Last film - We rewatched Turning Red for the umpteenth time this weekend. It's a favorite in our house.
Last series - Heated Rivalry. I tried to watch the new season of Bridgerton but couldn't get into it.

Last video game -so not a gamer. Sorry. Hubby and I played Kingdom Hearts together pre-baby 🤷🏻♀️
Currently working on - My Cliff Marlow/Luca Haas self indulgent fic.
Today's what can I do
-eat a healthy breakfast
-drink water
-work a little later at work to finish this projective been banging out for months

Today is going to be a tough transition for everyone but I can:
-drink water
-not over caffeinate
It's silly but I've come to the realization that I'm the only one that can take care of me. My husband isn't going to swoop in. My mom isn't going to do it. I need to find ways that work for me. On today's installment of what part of this can I do?

-make a big batch of shredded chicken to be used today and throughout the week
-do yoga

dealing with a sick kiddo. She has a fever and is exhausted but seems to be ok taking fluids. She's velcroed to me (and only me-not my husband). I barely slept last night since she was awake a lot. But I can:
-drink water
-try not to over caffeinate
-eat home cooked meals
My motto for this year is "what part of this can I do?" On my cruise recovery today is the following:
-drink more water
-do yoga
-make a turkey and veggie soup
My heated rivalry obsession has me watching hockey again. I grew up on hockey. It was something I bonded over with my Dad. My last text to my Dad was about hockey. My team is playing incredible and I've been texting my brother. It's making me feel more myself than anything has in a long time.

Lean into community (whether that be online on IRL)
Take care of myself better ( taking my vitamins, going to regular doctors appointments, eating and moving my body is ways that feel good, taking better care of my mental health)
Getting a better handle on finances (kids in daycare…I essentially have 2 mortgages. Shit is tough.)

Woke up to the sound no toddler parent wants to hear….sounds of the holiday stomach bug arriving in your house.
Guys I've been just trying to survive through December.....I didn't realize I only have one week in January and then I leave for vacation. Why did I think this was a good idea?????
I forgot we get Bridgeton season 4 in January! Yay for the continuation of things my husband doesn't watch with me!
One of the goals is to take better care of Mr. Tonight increasing a book that's been on my nightstand for 2 months and ran myself a bubble bath.
One of the things about watching/reading heated rivalry this month is that it reminded me that I need to do more things for myself. More things for me, without guilt or shame. Things that are inconsequential but that aren't more my husband or kid, just for me. Also, my library (predictably) doesn't have enough adult queer ebooks available,
I wore an ugly sweater today and I'm having a sensory nightmare. I love this sweater but by the afternoon it is itchy AF.
