I got Shiva’s axe and had to take somber/ANGRY pictures with Skarn. She holds it against her shoulder as a firm, yet gentle reminder.

I haven’t really rp’d with Skarn since our move to Mateus, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have her outfits! Also I stole the format for this from @borlaaq please go check out their characters okay

The first is her usual brawling outfit. Mostly her most comfortable pants, work boots, and her shirt pulled off to reveal that silly hempen top she wears as a bra. She will absolutely get you in a headlock like this.

Second is her casual wear, something you’d see her in public wearing if she wasn’t in her armor/off-duty from the Maelstrom. She is more than very likely drunk, approach with both caution and optimism.

Third is sleepwear. Not much to explain, though it’s rare that she actually wears this, she’s normally far too drunk to get out of anything but MAYBE her boots. Maybe.

fourth is her work uniform. Being a Lieutenant is hard work! And she can be surprisingly a hardass when with her squadron. She loves ‘em though, treats them to a night in the Drowning Wench here and there.

Fifth is her current armor. Not as metal clad as she’s used to, but it’s comfortable and keeps her safe. So whatever.

Sixth and Seventh is her current Black Mage garb. After... Ahem, recent events, the Roegadyn did focus in and figure out how to balance fire and ice, instead of just wallowing in self pity and mourning by using ice magic and fucking up her body to where she couldn’t FEEL the cold anymore

Fun fact: She literally constantly wears her wedding ring, because it’s her FAVORITE thing to hit people with. The damn thing’s probably got blood crusted on it that’ll never come off, and she loves it.

When another Warrior gets pissy when you tell them to turn off Defiance in Titan Hard because they’re not Main Tank, and a Black Mage tries to tell you you don’t know how to hold aggro because you keep losing it to an idiot who’s doing the aggro rotation and you can’t pop Storm’s Path or Eye without him pulling off of you

there’s a big difference between tracing someone’s art privately to get a feel for the motions & such of drawing anatomy and keeping it to yourself for future examination, and taking that work and selling it for profit.

don’t profit off of someone else’s work, just don’t.

Sometimes I know it’s easy to get discouraged or feel like you have to hold yourself to a really really high standard because some folks look down on Warrior of Light characters, and treat them like a dime a dozen. But I think the whole point of the amazing story of FFXIV is to put yourself in it and go along for the ride. 

You’ve worked your butt off creating the personality and backstory of your Warrior of Light and that’s awesome! Don’t give up.<3
