You know ♥ Thank you very much anyway! :) ♥
Hey anon! first of all I wanna apologize because I haven't checked this blog in ages, so I don't know how long ago you sent me this ask, or even if you'll see the reply. I'm flattered you like my writting, as I try to do my best to post good ones for you guys. You're in luck! My school is ending very soon, so I will have time to write your imagine. Thank you once again! You're on the list ~
Written in the stars - part 2 (read part 1 here)
Imagine you work with the british men of letters and sam is your assignment.
Word count: 1909 Warnings: blood. Not really graphic taking care of a wound. .
xx Your eyes landed on Sam as if he was a prize you had taken a very long time to get. You still couldn't believe you had finally been able to catch him. Or rather, Toni had.
The first thing you noticed were his eyes; Hazel and intense. He was scared, definitely, even though he was trying to hide it. But what struck you most was the defiance.
It was so clear on his face, as if he had the advantage over you and the others, even though he was completely tied up on the trunk of a car. Not many of the criminals you hunted for the Men of Letters had that look on their faces after being caught. It was amusing.
"Did you check him for weapons?" You asked Jason, who shook his head affirmatively.
"Yes, ma'am. Toni did it back at the bunker he was found in, and I did it again soon as we placed him on the car" You nodded approvingly.
Your eyes fell on the tourniquet on Sam's leg. Toni surely had done a number on him. You reached for it, ignoring Sam's muffled noises through the gag and his attempts to break free.
"Stop it. You're going to need your strength" you said, ignoring the pain that flickered on his eyes as you touched his jeans. Yep, he was still bleeding. Definitely less than he would be without it, but still bleeding. Dammit.
"Get back in the car. We need to take him to the infirmary" You practically felt Jason tilt his head behind you.
"Our orders are to interrogate him, not to take care of him"
"Indeed, but he is still bleeding" You showed the blood on your fingers to Jason.
"I'd hate to tell the boss we had Sam Winchester on our hands but lost him because you couldn't do a simple tourniquet. Wouldn't you, Jason." You let the words burn into him with as much poison as you could. He looked down to his feet in embarrassment.
"Yes ma'am. That would be bad" Satisfied with his answer, you closed the lid of the trunk again, giving Sam one last look.
"Good. And Jason? Next time you talk back to me, you are going to be sent back to the desk job you came from in the first place." He perked up an eyebrow at your threat, but didn’t say anything, as he shouldn’t. The punishment for talking back to your superiors wasn’t much better than what Sam was going through right now.
"Amazing. Now get back in the car" you said, and did so yourself, slamming the driver's door shut behind you. If you did this job right, you might even be allowed to stay in London for good, and you sure as hell were not going to let anyone mess it up.
xx
The infirmary looked exactly like one you'd see on a history movie about World War II, and probably dated back to that time, you realized. The white walls were chipped and cracked in lots of points, and most of the black metal beds and old mattresses were broken, ripped or rusty. You couldn't believe it. You knew the American Men of Letters had all been murdered by a knight of hell and the facilities deactivated, but actually seeing the effect that it had was a whole different thing.
You and Jason half dragged half carried a sweaty feverish Sam to one of the few remaining beds, next to a metal tray that was filled with all sorts of brand new medical equipment and provided a massive contrast to the rest of the room.
"Alright, here we are." Jason said, and practically dumped Sam on the bed, what was rewarded by another pained moan. You rolled your eyes in annoyance.
"I don't understand why you brought all that stuff instead of using a simple healing spell in the first place" He said, gesturing towards the tray. You shrugged.
"Spells were never really my thing" and I grew up doing things this way, you didn't add. Men of letters weren't really fans of your past, and certainly didn't treat you well when they knew about it. The less Jason knew, the better. Even if you were sort of friends.
"I just meant-"
"I know what you meant. It's okay. Go see if Toni needs help getting the interrogation room ready" You said, dismissively.
"Alright" you heard him sigh deeply behind you before his footsteps started getting farther and farther away. Whatever it was going on with him, you surely weren't going to deal with it right now. You needed to fix Sam's leg before it was too late. Speaking of which...
You turned back to face him. Sam was laying on his left side, his legs still hanging out of the bed. Here on the bright lights of the hospital, you could see his skin was really pale. It had taken you almost a day to get to him, and he had been bleeding the entire time. It was a miracle he was still alive. He probably wouldn't be if he was any shorter.
You softly propped his legs up to the bed, helping him to lay on his back so that he could stretch them out fully.
"Alright, let's get this started" you said, more to yourself than him, as you turned to face the metal tray on your right. Bandages, alcohol, scissors... yep. All you needed was there. Your fingers brushed against the pair of handcuffs on the side.
You picked them up, and turned back to him. Only now you realized he had been watching you the entire time. Analyzing you so intensely you were sure your cheeks had started to redden.
"I'm going to remove your gag. If you start screaming I'm going to put it back. Do you understand?" he nodded, frowning a bit. You smiled.
"Not what you were expecting, Hun?" You said, removing the gag and quickly tying it to your arm. No way you were going to be that careless and leave it near him.
He didn't reply. Instead, he just kept on staring at you as if you were a puzzle, what was actually starting to get pretty uncomfortable.
"Do I need to cuff you?" You asked, raising the handcuffs. "I would rather not because you are hurt, but I will if I have to". It was an obvious question. You knew he'd say no. They all did. But you had learned to see it on their eyes wether they meant it or not.
"Does it matter?" His voice was hoarse because of the gag, but still much softer than you expected it to be. "You'll just do it anyway" he shrugged. Well, he was smart.
It could be a trick to make you want to prove him wrong and not do it, so he could get you later. There was no trace of that on his eyes, though. He just looked... tired.
"Maybe" you said, attaching the cuffs to the belt holder of your jeans, and turned to the tray so that you could grab the scissors.
"I'm going to have to cut through your jeans to get to the wound" You said, not really waiting for a reply, before pressing the scissors against his pants just above his feet, and cutting them up until the tourniquet. You repeated the process on the other side, and then cut both parts off.
The skin underneath wasn't all bad but it didn't look good either. The small hole where the bullet had hit the skin was red, and a soft trail of blood was coming from it. The area around it was in several shades of purple, and of course, two times the size it should be.
"How is it?" He asked, concern clear on his voice after seeing the look on your face.
"Seen worse" you said, and began pressing the skin around his knee going up towards the wound, until he hissed as you did it a little below the purple swollen area. There wasn’t much muscle damage, what meant it probably wasn’t infected. The bruises apparently had formed from being tied up to the back of a car.
"Did Toni get the bullet out?" You asked, turning away from him, and pulling out a few bandages, a needle and sewing material. It was her first time shooting someone, and you weren’t sure if she had bothered to do that. Not when he was one of the bad guys.
"yeah" he replied. Definitely not infected then.
"Good, then you'll be fine. I'll just stitch you up and give you some pain meds" You placed the bandage by his side, and turned back to grab a large vaccine and a small container. You began filling it with the pain killers. Sam snorted.
"What is it?" you asked, applying some alcohol to a bandage and wiping it on his arm.
"Nothing. You just remind me of someone" The smile on his face died out soon as the words left his mouth. You offered a sympathetic smile.
"I'm sorry about your brother" you said, sinking the needle on his arm. You never got to meet Dean personally, but you had done enough research on both of them to know they were pretty close.
"me too" he said, wether to himself or you you weren't sure. It didn't matter though. Soon as those analgesics kicked in he would be falling asleep.
You moved down to his leg, and poured a generous amount of alcohol over the bullet wound. You took another one of the bandages and wiped the remaining blood and alcohol that were trickling down from it, before starting to sew it up.
"you're good at this" Sam commented, when you were halfway through it.
"Thanks. I have a lot of experience"
"is that why you didn't want to use the spells earlier?" you looked up at him. He was fighting to keep his eyelids open, to stay allert and see exactly what you were doing to him. First rule of hunting, don't trust anyone. But it was still amazing he was managing to fight it.
"Maybe. Spells were never my thing. They're useful and help a lot in most situations, but they are not..."
"human?" his eyes were fully closed now. He probably wouldn't remember any of it in the morning.
"yeah, they're not." You finished sewing the wound, and picked up the scissors to cut the remaining of the line, before applying some more alcohol and reaching for some bandages to keep it safe. He would be fine. Well, his leg would.
You picked the cuffs from your jeans and attached one on his left wrist and the other end to the bed. He might be tired and hurt tonight, but tomorrow he was going back to being the hunter you swore to catch.
"sleep tight, Sam. You're going to need it" you cut the tourniquet, letting the blood on his leg flow freely again, and picked up all the remaining supplies.
Tomorrow was going to be a very intense and important day for both of you. If you did it properly, interrogating him would certainly get you what you wanted back at London, and you would never have to leave home again. But then why were you cheering for the night to go slower?
You looked through the remaining beds, searching for a decent blanket, and placed it over Sam.

Pairing: Sam x Reader
Plot: This is an idea I had after seeing the sneak peek for 12x01 .
Imagine you are one of the men of letters from London and you are responsible for the new prisoner.
Word Count:1664
Warnings: Angst. Blood. No torture-yet.
London, 2016.
There weren't many places that made you feel like home.
Sure, going on special missions all over the UK, and sometimes the world for the Men of Letters, all while staying at fancy hotels was a huge upgrade from your early life, and a really appreciated one; Not that many people had the chance to see the world as you did, and certainly didn’t have as many thrilling adventures as you had. You had fun, you couldn't deny it. Yet none of those places had made you feel like you truly belonged.
But sitting here on your office at the British Men of Letters "fugitive" division headquarters (as you liked to call it) definitely did.
It was a rainy afternoon in London, like so many others before, and a soft breeze was making it's way inside your office through the half opened window. You took a sip from the green tea in front of you, humming softly as it warmed up your insides.
Today was probably going to be a very busy day. You turned your attention towards the computer screen in front of you. A photo of two tall men- the taller one with long hair and hazel eyes, and the shorter one with freckles and bowed legs- was open, as it had been for the past few weeks. Their names were written in red letters above their heads; Not that you needed to read it to know exactly who they were.
Sam and Dean Winchester. These two hunters had caused more trouble than you could ever imagine it was possible; Aside from occasional demon deals that had brought crisis’ on the death cycles on a worldwide scale, they had also caused the apocalypse to come and pass, opened a door to purgatory and freed the leviathans, caused the Angels to fall, and the latest of their misadventures: Freeing the darkness.
The Men of Letters had been on their trail for years, or rather, your division had. You had been about to give up when they were dumb enough to break into one of the abandoned bunkers of the American Men of Letters divison, but by then your boss had commanded, ordered, really, you and your squad not to do anything.
He believed that through all the bad they did, there was some good as well. And they needed to keep doing it. But releasing the darkness had been the last nail to the coffin.
Which was why you had sent one of your best agents to bring them into custody and back to London a couple days ago- already time enough to reach the bunker and take them in. But you had yet to hear back from her, what was beginning to worry you. If those two had done anything to Toni-
As if on cue, the phone started ringing, pulling you from your thoughts. You picked it up on instinct.
"Men of letters special mission division."
"Y/n. It has been awhile" A male voice echoed through the phone, causing you to sit up straight.
"Sir. To what do I owe the pleasure of this call?" Your heart raced. Your boss never called unless he had bad news to deliver. Your stomach turned.
" It's always business with you, Hun? Very well. Your special agent has managed to catch one of the Winchester brothers. Alive." You felt yourself smile. She did it!
"What happened to the other one?"
"Prisoner claims he's dead." He informed, coldly. "We will interrogate him to see if that is the truth"
"That's great, sir! When is she coming back to the base with the prisoner?" After all this time looking for them, you couldn’t wait to see him with your own eyes.
"That is what I'm calling you about; she's not. It seems there was conflict while arresting Sam Winchester, which caused him to be shot on the leg. As such we can't fly him back here without rising suspicion. Not to mention there was an angel with him when he was found. We need to get him to a warded place that not the bunker he was found in as soon as possible." You nodded.
"I understand. The American men of letters have several protected bunkers across the country. He should be taken to one of those" You said, being careful not to sound like it was an order, or too obvious. He should know this. You didn't understand what he was getting at.
"yes, he is on his way to a bunker in Louisiana. One that was used for angel experiments before it was deactivated. But with his brother most likely still out there and the Angel on the loose, we can't take any risks" You agreed. The Winchesters were dangerous, and would definitely be set on getting revenge if they could.
"I agree, sir. But why are you telling me this?" you heard him sigh uncomfortably on the other side of the phone.
"Y/n, you are the best of your division. No one has worked half as hard as you to get where you got, despite having brighter backgrounds." You frowned. Wait. Was he saying what you thought he was?
"That determination and loyalty to the cause is the reason why I nominated you the leader of the division in the first place. I want you to fly to America as soon as possible and watch the prisoner yourself."

"Okay, look. I want a big funeral." Dean said, looking around to all his friends and family.
"All right? I'm talking epic. Okay? Open bar, choir, Sabbath cover band, and Gary Busey reading the eulogy." He said it so casually, as if it was no big deal.. As if he wasn't going to die. As if he wasn't going to explode himself to kill the darkness, tear his soul into a million pieces. And there was no coming back from that.
"Done" Sam said, fighting the tears that were threatening to fall. He had to stay strong for Dean. At least this one time.
"And for my ashes, I'd like it here". Dean turned around, taking in the environment around him one last time. He glanced at his mom’s thumbstone and smiled.
"Yeah. As far as resting places go" Dean pulled the impala's keys from his pocket, and turned back to face his brother for the last time. Sam clenched his jaw.
"Come on. You know the drill. No chick flick moments" Dean smiled at him, his own eyes filled with tears, but also with a peace Sam hadn't seen in a very long time. A few years ago it had been him in that exact same position. It was why he intended to respect his brother's wishes, regardless of how much it hurt. He cleared his throat to avoid the tears.
"You love chick flicks" Dean chuckled, glad Sam had played along.
"Yeah you're right I do, come here" he tightened his arms around Sam, both letting a few tears out in the process. This was it. It was how the Winchesters' story ended. Dean let go.
"Alright let's do this". Sam forced himself to stay still as his brother walked back to Chuck, and one second later he was gone.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam slowly opened his eyes, only to realize everything was pitch black. And wherever he was, it was moving. Where...?
He tried to move his right leg to adjust his position and a sharp white spark coursed it's way through his brain, making him moan in pain, only to realize the noise was muffled by a gag on his mouth.
He tried to reach for it instinctively, but his arms were tied behind his back. Panic started rising on the bottom of his stomach.
Alright. Alright. alright. You're fine. You're fine. You're gonna be okay. He forced himself to take deep breaths and closed his eyes, letting a few pained tears roll down his cheeks.
How did he end up here? He remembered they had a plan to kill the darkness. Dean absorbed a million souls and he was going after her. Dean... was dead. He fought a new set of tears who threatened to roll down his eyes. Focus, Sam. What else?
He had gone home with Cas, and Cas had been banished by a woman. She was a woman of letters. Toni...? She threatened to shoot him, and then... Judging by the pain on his leg she actually had. Dammit.
He didn't know what the men of letters wanted with him and his brother but he was sure he didn't want to find out. He had to get out of here.
He started pulling at his restrains, noticing his legs were tied together as well. His jeans were soaked in blood, and he could feel more flowing out of his leg, what only made him fight harder. Nothing. They were too tight.
The car was brought to a complete stop, but the engine wasn’t turned off. He didn't know how long this trip was going to take but he was sure he didn't have that long. He needed a new plan. Fast.
He heard doors being opened, and slammed shut as people got out of the car. One of them was a woman, given by the noise of heels hitting against asphalt. Probably Toni. The people made it's way around the car to where he was being kept. No.
The lid of the trunk was opened, flooding it with daylight. He blinked to adjust his vision, and pushed himself as far away from it as far as he could.
A woman and a men were standing in front of him. The man held his arms behind his back, respectfully, but his eyes were still focused on Sam. The woman had a soft smile on her lips. She was the first one to speak.
"Sam Winchester. I'm sergeant Y/N Y/L/N. I am the one responsible for you while you are under the custody of the men of letters."

The devil in details - part 2
Sequel to “Oh Brother Where Are Thou” And “The Devil In Details”
Warnings: Descriptions of violence. Cursing
Word count: 3304 (.) Enjoy!
“So you see, Sam. I think you should say yes” Lucifer was leaning softly against one of the sides of the cage. He seemed pretty laid back, as if they were just having a friendly conversation. But Sam was no idiot. He had been through this before.
“Yeah? Why would I even do that? Give me one good reason” A flicker of interest spiked on Lucifer’s eyes. Good. If he could keep the devil thinking his plan was working, he could buy himself some time. But for what, exactly?
“As you wish" Lucifer snapped his fingers, and the darkness of the cage was replaced by broad dailight.
He was standing on a field with large trees - that was the first thing he noticed. Sam turned around to try identifying the place, only to realize a tall hedge blocked his vision. On the sides, people jogged by through a cement path. They seemed to be at a park. He frowned.
“What are we doing here?” He glanced over at lucifer, who was clearly enjoying to watch his confusion.
“Oh come on, Sam. May 25th, 2000? You remember it, we’re in your head. And that stud right there” He tilted his head forward, to a park table with two teenagers talking, that surely wasn’t there before.
“Is you” His eyes widdened at his 17 year old self.
“Have you ever heard of a chupacabra?” The girl shook her head slightly.
“No? Well, that’s probably a good thing. My dad took me and my brother on a trip to Mexico recently, and…” He did remember this. Remembered her blue eyes, and pants that matched the shirt. And how Dean praised him for days after he told him.
“Why are you showing me-”
“AH AH AH, HERE COMES THE BEST PART!” Lucifer cut him off, making him turn his attention back to the scene in front of them.
“Sam, I didn’t bring you here to study” He almost snorted at his own confused face. He felt bad for not remembering her name. Back then, it meant a lot.
“You… didn’t?” She shook her head again, the smile never leaving her lips.
“I-I mean. I just think you’re smart, and funny, and cute” His teen self smiled awkwardly at the compliment.
“So… I mean, if you wanna make out” It was all that it took for him to lock his lips with hers.
“BOOM! THATS IT!” Lucifer jumped from the bench, celebrating watch happened as if his football team had won SuperBowl. Sam perked his eyebrow.
“A kiss?”
“What? No, Sam. This is the you that I remember. Bold, decided. The one that stopped the apocalypse. Now?” Lucifer snapped his fingers again, and the scene changed.
This time, they were at a place he knew all too well; The bunker’s library. He watched as you tried to reach something from the highest shelf.
“Ugh, goddamit. This is what I get for living with a giant” You mumbled to yourself, making him smile. The green elastic that kept your hair on a ponytail was almost falling off, and you let out curses every time you jumped to try to reach the book, but none of that made you any less beautiful.
You hopped a few more times, almost touching the book, but not quite there yet. You glanced over to the two-chair table near you, then to the door, as if not wanting to get caught.
You pushed the table a few centimeters closer to the bookshelf, before climbing on top of it.
“Uh, Y/n? What are you doing?” He heard himself ask, as he walked inside the room, a puzzled look on his face.
“Trying to reach a book” You replied, and leaned over, balancing yourself by placing both your hands on the sides of the bookshelf, so you wouldn’t fall.
He moved closer, shaking his head in disbelief.
“What? Too short to reach it on your own?”
“You’re hilarious” You said, so sarcastically anyone else would be pissed. But Sam wasn’t anyone else. Deciding you were stable enough, you decided to place one of your feet in an empty space on the shelf , and then the other. The bookshelf shook slightly when you pulled yourself up, but you ignored it. The book you wanted was in front of your eyes now.
“Y/N? You should come down” He said, worriedly, as the shelf shook some more.
“Almost there” You stretched your left arm, grabbing the book and pulling it out.
It was almost instant. The weight change was too big, and the shelf you were standing on gave in under your feet, sending you to the floor.
“Y/N!” Sam screamed. You closed your eyes, not wanting to see yourself fall. You felt your back connect against something much softer than what the ground should be. Sam let out a disgrunted noise.
Opening your eyes, you realized you were laying on his arms.
“I got you” He said, soothingly. You opened your mouth to reply, but no words came out, because you were too close to his lips. And his eyes, gosh. You knew they were pretty, but this near, they looked like constellations.
You had no idea of how long you two stayed in that position, staring into each other’s eyes. In the end, he lowered you to the ground.
“Thank you” You said, breathlessly. He simply smiled.
It had been weeks, but he still remembered how it felt to hold you on his arms.
“What the hell was that, man? What happened to the Sam Winchester that wasn’t afraid?” Lucifer whined, really disappointed he didn’t go for it this time.
“I’m not a teen anymore, that’s what happened. I can’t just go and kiss every girl I see” He said, defensively.
“Except she’s not just any girl. She is Y/n, and you like her.” The devil said, so matter-of-factly it made him a bit embarrassed. He couldn’t deny it.
“So why?”
“Because… Because I don’t want her to get hurt” He had no idea why he was even explaining himself to him, but saying the words made him feel like a huge weight had been lifted from his chest.
He loved you, but he couldn’t. Not after Jess. You were the first one he truly loved after her. But even with you being a hunter, it was too risky. Besides, what if you didn’t love him back?
“Exactly. Because you are afraid to lose her. And Dean. And because you are afraid, you can’t do the right thing and say yes, even if it means the darkness will destroy the planet” Sam gritted his teeth.
The bunker faded away to darkness, and all too soon they were back in the cage. It was his turn to lean against one of the bars, and slide down until he was sitting on the ground. Even without looking up, he could feel Lucifer’s eyes on him.
“So, I understand you might need some time to think, but the world is ending. What do you say?”
Sam lifted his eyes. xx
“How much longer is this gonna take?” Dean asked, as he paced around the room. You rose your hand to your lips for the billionth time, only to realize all your nails are gone.
“We’re almost finished, deary. If your brother has made it this far, I’m sure he will be fine for a little longer” Rowena’s words were of reassurance, but she was clearly taking her time to mix the ingredients. You sighed.
Soon as she finished the spell, lucifer would be unable to leave the cage. But that still meant you’d have to go inside and get Sam out. A real fight with the devil? You weren’t sure if you were ready for that. What didn’t mean you wouldn’t do it. You just hoped everyone would come back in one piece.
“It will be fine” It took one second for you to realize Cas’ words weren’t aimed at you, but at Dean. The angel moved closer to him, and placed a hand tightly on his right shoulder, just like he had before. You wondered if there was a meaning to the gesture.
“Yeah, sure. We just have to go inside the cage, fight the devil himself, and walk out with Sam. I’m sure we will be fine” Dean said, sarcastically. He’d do everything for his little brother, but he wasn’t all that sure he would be able to make it this time. The idea of leaving Sam in hell with Lucifer after everything that happened to him…
Cas’ grip on his shoulder tightened, almost painfully.
“Dean” He found himself staring at the angel’s blue eyes before he could stop himself.
“It will be fine. We can do this.” And that was it and he felt himself relax, even if slightly, the second Cas said those words.
“Yeah, okay” He didn’t know what it was between them, but he always trusted Cas instantly, even if he didn’t trust anyone but himself most times. It was as if Cas knew him better than he knew himself, what actually freaked him out a lot.
He nodded in agreement, and Cas released his grip.
“Ugh. No, stop it!” The screams were followed by metal noises. He’d know that voice anywhere.
“SAM!” Dean darted through the room, you and Cas right behind him. xx
The world spun violently around him, and he could feel the blood flowing down his face. Sam tried to get up, but he was struck against his jaw one more time.
“Now, let’s try this again. You will say yes, or I will make our sessions from five years ago seem like a joke” Lucifer smiled through every word, but the rage wasclear on his voice.
Sam crawled away as much as he could to the corner, waiting for whatever would come next.
“Hey, assbutt!” Cas screamed, outside. Lucifer turned away from him, completely interested on his new toys.
“Get away from him!” It was more of a panicked scream than an order, but you didn’t know how to help.
“Y/n Y/L/N! We were just talking about you” Your eyes went wide at the mention of your name. How did he…? But before you could process it, you, Dean and Cas were right inside the cage.
“Now, that’s better” Lucifer said, grinning at the three or you. It would have been much scarier, if you weren’t so worried about Sam puking blood on the floor.
He was squirming on the corner, almost bending in half. You wanted to reach out to him, but couldn’t. Not with Lucifer standing halfway through. Then we get rid of him, you thought, as simply as you’d have if he was any other monster.
You reached for the demon knife on your pocket, before taking a step forward. You heard the metalic sound of Cas pulling out his angel sword as well.
“Ah ah. Why the hurry? Moments like this, it’s all about ambience” He snapped his fingers, and all the sudden the room was filled with music
Heaven, must be missing an angel…
He started swinging his arms and legs to the sound, dancing. You, Dean and Cas exchanged confused glances. What the hell was going on? Cas was the first to attack, aiming for his heart, but Satan grabbed his arm.
It was Dean’s turn to step forward, and swing at him a couple times. You doubted the blows were doing any damage, but he did let go of Cas, and aimed for Dean instead.
You ran to Sam, kneeling by him and placing both hands on his face to check his injuries. They weren’t too deep. You let out a breath you didn’t know you had been holding.
“Y/n, I’m sorry.” He apologized, voice filled with guilt. “It was the spell, I didn’t mean to-”
“Shh” You ran your hand through his forehead, brushing some hair off his face. “It’s okay. I forgive you.” You were in a cage with the devil and most likely about to die, but he still smiled at you. You pushed yourself back to your feet.
“Come on. Let’s get you out of here” You had your back turned to the fight, but it didn’t exactly take a genious to know it wasn’t going that well. You stretched an arm out to Sam.
“We can’t win” He stated, but let you help him to his feet. It was more than just a bad thought. He knew you couldn’t. Had tried to before. You shook your head negatively.
“We don’t have to win. We just have to buy ourselves time”
xx
The fist connected with Dean’s face with such strength it was impressive it didn’t break anything. Dean stumbled backwards, but Sam quickly grabbed him, preventing him from falling. Cas wasn’t much better, a trail of blood flowing down his bottom lip.
“well well, Sam Winchester, the boy with the demon blood finally joins the battle.” Lucifer mocked, spreading out his arms as if inviting Sam to punch him “This is going to be good”
“You bet it will” You covered the small distance between you two, taking him by surprise and shoving the demon knife inside his left shoulder as deep as it could go.
Blood started flowing out of the wound endlessly. But he didn’t seem to mind. Instead, he just pouted.
“The shirt was new!” He moved his arm to the side, and that was all it took to send you flying against the metal bars. There was a cracking sound, and all the air was immediately expelled from your lungs. You groaned, struggling to breathe.
The boys seemed to take the hint, because they struck at once, one holding Lucifer down, while the other threw punches.
“You hit like a human” he said, getting rid of Sam’s hold on him like it was nothing, and punching Dean again.
“Well, I don’t” Cas said, catching him off guard and attacking him with the Angel blade. Lucifer dodged it, the attack missing his head for an inch.
“Not bad, brother. But I’m an archangel” When Cas tried again, he was ready. He gripped Cas’ hand, squeezing it so tight you heard the bones crack. Cas screamed, dropping the blade, which Lucifer kicked back, away from him.
“Now, what do I do with you? Blow you up, like last time?” He tightened his grip on Cas, holding him in place.
“I guess it would be fitting. Since you yourself think you shouldn’t have walked out of there anyways” Even with only one hand, Lucifer was strong enough to hold Cas. He held his left hand up dramatically, as if showing everyone he was going to snap his fingers. No. No.
You forced yourself to your feet, doing your best to ignore the intense pain coming from your side, and threw your body against Lucifer’s, making him drop Cas. The force of the impact made you fall again, and you weren’t sure you’d be able to get up.
“Well, if not the Angel, then the girl. Sam didn’t have the balls to get you anyways” He joked, but the hatred was clear on his voice. He was going to kill you, you knew that much. He grabbed you by your throat, forcing you to your feet.
Every part of your body hurt like a truck had ran over you at the sudden moviment. Black dots danced across your vision. Can’t. Breathe…
But Dean was faster. He pushed you out of Lucifer’s way, and Lucifer held him by the throat instead. A broken noise made its way past your lips.
“Now, this is how it’s going to go” Lucifer held Dean up like he was made of paper, not even bothered by his struggle to break free. He turned to Sam.
“You are going to say yes to me, or your brother dies” He must have tightened the grip because Dean grunted and dropped his hands, unable to keep fighting.
“So? What is it gonna be? I mean, I’m sure he doesn’t have much time-” But it was Cas’ turn to strike. With one movement, he made a gash so large on Lucifer’s arm, you could see the grace underneath.
He screamed, dropping Dean, who crawled over to where you and Sam were, before collapsing.
He kicked Cas, throwing him on a corner, his face filled with blood. Lucifer placed his feet on his broken fingers.
“Any last words?” But as soon as he said that, the room was filled with an intense white light. You closed your eyes, not being able to take it.
By the time the light was gone, it was only you, Sam, Desn and Cas in the cage. It worked, you thought to yourself. Rowena’s spell worked.
xx
You grunted, letting yourself fall against the seat cushions of the impala. The adrenaline of the fight might have helped you, but you were pretty sure at least one of your ribs was cracked. Fuck my life.
“Hey” Sam said, sliding on the seat right next to you. You rested your head on his thigh.
“Hey. How are you holding up?”
“You have a cracked rib, and you’re asking me how I’m holding up?” Sam sounded amused. Your lips curved up.
“What? Just because I’m dying-”
“Don’t say that” he cut you, his tone serious. You understood; It wasn’t right to joke about it. Not after so many close calls.
“You’re right. I’m sorry” He seemed to acknowledge your apology, and rested a hand on your hair, pulling it softly.
Sam’s gaze fell on the window outside, even though baby wasn’t moving yet. Too many bad things- more thank you knew, hid behind those hazel eyes. Some were his own fault. And whenever he did this, it was as if he was considering wether or not the good he did made up for the rest.
“Back there, before you and Dean and Cas arrived, Lucifer said things.” His voice was low, and his eyes were still glued to the window. You weren’t completely sure if he was talking to you.
“And back there I didn’t believe them. I mean, it’s the devil. He lies. But now, I’m not so sure…” You tilted your head slightly.
“What did he say?”
“He said he could beat Amara if he possessed me… And that I was afraid to do the right thing.” Sam’s expression shifted, as if he was considering what to tell you.
“What if he was right? What if he could actually end her, but I was too much of a coward to say yes?” There was pure pain on his face for a few seconds, before he looked down at you. You shrugged.
“Nah, I don’t think so.” He waited for you to complete your sentence. He looked puzzled when you didn’t.
“That’s it? Why?” You crossed your legs and squinted your eyes, as if giving it deep thought.
“For one, because it took three archangels and God himself to do it last time. Of course lucifer can’t do it alone” He considered your words.
“And you’re not a coward, Sam. You saved the world, and so many other people. You’re a hero. Anyone would be crazy to say otherwise.”
“Is that what you really think?” His voice was filled with disbelief. You nodded.
“yeah, it is”
When he was about to reply, Dean opened the door of the front seat, letting out a relieved breath.
“Glad to see you two are getting comfortable” He said, looking back at you and Sam. You frowned when the other door didn’t open.
“Where’s Cas?” Dean looked sad for a few seconds.
“He said he’d catch up with us later. Let’s go” He shifted the key in the ignition and the impala came to life, vibrating softly underneath you, as if rocking you gently to sleep. And you were more than happy to oblige.

The impala growled furiously as you and Dean made your way to Keyport, Indiana. Everything was a blur of green, and an occasional sign about the speed limit (that Dean was clearly ignoring) as you glanced through the window. At this rate, you would probably be there soon. Good.
“So, where are we going to meet up with Cas, anyways?” You asked, turning your attention to Dean.
“A couple miles out of town. He said that the Angels are going to make a trap to try and smite her.” He sounded calm, but you knew better. He was worried about leaving Sam alone with Crowley, and he was worried about Cas.
“We’ll find him before that happens.” you assured him.
The Angels were strong, especially if many of them decided to strike together, but you were willing to bet Amara was stronger. Still, you didn’t see Cas joining the Angels on this. Not when they would all be after him if they darkness wasn’t a thing.
“How did you…?”
“Please. How long have I been hunting with you?” He rolled his eyes on fake annoyance, but didn’t fight back.
“Okay, so maybe I’m worried, but it is the friggin darkness. I don’t want him to get hurt”
“I know. But Cas is an angel. He can handle himself while we don’t get there.” Or so you hoped. He shook his head negatively.
“I know he can handle himself, but she is god’s sister. And… And this is Cas” He intensified the last word, as if trying to explain something you couldn’t quite understand. Why would Amara have any special interest on Cas? But just before you were about to ask what he meant by that, he reached for his phone on the panel.
“Here. Call him.” you sighed. Dean could be really hard to deal with sometimes. You scrolled through his contacts until reaching Cas’ name, and pressed green.
The phone rang a couple times, and you set your eyes back on the road while you waited, only to realize it was coming in and out of focus. You felt your stomach hurl. What the…?
“Dean” You called, pressing a hand tightly against your stomach. You tried to glance over at Dean, but it only increased your dizziness. He didn’t seem to be doing much better.
“H-hang on” He said, and you felt the impala start to lose speed.
But the world didn’t stop moving on waves around you, and if anything, it only got worse. Your stomach was spinning violently, and the next thing you knew, you were on the road, seeing what you had eaten for lunch.
You didn’t know how long you stayed like that, letting it all out. It felt like forever, but your stomach finally let up, and you leaned back against the impala, right next to Dean.
“What… was…?” You panted heavily, trying to regain your breath.
“It is smiting sickness” Cas, who had appeared out of nowhere, was making his way towards you both.
“Cas?” Dean called, as if he wasn’t being able to recognize his friend. The angel kneeled in front of him, pulling him by the shoulder so that he could sit up.
“Yes. It’s me.”
“Smiting sickness? Why?” You managed to ask, squeezing your eyes shut for a few seconds to see if the world would stop moving.
Cas took a little longer to answer, as he was focused on checking Dean’s eyes, and telling him to stick his tongue out.
“Because the Angels used a lot of concentrated energy to try and kill Amara” So it had already happened. Your vision and stomach seemed to have gone back to normal enoughthat you could sit up straight.
“Is she dead?” You and Dean asked, at once. He didn’t sound as happy about it, though.
“I don’t know” Cas shrugged. “I was on my way there when I sensed you two were in pain” And thank god he had. But now you needed to find out what happened with Amara.
You pushed your legs up shakily, and with Cas’ help, sat back on the car. He proceeded to do the same for Dean.
“Then let’s go. We need to get to her”
“No. If you keep going, you will die before reaching her. I will do it. I’m an angel, it doesn’t affect me.”
No way. You wanted to say it, but you felt weak, like you had just ran a marathon, and you could feel the beginning of a headache. You noticed Dean fighting not to puke again when Cas sat him on the driver’s seat.
“Okay, we’ll go check up on Sam. Cas? If she’s dead, bring her body out” He managed to say.
“And if she’s not?” A shiver coursed through your spine. Cas. All alone against the darkness itself. Dean looked deep into Cas’ blue eyes for a few seconds.
“Run”
xx
If everything had worked out well, Sam would be in the bunker, waiting for the two of you to get to him, before going to talk to lucifer. Which was why you weren’t all that sure you wanted things to have worked out.
“Sam? We’re back!” You called, following Dean down the stairs that lead to the large table of the meeting room. Usually, he’d be here as soon as you opened the door, focused on some lore book. The thought made you feel warm inside.
This time he didn’t reply, though.
“Sammy?” It was Dean’s turn to call, this time with a more worried voice. Nothing, still. All the possibilities coursed through your brain. You and Dean exchanged glances for a second, before running to the dungeon.
“SAM? WHERE ARE YOU?” You beat Dean to the room, and pushed the shelves that covered the entrance, only to realize that the place was completely empty. Crap. That meant…
“Call Crowley. Now” it was more of an order than a request, but Dean had already pulled his phone out.
The seconds dragged themselves as the phone rang, tension clear on Dean’s face. If something had happened to Sam because you didn’t warn Dean…
“Crowley! What the hell is happening? Where’s Sam?”
“Good afternoon to you too, squirrel. I regret to inform you there has been a bit of a hiccup on our plan…” the demon seemed to be choosing his words carefully, as if trying not to anger Dean.
“What does that even mean?”
“Your brother’s in hell. With lucifer.”
xx
The face Dean made already told you everything you needed to know. Sam was in trouble. Big time. You bit your bottom lip.
“ You son of a bitch!” Sam was in the cage. With lucifer. Dean started pacing around the room, trying to find a way out of the situation. He needed to get him out of there. And fast.
“Son of a witch, actually. And a very powerful one. There might be a way to help him. I’m sending someone to pick you and Y/n up and bring you to hell. We’ll talk. See ya” A beep indicated the call was over. It took everything in Dean not to slam the phone against the nearest wall.
“What happened?” You asked, preparing yourself for the worst. Dean looked at you, sadness clear on his eyes.
“Sam is in the cage” Your heart skipped a beat.
“How… how did that happen?” It couldn’t be true. He promised you he wouldn’t go in there. Why did he lie?
“I don’t know. Something went wrong with the spell, probably. DAMMIT, SAM!” He kicked the black chair Rowena was tied up to, just a few hours earlier.
“Why couldn’t he frigging wait for once?” Dean mumbled, more for himself than you, what was worse. If you hadn’t left him alone with Rowena and Crowley...
“We’ll get him back.” You promised. You had to. You couldn’t imagine what Sam was going through alone with Lucifer in the cage. Again. You shuddered at the thought.
xx
As it turned out, it wasn’t a demon that Crowley sent to get you both, but a reaper. She lead you two to a storage house, and then through a portal to hell, where there was noting but a huge staircase. Reapers working with demons. The world was really ending.
“Are you okay?” You asked Dean, who had stopped at the edge of the stairs. You’d understand if he was afraid. You were. After all, this was hell. And besides, Sam had told you Dean spent some time down here before.
“Yeah. Just a second” He tried to smile at you, but you didn’t miss the way he clenched his jaw.
xx
You and Dean walked down through the endless stairs, until finally reaching a large chamber. Candles lit up the room, and fire prickled softly from a fireplace attached to the left wall. There was another door too, exactly in the same place as the one you had come from, but on the opposite wall.
By the fireplace, a thin, but long table spread itself, in front of a chair that could only be Crowley’s throne, because he was watching you and Dean from on it. The table was filled with all sorts of magical ingredients, and working with the ingredients, there was Rowena.
Two demons in suits stood by the entrance, and gave you hateful glances as you passed. Just a reminder Crowley was the only thing allowing you both to stand here right now in one piece. You pushed the thoughts aside.
“Hello boys. And girl” He added, as you and Dean approached the table.
“We’re here, Crowley. Now, where’s Sam?” You really weren’t in the mood for his jokes.
“Ah, of course. The lovely y/n wants to save her Prince Charming” You rolled your eyes at the joke, but couldn’t hide the blush on your cheeks. Crowley grinned.
“Fergus, please. No one has time for your stupid jokes.” Rowena started, visibly annoyed that she was being forced to do this. “Just tell them what they want to hear”
“Sam is in the cage. Right beyond that door” He pointed at the door you had noticed before, but he was no longer smiling.
“Okay, great. What’s the plan then?” Dean asked, seeming eager to go and rescue his brother. You agreed with that. Even though you were still hurt he broke his promise to you.
“The spell she’s working on, it will keep lucifer in the cage, while you go and rescue Sam. Unless he says yes”
“What will happen then?” You asked.
“Then lucifer will be anchored to earth. He’ll be able to get off the cage.” Lucifer walking the earth in Sam’s body.
“That wont happen. Sam’s strong” Dean must have noticed the look on your face, because he was looking at you when he said this.
“Well, I sure hope he is, because the spell needs more time to be completed” Rowena said, adding what seemed to be nails to the mixture.
“He is.” You reassured yourself. But that didn’t mean you could hide what happened from Dean.
“Dean, there’s something I need to tell you…” He frowned. This was not going to be pretty.
“When you asked Sam to wait for us to come back, I knew he wouldn’t. I saw it on his eyes. I should have told you. I should have stayed with him to make sure he would be okay. I’m sorry.” You looked down, at the table, unable to hold his gaze.
And now, if lucifer got him, you’d never be able to tell him how you really felt.
“Y/n. Look at me.” Dean said, softly. You forced yourself to look up, wiping away a few tears from your eyes.
“None of this. None of it, is your fault. Okay?”
“But I-”
“I know my brother. Sam is too stubborn, and if he gets something on his head, god help me, but no one can get in his way. Not even me” You smiled. You knew it was true. That was one of the things you loved about Sam.
He placed his hand on your shoulder.
“There’s nothing you could have done, even if you were here. It’s okay” More tears clouded your vision.
“Dean, I-”
“AAAAAAAAAAH” Cas’ scream eachoed through the room, as he landed a few feet away from you. You and Dean both immediately ran to him, helping him get up.
“Cas, what happened?” You asked. His trenchcoat was covered in dirt, and there were bruises on his face.
The Angel winced as he walked, leaning against the table Rowena was working on. Even Crowley had gotten up.
“It’s the darkness. She has a message” he proceeded to remove his tie and unbutton his shirt. Your eyes went wide, because carved on his chest there was a message.
I AM COMING

this was getting too long. I’ll finish this episode next chapter! I apologize for the lack of Sam X reader interaction.
O Brother Where Are Thou?

Warnings: The fic will be a season 11 AU, following the story somewhat. *BUT* there will be some gradual changes as the imagine progresses. No warnings for now.

“No, this is not happening”
“Y/n, I-”
“No, Sam. We are not gonna get you back in the cage” You folded your arms on your chest. You have had this discussion before. Many times. Ever since he told you and Dean about the visions.
Just because Sam thought God was telling him about the cage, it didn’t mean he should jump right into it. Especially since there was no proof that it was actually god sending him the visions.
“I agree with Y/n here, Sam” Dean said, moving slightly so he could stand next to you. “This is too risky.”
“I know it’s risky, guys. Okay? I do. But if God is sending me this visions, I can’t just ignore them. Not when they’re the only lead we have on how to beat the darkness” Dean shook his head.
“You don’t know that, Sam. And as far as we are concerned, there is always another way”
“Yeah? Then what is it, Dean? Because while we’re here wasting time on these books, she is out there, murdering people” He gestured to the door while saying the words. An awkward silence settled in the room.
Dean did have a point. On this time you have spent with them, and even before it, ever since things seemed to be lost, the Winchesters found a way. But Sam did too. Amara was out there, and God only knew what was her plan.
A shiver coursed through your spine when you remembered the time you saw her in hell. She was only a teenager then, but you knew she was powerful- too powerful. There was probably not much that could defeat her. And if Sam did actually have a lead…
“Okay.” You heard yourself saying. Sam and Dean both shot their heads towards you.
“What?” Sam was the first to ask, not seeming to believe your words.
“Let’s do it. You said it yourself, people are dying. And God only knows when, or if we’ll find another way.” You avoided the look of betrayal in Dean’s eyes.
“Fine. But only if we have a way to keep Sam safe” Dean said, unwillingly. You agreed completely.
“Yeah. I agree Sam hould talk to lucifer, and I will help you to do so. But only if you promise me you’re not gonna step foot on the cage” You locked your eyes with his.
Sam was really intelligent, and the years on the hunt also made sure he could lie very easily when necessary. Had done so many times. But he was also honest with the people he loved. Especially now, that he decided he and Dean needed to change. He was going to tell you the truth.
His eyes stayed on yours for a few more seconds, as if he was reading your thoughts. In the end, he opened his mouth.
“I promise”
xx
It was a cold night, cold enough to leave some snow on the road. Dean had called Crowley, who said he’d be here soon. You pulled your jacket closer.
“Here” Sam said, softly. When you turned to him, he was sliding his jacket off his arms, revealing the muscles underneath.
“Oh, you don’t have to. You’re gonna get cold” You protested, as he wrapped the jacket around your arms.
“ It’s okay. Besides, you’re freezing” You couldn’t exactly argue with that. Not when your teeth were clattering. He was too tall, and the jacket felt like a warm blanket around your upper body.
“Thanks” You smiled at him, hoping he didn’t notice the redness of your cheeks.
“Oh what’s that, moose? Found yourself a mate in the lovely Y/n?” Crowley appeared in front of you both, looking surprised. You cringed at the compliment.
“Cut the crap, Crowley. You know why we’re here” You replied.
“Why, yes, of course. You wanted to know if there’s a way to talk to lucifer in the cage” The surprise faded from his eyes, turning into wariness. He looked between you three cautiously.
“Can we?” Dean asked.
“Perhaps. But any of you care telling me why in hell would I allow such thing?” He intensified the words, to sound more menacing. Dean just rolled his eyes.
“I have been having visions. Visions that show that Lucifer is the only one who can help us beat Amara” Sam stepped forward. There was a little more than what was actually true in that sentence, but it sounded convincing enough. Crowley nodded.
“I see. And just who is sending you those… visions?” You and Sam eyed each other, wondering if it was really a good idea to tell him everything.
“God is. The first one happened when I asked for His help” Sam said, as firmly as he could.
The only sound was one of the fire pricking from a barrel next to a sleeping homeless man. Crowley tightened his eyes, as if considering what he just heard.
“The Darkness is a threat to all of us. She is gonna kill you, and me, and everyone else that stands in her way. You know that. Let us try to stop her” His gaze fell on Dean, as he processed his words. He shrugged.
“Fair enough. But first, we need to go get someone who can actually reach lucifer” You frowned.
“You’re the king of hell. Why can’t you?”
“The cage was designed by God himself; I don’t have the key. But we might still be able to reach him”
“How?” A smile crossed his lips.
xx
“This is simply outrageous! FERGUS! I demand you let me go!” Rowena’s chains rattled as she was dragged into the room.
“You can’t demand anything, mother. I am the king here” Crowley couldn’t hide his happiness at her annoyance, watching as she was tied to a chair.
“Oh, please. What kind of King invites his enemies right into his kingdom?” She rose her right arm as much as the chains allowed to point to you, Dean and Sam, standing on the opposite side of the room.
“The kind who have much bigger fish to fry” Dean informed her, leaning on the table.
“Oh, I see. I assume this has something to do with “the darkness”?” She stretched her accent on the last two words, to make them sound more dramatic. You forced yourself not to groan.
“Yes. It is going to destroy everything and everyone unless we can stop it” Dean sounded calm, but his foot tapped softly against the chair.
“And I assume you troglodytes believe I have a way to stop it?”
“You don’t. But the book of the damned does” It was Sam’s turn to approach the table, holding his laptop open with the codex that Charlie was able to crack. Charlie. Your heart ached at the thought.
“We were hoping you could translate the spell” A smile perked up Rowena’s lips.
“And what is that spell for, may I ask?” Tension was clear in the room. You took a deep breath.
“To talk to Lucifer” You said, simply. Rowena’s eyes lit up with interest.
“I suppose I could actually go through the effort.” She shrugged, classy as ever, but eagerly took the laptop from Sam. “Fergus can bring me the book and the ingredients”
Crowley didn’t seem to have enjoyed the idea, but he didn’t say anything. He’s probably planning ways to make her suffer, you thought.
“Alright, so let’s get this star-” Dean’s sentence was interrupted by his cellphone ringing. He dug on his Jeans’ pocket for a bit, before finding it.
“Cas. Wha- hey hey slow down” There was worry on his voice. Uh oh.
“Alright. Stay where you are, I’ll be right there” Dean’s face was unreadable when he turned the phone off. He looked at you and Sam.
“Cas says he found Amara. The Angels won’t stop mentioning her on angel radio.” Your heart skipped a beat.
“Okay. And?”
“And he wants my help so we see if we can find her first” He said. Dean near Amara. You shuddered at the idea.
That time you saw her in hell, Dean and you had gotten separated from Sam. She flung you to the wall and held you there the second you walked inside the room, but it was different with Dean. She started talking to him. And even though he did fight back eventually, you could tell there was something off. Like she had some kind of control over him.
He didn’t let you tell Sam about it, and you were willing to bet he didn’t tell Cas either. Something about the whole thing was bothering you; You knew you couldn’t let him go after her alone.
“I’ll go with you” You said, and gave him a look that could only mean you “would tell Sam everything if he started talking”, as soon as he started to protest.
“Fine” he practically groaned, trying to hide his annoyance.
“Great. And I’ll stay right here. Watch her as she translates the spell” If Sam had noticed what happened between you two, he didn’t show. In fact, he seemed too calm about the whole thing.
“Okay. Don’t do anything until we come back” Dean told him, not bothering to wait for a reply. Sam looked at you the second Dean turned.
You knew right then he wasn’t going to wait. Not with what was at risk. And he seemed to be aware that you knew, because he was giving you the “puppy eyes”. Begging you not to tell Dean.
You didn’t want to. You didn’t trust Crowley. You wanted to take Sam with you, then come back to do this later. But leaving Rowena alone with the book was too damn risky. You took a deep breath, before nodding so shortly you weren’t sure Sam had caught it.
You just had to come back before she finished translating it. Or, at least, you hoped you would.
“Be careful” It was more of a request than a warning. You covered the short distance between you two and wrapped your arms around his neck
“I will be” he promised, pressing you tight against his chest. xx
Part II will be up soon!

Award Night
The car stopped by one of the large sets inside Warner’s studios in Vancouver. You stretched yourself lazily on the backseat, before opening the door and waving the driver goodbye.
It wasn’t your first day working on the show, so you knew exactly where to go. It was the beginning of January, the first day after the winter break. It was a cloudy day, and the wind played with your hair. You pulled your coat closer.
“Good morning” There were a few crew members walking by, carrying some props. They looked busy, but it was nice of them to stop by you.
“Morning” you answered, as they walked by. You knew today was going to be a very busy day for you as well. People’s Choice Awards was the day after, and you, Jensen and Misha were nominated. You weren’t going to go at first, but the CW bosses decided it was a good idea to promote the show, what meant you’d have to miss one day of shooting.
What meant you’d be expected to cover as many of your scenes as possible today. You groaned. You just couldn’t understand why they didn’t schedule production to start two days from now. It would be a lot easier.
You had finally reached a black and white trailer, with a paper sign by the door that read “makeup”. You pulled the door open and walked inside, loving the sudden warmth.
The trailer was empty, aside from you, the makeup girls and Jared. He seemed to be focused on his cellphone, so much that he didn’t even notice you were there, as one of them combed his hair.
“Hey Y/n” The other greeted you with a smile on her lips.
“Hey April” you smiled back, sitting on your usual chair (one of the perks of being on the show for two years) one chair away from Jared, as she walked over to you.
“So, any good news?” You shrugged.
“Aside from having to come here only to leave again tonight?” She snorted, what actually caught Jared’s attention and made him turn.
“Y/n!” his eyes widened, and he shifted on the chair, making the woman hiss.
“Hey, busy boy” you joked, smiling when he made a disgusted face.
“Yeah. Sorry about that. Gen’s up here with Tom and Shep, and she just wanted to know if we can have dinner tomorrow night” You loved Gen. She was a beautiful woman, not to mention their cute kids. But if they were having dinner tomorrow it meant… oh. Your smile faded.
“Jar, I’m sorry. That you didn’t get nominated, I mean. You really deserved-”
“It’s fine” he cut you off, shrugging, but settled back on the chair, much to the hairdresser’s approval. Meanwhile that, April got started on your own hair.
“I mean, I won Best scifi actor on Teen’s Choice Awards last year. And that cerimony with candles at comic con.” You still remembered that. Hundreds of candles, lit up just for Jared. It had felt magical.
“Yeah, I guess it was worth it” He nodded, agreeing.
“Besides…” he grinned. You raised an eyebrow.
“at least I won’t have to come up here and go back, only to come here again on the same day”
“I hate you” You tried to sound serious, but couldn’t help a small smile from crossing your lips.
“Sure you do” you two fell silent, as the hairdresser had finished with his hair, and started applying some bruise makeup by the corner of his mouth. You closed your eyes, feeling April massage your head sofly, as she “organized” your hair. Time dragged itself slowly, until you felt Jared move beside you.
“Well, if you excuse me, someone has to work around here” There were lots of bruises all over his face. You remembered that you, Jensen and Misha had supposedly just released his character from the cage, what was actually the ending of the episode you shot before break. You couldn’t wait to get started on what happened next. He winked at you, and you pretended to roll your eyes at him, as he walked out of the trailer.
“You’re both children” April started, shaking her head. You snorted.
“Yeah, we are.”
xx
After your makeup and hair were finally ready, April sent you off to shoot, with the warning of trying not to mess it all up, “unless you wanted to go back to that chair again today”. You shuddered at the idea. The first scene of the day involved a lot of special effects, so you walked through the set into the green room.
It had that name because it was literally made up by the green screen, both on the floor and the walls. You saw the camera men spread on the sides, getting their cameras ready. You also caught a glimpse of Bob Singer- the director, as he talked to Mark Pellegrino on one corner.
It felt like home to be here, and you liked it. Your character was a mysterious hunter, that had the mission to kill every demon in hell. Of course, now, two years later, that storyline had changed, and she was a possible romantic pairing to Dean.
“There she is!” It took you a second too long to realize it weren’t Sam, Dean and Cas standing in front of you, but Jared, Jensen and Misha dressed as them. It felt great to see everyone back together. Those three were like brothers to you. You walked over to them, and Jensen pulled you in for a hug.
“Hey Y/n. It’s been awhile” Jensen said, before letting you go so that you could hug Misha too.
“Yeah. I know.” You had actually missed him this winter break. Usually, you’d hang out, but your family had needed you at home, so you didn’t have the time. Misha rolled his eyes.
“Oh, get a room you two” he joked, making Jared and himself laugh. You didn’t miss the blush that reached Jensen’s cheeks.
“Y/n. Welcome back.” Singer, who had finished talking to Mark, walked over to you. He patted you on the shoulder. You forced yourself to smile, before he broke eye contact, and glanced over to Jensen and Jared.
“Okay, so, Jensen. You are going to walk until the X on the green screen, and crouch down next to Jared, who is supposed to be in pain. Then…” Singer was moving around, as he explained what was supposed to happen. This scene was a closeup on Jared and Jensen, right after you three got Sam out of the cage.
Mark was leaning by the bars of the “cage”, completely focused on Singer. You felt a chill go down your spine. Even knowing this wasn’t real, looking at him was still pretty intimidating.
“…He knows we read the script, right?” Misha whispered to you, pulling you from your thoughts. You covered your mouth.
“Y/N! Misha! Quit fooling around and pay attention here” You flinched a little at being called out, but complied, forcing your eyes to stay on him. This was going to be a long day.
“As I was saying, Pellegrino, you’re not supposed to be in this shot, but we might use you, so just look down at them and pretend to be interested. Y/N, Misha, you know your lines” He said, not really expecting an answer.
Singer took a step back, away from the frame and back behind a camera. You, Jensen, Misha and Jared moved back to your initial marks.
“Alright!” He said, clapping his hands once, to gather everyone’s attention.
“On your marks… action!” xx
It was actually a really warm day in Los Angeles, though you couldn’t tell if it was because of the hundreds of other TV stars crowded around you, or because of your anxiety. Supernatural was running for three categories this time; Best Scifi actor, (which Misha and Jensen both were running for), Best scifi show, and Best Scifi actress.
“Don’t be nervous. You’ll be fine” Jensen whispered to you, leaning in to say it closer to your ear. You, him and Misha were sitting next to each other on the third roll, what was way in the front. You were sure the cameras broadcasting the show had ran by you three at least a few times.
“I’m not nervous” You replied, pretending to be really focused on Rihanna, as she performed in front of you. Jensen took one of your hands.
“Then why… are you biting your nails?” He spread your fingers open, showing teeth marks on the nail polish. You pulled your hand back.
Misha and Jensen had been on this show for a very long time, and were really famous with the fans. You had no doubt one of them would win. Same for the show. But you… you were new. Kinda. Besides, not everyone liked your character. Yeah, you probably wouldn’t win. Jensen sighed.
“Y/N, look, even if you don’t win, it’s alright. It’s just an award” Just an award?
“Don’t let the presenters hear you” you gestured to the people on the roll in front of yours. Jensen shrugged.
“You’ll still be the best to me” You looked at him in shock. There was a smile plastered on his lips. You felt butterflies on your stomach.
“I-”
“Shut up you two, it’s back” Misha slapped Jensen’s arm softly, thankfully making you two turn your attention back to the stage. Rihanna had long stopped singing, as she was replaced by Cory Monteith and Lea Michele. They had both won awards today.
“Scifi fiction has been a part of cinema and television for the longest time, and it is by far, one of the most popular genres.” Cory started, looking around the audience.
“It is perhaps people’s fascination with the unknown, and a very strong imagination that made this possible. But these shows and movies wouldn’t be anything without the stars that bring the characters to life. Here are the nominees for Scifi TV actor.”
The lights of went off, and everyone turned their attention to the large screens on both sides of the stage.
Ian Somerhalder. Sam Heughans. David Tenant. Scenes of their shows appeared, with their names underneath them. You cheered when Misha’s and Jensen’s name showed up on the same scene.
“We’re family. I need you” Dean said, and the image shifted to Cas, before the TV faded, and the lights went up again, as everyone clapped.
“The people’s choice award for Scifi TV actor goes to…” You didn’t miss the wedding ring on Lea’s finger as she pulled out the card. You could practically feel the tension flow from Jensen and Misha.
“Jensen Ackles!” Jensen got up in awe. You clapped, cheering him on, as Misha patted him in the back, before pushing him out to the stage. This made you really happy. He deserved it.
“And Supernatural wins as best Scifi show” Cory added, before he and Lea handled Jensen both of the awards. He lifted them both in the air, and claps and cheers echoed through the room.
“I…wow. I don’t even know what to say.” Everyone laughed with him.
“I’d like to thank the fans, the cast, and the crew for this. It has been 11 years now, and we wouldn’t have gotten this far without any of them. And Jared…” He made sure to look at one of the several cameras pointed at him.
“You’re next” the room echoed in screams and applauses one more time after that, as he made his way back down. You and Misha took the awards from him, and he walked back up on stage. As always, who won should present the next award. You felt a little bad for him. He hated having to do this.
Lea handled him the small card with his speech and what he should present. Your heart pounded on your chest at the face he made, once he read what was on the paper. He cleared his throat, before moving to the mic.
“Though many of the Scifi movies and shows we have made to this day do have male main characters, we can’t forget the importance of females to this genre. Especially when the first Scifi book ever written, Frankenstein, was written by a woman. The nominees for Scifi TV actress are…”
You barely noticed the cheers, as the video started showing the nominees. This was it. If you had been nervous before, you were in panic now. Misha whispered something to you, but you didn’t even hear what it was. You felt you were going to be sick. Your eyes went back up to Jensen, and to your surprise, he was looking right at you. It helped you calm down a bit.
The video ended, and the lights went back up. Jensen briefly passed his eyes through the room.
“The winner for Scifi TV actress is… Y/N Y/L/N!”
The world exploded in claps around you. You couldn’t believe it. You won? You won! You couldn’t help your smile as Misha gave you a hug, before letting you pass to the corridor.
You walked up the stairs, feeling everyone’s eyes on you, as you took the award from Jensen’s hands.
“Told you you’d be fine” he said, giving you a hug. You let go of him, feeling the weight of your award on your hands. You did it!
A feeling of deep happiness coursed through you, as you watched everyone cheer your name.

Secrets
xx Cooking surely wasn’t your most favorite thing in the world. Not that you didn’t like it; but you would avoid it when possible. Of course, as a hunter, that wasn’t something that could be done all the time, especially when money was short. So you happened to know how to make a thing or two.
You walked through the bunker’s kitchen, opening up the cabinets and getting ingredients. You made a face when you opened the fridge. You guys would have to go on a supply run soon. You’d have to remember to tell Dean that once he and Sam were back from checking up on Claire. Or at least that’s where you thought they went.
You placed the ingredients by the pan that was already on the counter, and added some butter to it, as well as some water. You picked up a spoon to mix these with the flour already in there.
Truth was, you kinda liked the older Winchester. Had done so for a very long time, and he seemed to like you back, considering you two went as far as kissing each other a few weeks ago. But ever since that he had been acting weird, almost as if he decided he changed his mind. You felt a pinch on your chest.
Dean was a ladies’ man, something he never hid from anyone, and on top of that, very good looking. It was possible he found someone else and wasn’t interested anymore.
Well, if he did change his mind, he would have to grow up and say it to your face. You decided. Sure, that would hurt, but at least like that you could start to move on. Yeah, like it is that easy.
You focused on the dough in front of you. You took a large piece of it, and wrapped it up, before putting it on the fridge. It would take some time before you could get back to that, so you focused on organizing the dinner table behind you.
You placed three plates on top of it, adding a fourth when you realized Cas would probably join you, since they were at Claire’s. You added knives and forks too. You glanced up at the clock on the wall. They wouldn’t be back for a couple more hours. Plenty of time to get everything done. You just hoped you’d be able to get Dean to talk.
xx
“Y/N, we’re home!” Dean called out, as he and Sam walked down the stairs of the bunker, followed by Cas. Claire had actually been happy to see Cas, what was probably the reason for the goofy look on the angel’s face. She seemed to enjoy having seen him too (or at least didn’t hate it completely) what was actually a relief. Especially since she had started to grow on him.
He had barely reached the bottom of the stairs when the smell reached his nose. Apple pie. His stomach growled happily.
“Looks like Y/N has been busy. Man, I’m starving” Sam said, dropping his duffel bag on the nearest chair. Dean couldn’t agree more, even if his hunger softened a little at the mention of your name.
The kiss had been awesome. He had wanted it for so long, and now that he actually had it, he didn’t want to let you go. But…
“Yeah. Me too. I think it’s coming from the kitchen. Cas, are you coming?” He turned around to face the Angel, who stared back, as intensely as always, before nodding.
“Of course” He’d feel creeped out about Cas’ freaky ways later. Right now, he needed a slice of that pie.
xx
The smell was even stronger when they reached the kitchen. Dean’s jaw dropped as he saw the tray filled with small sandwiches. Some seemed healthy, with lettuce and tomatoes, while others had cheese and sausage (he had a feeling those were for him) and in the center, a huge apple pie. He could tell it had just finished to be baked, because there was still smoke coming from it. He felt his mouth water.
“Welcome home, guys. Did things go well with Claire? Nice to see you, Cas.” The angel smiled at her, tilting his head down a bit. Y/N was leaning against the sink, seeming pleased with their faces as they practically ate the food with their eyes.
“Yeah, Claire is great. Dude, did you really make-”
“Did I really make all this? Yeah, Sam. I did. Thought you guys would be hungry.” you shrugged, barely holding back your laughter at the shock on the youngest Winchester’s face.
“Wow, this is amazing. Thanks Y/n” Sam smiled at you, before taking a seat, followed shortly by Cas, who nodded at you approvingly, as if saying thank you as well. Dean nodded too, but he didn`t meet your gaze.
“Yeah, it’s amazing. Thank you, Y/N” He said, taking a seat next to his brother, who actually stepped on his foot for being an ass. You pretended not to notice.
“You’re all welcome, boys. I hope it tastes good too.” you added, as Sam picked up one of the “healthy” sandwhiches. Dean was about to grab himself a slice of the pie, when you cleared your throat.
“Uh, Dean. Before you do that, can I talk to you for a minute?” You gestured outside with your head. He felt all the blood vanish from his face. Son of a bitch.
“Don’t worry. I’ll watch the pie for you” Sam joked, patting his stomach, what earned him a glare from Dean. He forced himself to his feet, ignoring Sam’s laughter and Cas’ confused face until you two were out of the room.
xx
You led him to one of the tables on the library. It wasn’t far enough that the smell of pie didn’t reach you, but far enough that Sam and Cas wouldn’t hear you. You sat on the table itself, watching as Dean practically dragged his feet behind you to one if the chairs.
“Sorry about the pie. I’m sure at least some of it will still be there when we go back” He smiled at your joke, what made you more relaxed. But he still didn’t meet your eyes.
“I just wanted to say that it’s okay. If you’re not that into me. I mean, I know things got weird between us after that, so I just-” His green eyes darted up to you for the first time.
“I am into you. Have been since we met, all those years back” He meant it. He still remembered the punch you gave him when he sneaked up behind you to ask about a missing person. It was the first interaction you two ever had. You frowned.
“Then why?” he sighed. He wanted nothing more than to say “nothing” and kiss you again. But he couldn’t. Not if you didn’t know the truth. But the problem with that, was that he himself hadnt even accepted it for that long. Damn John Winchester and all his “man” crap.
“It’s just I uh…” come on Dean, get a hold of yourself. You perked up an eyebrow.
“Are you.. dating someone else?” There was some hurt on your voice.
“What? No!” He slammed his hand against the table so hard that he was sure Sam and Cas heard it.
“Then what is it?” He could practically feel the worry in your eyes. This is why he hadn’t wanted to talk. He didn’t know what to say or to explain it. He took a deep breath.
“It’s just, the way I was raised, my dad expected us to be perfect soldiers. "Men” as he said it, even though we were just kids. And because of that, because I was afra-knew my dad would never accept it, there was a part of me that I always kept burried deep down there.“ You had no idea of where he was going with this, but you nodded.
"Okay, and?”
“And after I got the mark of Cain and started watching myself die because of it, with how to get it off, that changed. I figured… I wanted to be myself. For whatever time I had left” Some recognition flashed on your face.
“Are you telling me..?”
“I’m saying that I like girls. A lot….” He winked playfully at you, before turning dead serious again.
“But… I kinda like boys too” It was the first time he actually ever said it out loud. He felt his cheeks burn up.
Silence. You didn’t say anything. Suddenly, he couldn’t hold your gaze, so he looked down instead, focusing on the table like it was the most interesting thing in the world. Of course you wouldn’t understand. How could you? He could imagine the disgust on your eyes for even having kissed him. Congratulations, Dean. You just lost her, forever. But that was no surprise, really. He hurt everyone he cared about. If only he had left that part of himself there…
“I get it if you hate me now… and if you don’t want our thing to be a thing, I-I just-” His words were cut off by your lips brushing against his.
His eyes were wide when you two broke apart.
“Thank you for telling me, Dean. And I love that you’re confident enough to finally accept who you are.” Your tone was dead serious. He had to know you meant every word. You took his left hand.
“Me, and Sam, and Cas, we will support you, no matter what. You can be sure of that. And Dean?” His eyes were a little glassy, like he was about to cry. You squeezed his hand tighter.
“I’m not going anywhere” you reassured him, pulling him into your arms as much as the table allowed. It was obviously too much for him, and you felt him sob softly against your chest.
“Thank you”
“Shh. Dean. It’s okay” You ran your hand soothingly through his back, cursing John Winchester for being a homophobic bastard. You felt the hatred coursing through you. Dean didn’t deserve this. Didn’t deserve to spend his life hating himself.
You didn’t know how much time passed as you two stayed like that, but Dean’s sobs quieted eventually, and you pulled your arms back, planting a soft kiss on his cheek. His eyes were still a little red, but he was visibly better.
“Soo, does that mean I have a bisexual boyfriend?” You said, playfully. He frowned at the word, but smiled back.
“Yeah. I guess. How do you feel about that?”
“I think it’s perfect”
sorry for the delay on the imagines, guys. I just have really important tests coming up, this week and next, and no time.

You drove for a long time, until the tears on your eyes stopped forming, and you could think somewhat. You couldn’t go home, to the bunker. Cas would surely be there, and you did not want to see him. You didn’t have anywhere to go. The bike’s motor started fading underneath you, giving you something to worry about, other than him. It was about time you changed vehicles anyways. You pulled up in front of a roadside motel, letting the bike die under you.
Your phone vibrated on your pocket, and you pulled it out. Over 100 messages from Sam, Dean and Cas. Sam and Dean. They were probably worried. You didn’t mean to leave them like that.
You unlocked your phone and pressed Dean’s number.
“I’m okay. Just need some time. And a new number. Text you later. -Y/n”
That would have to do for now.
You made your way to the front door. You did leave your bag in the impala, but you still had some money from last week, when you all tried to teach Cas how to play poker. You didn’t think your heart could ache more.
xx
The motel was actually cheap, and you got a good room on the second floor. You threw your phone on the trash bin as soon you walked inside.
You were glad he convinced you to tattoo your ribs with anti angel simbols. “These are going to protect you from my brothers and sisters that might want to harm you. No angel can find you, unless you want them to” he had said. Back then, it seemed he cared. Now? you weren’t so sure.
You deserve it. You told yourself. Who are you, after all? A hunter he met randomly on a case? What chance did you have with an actual angel of the lord anyways? God, you were so stupid.
You jumped on the bed, and sobbed yourself to sleep. xx
A month later…
“How’s he doing?” Sam asked, the second he saw his brother walk in the room. The bunker had been awfully quiet these days.
“He’s… not talking much. Not even to me” Sam sighed. Dean was his best friend. If he wasn’t talking to him, who would he talk to?
“Well, we need to do something. It’s been a month.”
“Or maybe not, maybe we should leave him alone for now.” Sam frowned.
“What do you mean?”
“He’s an angel. Who knows how these things work for him? Maybe he really needs the break” Dean shrugged. He hated seeing Cas like this, but he didn’t know how to stop it. Not without Y/n, and she had insisted on not giving him her new number. She needed some time too.
“Yeah maybe… Anyways, Y/n called. She needs our help on a case”
“Really? What’s it about?” Dean pulled out a chair.
“A spirit killing people nearby. I say we should investigate”
“A case? I think I might be useful” And that was when Dean almost fell from the chair because there was Cas, standing from the doorway.
“Hey buddy, how long have you been there?” Dean asked. If he had heard Y/n was involved, there was no way in hell they’d be able to convince him not to find her.
“I just overheard you guys talking about a hunt involving a spirit… the point is, I want in” Sam scratched the back of his head uncomfortably.
“I uh, actually Cas, we were thinking you should take a break. You know, heal. After what happened to Y/n.” The Angel frowned.
“I have "been on a break” as you call it, for over a month. So unless you have a reason you two don’t want me to go, I see no reason not to" He eyed Dean and Sam suspiciously.
“A reason for you not to go? nah, why would you think that? You’re family, Cas” Dean tried. Okay, this hadn’t helped
“Good, then it’s settled. I’ll wait in the car” and just like that, he turned and left.
Sam and Dean exchanged worried glances. Y/n was going to kill them.
xx The ghost was in an abandoned mansion in a small town about two hours from the bunker. The night air played with your hair while you sat on the stairs outside it.
This one month away from the bunker had been… great for you. For the first weeks, you had left a lot of your anger out, by going on hunts. You had kept in touch with Sam and Dean, of course. They were like brothers to you. But having to get over Cas, and deciding to do it all on your own also gave you a lot of time to think.
You watched distractedly as the impala pulled up on the street and Dean parked it by your car. What caught you by surprise was the person that practically hopped off the backseat. Cas.
“Y/n. Hi” he smiled at you like all the worry in the world had been removed from his shoulders. For a second, you could almost believe nothing had happened. You looked past him.
“What’s he doing here?” You asked to Sam and Dean, both looking equally guilty. You scoffed. It only took a month for them to betray you too.
“He overheard us. We couldn’t convince him to stay. We’re sorry, Y/n”
“Wait, you knew she was here and you didn’t tell me?” Cas seemed wrathful.
“that’s because I didn’t want you here” You cut him off, strongly. And you still didn’t. A month had made you feel better, but you weren’t ready for this yet.
He turned around slowly, as if ready to apologize, but the look in your eyes made him simply nod.
“I understand.”
“Good, now let’s go. ” You didn’t wait for them to reply, as you turned to the door. xx The three of you locked your saltguns the second you stepped inside the house. Cas held the flashlight in a way that made you see very far ahead, what gave you the impression the mansion was even bigger on the inside, with ripped carpets and curtains everywhere. You tried not to think about the rats and cockroaches as you walked through the rooms.
You stopped when you reached what seemed to be a dining room. A huge family portrait sat in front of a fireplace, with a woman, a man, and a young boy. You pointed at the woman.
“Sarah Whitefang. We’re looking for the necklace she is wearing. It’s what is tying her son-”
“Y/N!” You dodged just in time for the knife to dash by you, ending up stuck at the bottom of the painting, exactly where your head was.
“I called you boys for a reason” you said, at Sam’s and Dean’s shocked faces.
“We better keep going. Before anything-” Sam was cut off by the sound of a gunshot right next to his ear.
“Cas; what the hell?!” His ear was buzzing from the noise, and the side of his head hurt. He could have ended up deaf! The Angel didn’t reply, though. Instead, he just pointed forward.
“Do you really think killing me is going to be that easy?” the ghost of the boy appeared by the painting. Abloody knife dripped from his chest, marking the way he died. He was older than in the painting, but he couldn’t be over 20.
“We don’t want to kill you. We just want to bring you peace.” You took a few steps back.
“Is that why your friend over there shot me?” He pointed at Cas, who was still holding Dean’s gun, and looking ready to do it again. The thought of Cas protecting you shocked you for a few seconds.
“I apologize for that. He was just afraid you’d hurt me, like you hurt the others” the ghost did not look convinced. He went through Sam, to the dining table. Maybe you could trick him into telling where the necklace was?
“Those people came here to steal from my family. They deserved what they got” His tone was ice cold, and it sent shivers down your spine. You nodded.
“Fair enough. Do you know what they were after?” Nothing happened at first. You were sure he was going to disappear in front of you. But then he lifted his arm, causing a shiny pendant to hang from his hand. The necklace.
“My mother’s necklace. The most precious thing I hold” you got closer. The boys must have realized what you were trying to do because none of them said anything. You didn’t dare to look back.
The ghost smiled at you. It was like he was waiting for you to comment on it.
“It’s beautiful. May I see it?” You stretched your hand out to take it, and that was when you heard another shot, and the ghost disappeared in front of your eyes.
“Quick, before he comes back!” Cas screamed. You grabbed the necklace from the table and turned to the fireplace, surprised to see Sam was there with the fire on.
“Here!” you said, throwing it to him, before being flung backwards.
“YOU TRICKED ME! NOW YOU ALL SHALL DIE!” the ghost tightened his grip around you so hard starts were dancing in front of your eyes. You couldn’t breathe. The world started to fade around you…
And just like that he was replaced by the heat of flames, and you fell to the ground, breathless.
xx
“Y/n, are you alright?” You stretched your arms slowly, feeling the warmth of one of the bunker’s many beds. Cas looked worried.
“Did we kill it? The ghost?” he nodded.
“Yes. He’s not going to harm anyone else, thanks to you” You let out a relieved breath; it was good to win one for a change.
“Y/n, about what happened between me and Meg….” Ah, here it was. You knew you wouldn’t be able to avoid it much longer.
“I just want you to know that she is the one who kissed me. I would never hurt you like this.” There was honesty in his words. You could sense it.
“Thank you, Cas. But you did. When people lean in to kiss you, and you are already with someone, you don’t let them do it” That night was still fresh in your head. The bar. The kiss. The smile on Meg’s face. You flinched.
“I know. And I promise you that if you ever give me another chance, it won’t happen again” He squeezed your hand. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t love him anymore, but... Could you do this?
The bunker, being here with Cas, it all sounded so… natural. But you could not simply ignore everything you went through, and had the time to go over and over again this last month.
“I think we can try again. But we’re doing it my way. We’ll start over from the beginning, and take things slow this time.” You hadn’t seen such a sincere smile in years.
“What is it?” You couldn’t help but to smile yourself. It felt good to be home.
“You’re different now. Stronger.” You perked an eyebrow.
“Is that a bad thing?”
“No, not at all.”

The kiss
“Alright, so does everyone remember the plan?” Sam asked, turning to you and Cas in the backseat. Garth had called a few hours back, saying a demon (apparently Meg) was making deals in a bar in Colorado, so here you all were.
“Yeah. Me, you and Dean are going to wait in the car” You answered, pointing at yourself.
“And I will go inside, and bring her out here” Cas said, looking at the bar through the window. Sam nodded.
“Yeah, that’s about it. Whenever you want to, Cas” You weren’t so sure it was a good idea. From what you understood, the only reason Cas was the bait was because she had feelings for him. You shifted on your seat, uncomfortably.
“Y/n, are you okay with this?” Your boyfriend seemed to sense there was something bothering you. You didn’t reply.
“There’s nothing between me and Meg. But if you don’t want me doing this, I’m sure we can come up with another plan” He looked so concerned… Why were you being silly? There was nothing to worry about. He loved you.
“No, Cas. It’s okay. I trust you” You smiled reassuringly to him. His features softened.
“Alright then, lovebirds. Let’s get on with this!” Dean turned on his seat, smiling. The glare Cas gave him made sure that it didn’t last, though.
You watched as Cas opened the door, and made his way to the bar. xx
“You know what? This is taking too long. We should probably head inside” Dean looked at the watch on his wrist. Half an hour. What could be taking that long?
“Knowing his talking skills, it might be nothing. But we should go check it out” Sam said, loading his gun. Sam was probably right. Knowing Cas, it was a miracle he managed to ask you out properly. But it was better to be safe than sorry.
“Yup. Let’s go” you pulled out the demon knife from your jeans and opened the door to the car. You just hoped Cas was okay.

The bar was pretty full that night. People sat at the tables, talking and laughing loudly. Bartenders rushed around, trying to balance five or more beer glasses at once, what was surely attracting the attention of many. It also gave you three the perfect chance of sneaking in without being seen.
“Dammit this place is full. I’ll go check with the bartender, see if he knows anything. Sam, check left, by the bathrooms, Y/n, you go right. We’ll meet back again here. Understood?” You and Sam both nodded. Panic rushed over you. Too many people. What if Meg had kidnapped Cas and left? No. Stay Calm.
You hid the blade on your jacket, before anyone could see it, and mixed yourself with the crowd, trying to act naturally. It came easily to you, after all these years.
“Hey sweetheart. How you doin?” A man, about ten years older than you, approached you with a smile. The alcohol on his breath almost made your eyes water.
“Sorry sir, but I already got a date” You brushed past him, back into the crowd. Men. One beer and they started hitting on everything. Not Cas though, Cas was different.
Or at least you thought he was. Your eyes traced the crowd for a few seconds before you spotted him, by the bar, eyes closed as his lips met Meg’s.
It was like the world had stopped around you; You couldn’t breathe. You couldn’t think, or believe what was happening in front of your eyes. They broke their kiss and Cas’ eyes met yours for a second. Meg’s too. You saw her smile before storming off the bar.
“Y/n, wait!” His voice died in the crowd the second the bar’s doors closed behind you. You wiped your eyes just enough for you to spot a motorcycle on the parking lot. Having done this many times before, you pulled out the blue cables and connected them. The bike came to life underneath you.
“Y/n, Wait, please!” he was outside now, running towards you.
“No, Cas. It’s OVER!” You didn’t give him time to reply. Instead, you slammed your feet on the pedal, watching as he faded on the background.
The emptiness of the road was a comfort. An escape, for what had just happened. Here you could pretend that what you had seen wasn’t true. But what did you expect? You thought. They have known each other for a very long time. Of course he loves her. You felt your heart rip in two, as even more tears started to fall.
HI can u do one where ur dating cas but he kisses Meg so u break up but one month later he tells u why he did it so U forgive him but when your back together he notices how ur more braver and stronger now
on my list!

Memories
The rain was falling that night, clouding the front mirror of the impala. You could barely see the shiny blue lights of “Rose’s motel”. You three had just finished a wendigo hunt, and after days in the woods, you could use a shower. Sam and Dean had gone inside a few minutes ago, to see if there were still rooms available.
Sam and Dean. You knew those two for a very long time now, ever since both your parents left you at Bobby’s when you all were really young. You smiled.
“hey, so it looks like we’ll be alone for the night” Dean seemed pleased when opened the door, showing you the keys.
“Really? Sounds good”
“Yeah. Bitch says he wants to “be able to sleep without me making noise”. Not that I’m complaining” He was soaking wet from the rain, but even that didnt get in the way of his smile. You nodded.
“let’s go” xx
“How’s your leg? You fell pretty hard back there in the woods” Dean mumbled worriedly against your ear. You shifted under the blankets to face him.
“It’s okay. I’ve had worse” It was true. Growing up hunting like you had, a little slip when you were running from a monster was practically nothing.
“You sure? There’s more pain meds in the car. I could-”
“Dean Winchester, if you get out of this bed I swear I’m going to go cuddle with your brother” he laughed.
“As if. You love me too much”
“You’re not wrong about that” You pressed your lips against his, and he wrapped an arm possessively around you.
“I’m sorry. I just worry about you”
“I know. You always did” Even when you two were just kids…
Sioux Falls, 1987.
You were eight years old. It was the first day of school, and you couldn’t wait to go and make new friends and learn things! But most important of all, you were excited because this year Dean would be studying with you.
“You kids ready to go?” Bobby asked, helping you with your puppy backpack. You nodded, excitedly.
“Uncle Bobby, is Sammy coming too? It’s dangerous for him to stay alone in the house” Dean asked, pulling at the shoulder straps of his car backpack. He had promised dad he was going to watch out for him!
“No, Dean. Your brother is still too young for school. I’ll watch out for him while you’re gone. Okay?” That seemed to calm him down. He looked over to you and smiled.
“Come on, y/n. I can show you the school. This is going to be awesome!”
xx
“Nice backpack, animal freak!” The boy was taller than you and probably a few years older. Your eyes widened.
“My backpack IS cool. My dad bought it to me” before the monster took him. But it was okay. Mom would find it.
“Yeah? Where is he now?”
“He’s… busy.”
“Liar! He left you, because he couldn’t take you anymore!” All his friends started to laugh. Tears started filling your eyes. What if it was true? What if he had left you?
“Hey, leave her alone!” Dean ran to stand between you and the boy. He looked annoyed he had been interrupted.
“Make me” It was all he had time to say before Dean punched him in the face.
“Dean, no!” You screamed. Uncle Bobby had started training you and Dean, but the other boy was too big!
“It’s okay, y/n. He’s not going to hurt-” The boy punched him in the stomach, causing Dean to double over in pain, before throwing him to the ground.
“What is going on here?” Mr Thompson came over, getting a grip of the boys’ arm and pulling him off of Dean.
“McMillan. Winchester. My office. Now”
“No, wait, Dean!” You watched as the principal dragged them both away. Dean was in trouble, and it was your fault! You felt the tears on your cheeks. xx
“Are you okay?” The teacher had let you out of class, because Bobby was going to pick you both up earlier after what happened.
“Yeah, I am.” He turned to you, holding a small piece of ice against his left eye. You wanted to cry again.
“Dean, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have cared about what he was saying” He shrugged.
“He was talking about your dad. It’s okay. You don’t need to be sorry” Your dad. You still weren’t sure the boy had lied.
“Do you think it’s true? That my dad left me and my mom?”
“No! You and your mom are awesome, he wouldn’t have left. The monster got him.” Dean seemed really sure of his words. You felt your heart slow down a bit.
“Yeah, but what if?” He looked straight in your eyes for a few seconds before replying.
“Then, you’ll always have me.” That made you smile.
“Thanks Dean” xx
“In my defense, that kid was a douchebag!” You laughed at his words.
“Yeah, he was”
“I’m glad I kicked his ass”
“YOU kicked his ass?” You sounded amused. “He gave you a black eye!”
“Yeah well, I let him. Couldn’t exactly show my fighting skills in the middle of a primary school, could I?” Dean scratched the back of his head uncomfortably. You rolled your eyes.
“Yeah. I’m just glad you kept your promise.” Your mom never found your dad. Not alive, anyways. But she did kill the monster. It was okay, though. You always had Dean.
He tightened his grip around you.
“Always”
