’s not ur fault - our faces are asymmetrical and when u see ur face flipped it will look unnatural to u, since u don’t see it that way when u look in the mirror. to everyone else it looks perfectly fine
no one’s stomach looks the same at 8pm as it does at 8am. no one has a chiseled six pack after a day of eating, not even the super fit people u see on tumblr, because ur stomach naturally expands after eating and expecting to have a flat tummy before bed is very unrealistic
no one notices if the bags under ur eyes are bad today. no one pays attention to the bump in ur nose or the zit on ur chin or the piece of hair that u missed when u were straightening. literally no one notices these things except you so stop worrying about it ur gonna be fine
sometimes u just gotta get over urself
this made me cry I needed it so bad
