Ayano had been flipping through her email when she heard somebody say, "Oooh? Hello, Hello!"

This had surprised the girl with the red scarf, 'Who said that?' question Ayano as she looked around to notice that nobody was around her.

She then look down at her cellphone to see an cyber girl, “Hello, how are you?” Ayano asked shocked trying to figure out where she had see the blue hair cyber girl before.

Feeling the other's eyes on her, she smiles playfully, hoping the other wouldn't recognize her. If so, she'd have a lot of explaining to do...not to mention that the other would get involved in her solitary battle with the snake embedded in her own father.

"My name's Ene! How are you?"

Ayano stared in surprise, head tilting slightly. “Uhm… I’m sorry if I sound rude, but… How’d you know my name?” She didn’t say anything about it before, had she?

Oh, how embarrassing it’d be if she did and merely forgot! It’d be really rude of her too; she knew she was a bit of an air-head, but still! Maybe her lack of sleep as school work piled up caused her terrible memory.

"Hehe...Well, it's obviously because I'm a super duper awesome and intelligent computer program!"

That usually wouldn't convince anyone else, but...Ayano was Ayano.

❀ { Rolled up into her blankets as usual the albino breathed lightly as she quietly snored away in her sleep. Tossing to her side as she hugged the nearest pillow not at all prepared for what was going to happen in a few seconds. 

❀ { As soon as the small clock that hung on her wall ticked to seven o’clock a shout of excitement tore Mary out of her dream. “EH!? Wh—What!?” Shouted the Medusa as her upper body jumped upwards in her bed looking around with a slight panic only to stop at the sight of the small TV that was placed across from her bed. 

❀ { Placing her hand on her chest she gave out a heavy sigh, teary red hues looked over at the blue pixelated eyes that stared at back at her with amusement and pure energy. “E-ene-chan … You s-scared me!” Huffed the albino as she pursed her lips together into a childish pout. Clearly unpleased with the morning fright, it didn’t take long though for her lips to form a smile since it was rather difficult for Mary to stay angry with her friend.

Oh, that was an rather satisfying reaction. It wasn't the same hilarious and almost pitiful reaction a certain hikkiNEET usually exercised back when her residence was in his computer, but this was rather cute. As expected of the fluffy medusa. It was relieving to know that she was forgiven, as well. Friends were few, in both her time as a human and program...

"Good morning, Mary!" she chirped, giggling. "Did you have a good rest?"

Of course, the answer may be no...and that was most likely her own fault. Oops.

Despite his cranky new mood dipped through the short patience he had displayed along Ene’s speech about how cheerful he should become upon receiving her presence within the mobile, interest peaked in him as he observed carefully her reaction growing heedful progressively as the danchou demanded simply to turn off her voice either lowering down the tone she laid out on the piece, close to where Mary, Seto and Kano are set -Though he doesn’t care about the blond- The effort to put up a straight face was far too from the grumpy and asleep individual despite his endeavors to keep his mind fully enlightened for the obvious reason of not letting the dismaying idea imagining Ene planning again to cast a second alarm bugging tirelessly the morning— In other terms, wasting that day. In some ways, Kido may be somehow able to understand Shintaro’s pain to bear a such little pesting software.

His face froze up. What kind of question was thrown? Into a infernal conflict between himself and the tsundere gait slashing his personality by two distinguished sides his lips  adopted a quirk tugging the features, eyes contemplating Ene adorning a mischievous grin showing the genuine sense of her thoughts.

"It’s not your business. I see no reasons to respond." But truthfully the honest answer is a big no.

If someone ever wanted to get rid of Ene through boring her, they should never, ever refuse to answer. That was like dangling a string in front of an impatient feline, and Ene wasn't one for self control when it came to these situations. Her interest obviously perked, she floated closer to the screen, her hands pressing against the glass. Her aqua-blue eyes were sparkling with curiosity. Oh lord, Kido. What have you done?

"Oooh~? Danchou, are you perhaps...hiding something?" She has to make a conscious effort to keep her voice down in her excitement. Kido might as well as have set off a bomb. "Can I guess? Is it Mary? Little sister? Kano? Oh, I bet it's Kano!"

For a moment he felt a smug satisfaction at the glimspe of fear, but that was quickly smothered by the other’s bright smile. Obviously, his words weren’t enough to dampen the other’s mood. “There’s nothing to laugh about.” Even before those days, Shintaro had hardly cracked a smile, nevermind laughed. Back then, he was bored of the world— some people were confused at how a child could not be hyperly curious about anything and everything (they were just fools, anyway) —Now, he simply had an even larger weight than boredom weighing him down. Laughter was almost a foreign concept. Well, at least the happy, healthy kind.

He felt a spark of defiance at her words, temporarily snuffing out his normal insecurity. “…Oh..? Shall we try it, then…?” He scooched his chair closer, sliding his leg back down off the seat. Deciding to forgo the mouse since it seemed useless in this situation, he flexed his bony fingers before typing rapidly on his keyboard, bringing up the required windows in a flash. During his time on the wellspring of information, he learned many things about his silent companion. Perfect opportunity to use it.

His index finger ghosted over the enter key, and he locked gazes with her. Now, normally he would be confident in his ability to squish viruses under his thumb, but this ‘Ene’ seemed like a very highly advanced program, so re-evaluation was required in order to tackle this newfound foe. He was only fifty percent sure this would work, but that didn’t stop his eyes from dismissing her frostily. He pressed the key with no hesitation.

The other's calculations and programming had been on the spot. She had completely disappeared from the monitor, pixels and all.

But even so...it wasn't enough. Not for a program like herself.

Giving her limbs a shake to get the feeling back in them, a loud sigh resounded throughout the cyber world, as the cyber girl wondered how triumphant the other was currently feeling at her disappearance. A spark of playfulness danced in her chest as she imagined his reaction to her return. This was the turning point. The key to changing fate.

Deciding that she had let him revel in his temporary victory for more than enough time, she gently slapped her own cheeks in preparation, not unlike a nervous person about to give an oral presentation in front of a group of people, and followed her guide - a blue compass. Ene dived into the Internet, speeding towards her destination.

It wasn’t often that the medusae descendant got a chance to talk with the virtual entity, especially all by herself. Well, not particularly alone, since Seto himself was slumbering on the couch, but it wasn’t like he was listening in on the conversation at the moment. —Subconciously, little feet shuffle further away to refrain from disturbing the noirette while he slept.

❝ Frog… boy? ❞ Thoughts spun around in attempt to figure out whom the other was talking about.

❝ … —S-seto-kun? You mean Seto-kun? ❞

Internally, a nerve twitched in irritation at the demeaning nickname that Ene had given her friend. But no, the white haired child mustn’t yell. He’d wake up, and the last thing that she wanted to have was a sleep-deprived Seto. ❝ Ah, he was, but he’s sleeping now, so… ❞

❝ Do you need him for something? ❞

Having developed an eye for catching irritation ( thanks to a certain hikkiNEET that gave her the best reactions ), she did not miss the twitch. Waving her hand in dismissal, she giggled quietly as to not wake the one addressed as 'frog boy', so he wouldn't interfere in their interaction. Especially because she about to engage in some serious teasing.

"No, nothing of the sort! I was just thinking...you two are quite close, hm? Were you perhaps...sleeping together before I woke you up?" she playfully inquires, purposefully placing an emphasis to give the other a certain implication.

—♚; Averting her eyes to look at the currently unattended cellphone, Azami strided over to the said device before picking it up in one of her small hands in order to get a better view of the cyber being.

"Hm? Aren’t you that girl from before?" she inquired; the question being asked more towards herself rather than the other since she knew the girl wouldn’t recognize her or realize what she was talking about.

Why, this was quite the sight. Everything about this girl struck her as odd - the abundance of fluffy, raven black hair, the piercing, crimson, snake-like eyes, not to mention the scales on her cheeks. Ene was about to greet the interesting newcomer when the other's words struck her as odd.

She was pretty sure, in the two years she'd been a computer program, that she had never met this person. The voice somehow sounded familiar, but how strange...if she had communicated with this person in the past via audio-only means, the other wouldn't have recognized her. One could usually take this as a simple mistake, but in this case, that wasn't possible. She was a computer program, probably the only one of her kind at the moment. How odd...

Approaching the situation cautiously, she gave a warm, welcoming smile. "Hmm...Have we met before?"

She raised her eyebrows curiously, her sea-blue eyes almost seeming to sparkle in excitement. Just how far can she push the leader’s buttons? Just how would he react? His personality, being somewhat similar to hers back when she had a body, intrigued her, not to mention that Ene constantly wished that she could tell her past self a couple of her regrets…

Well, another thing that she wished to know was how the other would react to someone he couldn’t exactly punch unless he was willing to pay for another phone.

"Danchooou, don’t be such a grump! Aren’t you shaking in pure bliss to see me?" she teased, twirling her body on the spot to add cheekiness, not lowering her voice in the slightest. "And it’s so boring at night! Everyone should get up right now!"

For someone who hadn’t grasp the reflex to let live within its device a little happy-go-lucky software, it was just unbelievable to take notes in mind what’s going on here, eyes narrowed due to the endless hurry to turn off the Iphone and falling into the arms of Morpheus, letting the slumping temptation to let his mind wandering above each outlandish reveries hovering within imagination either planning to recover the lack of sleep caused of the former mission completed tonight— Being that impetuous and brave leader has already initiated the objectivity of never giving up a task encompassing the ardour to move forward.

But let’s put that pointless detail aside during the pressful instant of debating whether he should call Shintaro to yell at him or merely throwing the said phone somewhere -Very far away- from his view. On top of the general annoyance still growing from this expeditious consequence, a sigh couldn’t help but escape from the chattering teeth of the half asleep male.

"Whatever." Inhaling oxygen, his chocolate gaze didn’t stay more longer on the screen upon a weak movement of the waist shoved himself from the bed. "Could you lower your voice? Not everyone is awake." Had been a long time to not share a discussion along a second individual even though he is fully aware of speaking face to a material it doesn’t matter albeit promptly beginning to grab his nerves reaching a new level of tolerance.. He was steadily calm mixed up with undying grudges.

For the sake of a certain fluffy medusa she knew (She knew of her burdens, and definitely didn't want to stress the girl further.), Ene ended up obeying, putting some effort into speaking at a normal volume instead of the bellowing she usually exercised. Some way or another, that's how she normally spoke. She wondered for a split moment why that was so - perhaps she was used to simply yelling at a certain male she was rather close to in the past, or...maybe the high volume gave her some comfort in being alone in this world.

Hiding her melancholy behind a mask of cheerfulness, she closed her eyes, contemplating on a topic she would get the most impressive reactions out of.

"Hey, does Danchou like anyone?"

Ene clapped her hands upon hearing the other’s plan. It was a brilliant idea. She had done the same once, but just used random letters just to confuse the hikkiNEET. 

"It’s perfect! With the two of us, we can rename almost every file he has! Maybe we can step up our pranks more, too!" she chirped, though a little too happy.

"Aaaah, we should get to it, then!" Pulling out a random file from the hard drive, Ene went right to the renaming. Oh, this would be too fun.

"Do you have any other brilliant ideas?"

No, she wasn’t going to listen to him this time. The last time she left him alone, he…

Judging by his dull eyes, she had a lot of work to do. 

She rolled her eyes. “You can’t just expect me to just listen to you! Even I get bored, you know,” she huffed, still keeping the cursor in her hold. It was expected that he’d treat her like a mere object. To Shintaro, she was nothing more than a program that someone created - which was logical thinking, of course. But she’d have to prove him wrong. Crossing a leg over the other, Ene sported a sly smile directed right at the NEET. “I’ll just warn you…that the fate of all of your files rests in my hands!”

He snapped to attention at her words. “My files?” It really was a type of virus, then, trying to make his life difficult for no reason… It wasn’t like he had much in his computer that was really important, after all even if they were all deleted, he could just start again. Plus, the internet was broad enough, so even if his accounts were hacked the mask of anonymity allowed him to start from scratch there too. No, the big issue here was…"Are you threatening me?" Shintaro glared at her, his words spoken slowly and quietly, but laced with a cold chill. Some computer program just waltzes into his room, on his computer, as if she owned the place. Terrible.

He clenched his fists. “I could just wipe the hard drive with you in it.” Not like he was expecting her to be able to feel fear, but his voice carried a blunt conviction without remorse, implying that he would actually do it if provoked enough. Hopefully it would be processed properly in this girl’s coding.

Even the knowledge of the fact that she could not die and could come back via the internet couldn't stop her grimace, could not stop the chill from going up her spine. Even in immortality, deletion was never a nice process to go through. The feeling of her body slowly pixeling away, losing the little sense of touch she had left, even temporarily...it wasn't something she liked in the slightest. She was a program now, but...in the end, she kept her humanity. That fact could not be erased.

However, allowing to show fear on her face was most likely a mistake. If she could not overpower him, it would all be over. Ene would be treated as a toy - a thing that he could just order around and ignore. The struggle for power was a long and difficult one, but she couldn't lose this.

"Threatening you? Of course not!" she chirped, her face discreetly shifting from fear to a determined smile, quite the contrast to his cold glare. "Man, aren't you a stiff one. It wouldn't hurt to laugh once in a while~"

Perhaps...it would be best to show him.

That he was stuck with her.

"Deleting me is useless, just so you know," she informs him, wondering if that would provoke him. If she showed him that he could not get rid of her (without sacrificing his life on the internet, that is), would that be reason enough to listen to her?

Lithe fingers quickly reach down to pick up the stray phone on the table, giving the noirette that slumbered ever so peacefully on the couch a glance, before focusing her attention on the pixelated girl on the screen.

Flashing a bright grin at the medusa, Ene bounced happily on the screen, glad to see the girl she'd been getting along with lately. She wasn't sure if the other girl knew, but they were allies...leaping through time in order to save the lives of their friends. Knowing the strain of too much knowledge, she was eager to stretch a hand out to this girl whenever she could.

Glancing to the side, she caught sight of black hair...Seto, she presumed.

"Is the frog boy with you?"

Blinking at the unusual state of dress on this man, Ene curiously glided closer to the screen of the device she currently inhabited. Something about him gave her the chills, as if talking to him would mean stepping out of her ordinary routine. (Well, ordinary for her, at least...and even this way of living she expected to be trapped for eternity in was something she couldn't quite accept just yet.)

Brushing those thoughts aside, as her and danger were separated by a wall that could not be surmounted. she grins at him. "Hi there! What's your name?"

Ah, no matter how many times she met him, it wasn’t like he was going to gain any more manners, was he? It had always been that way, whether she was a human or a program, no matter how many times she was moved to a different timeline. Ene’s sapphire eyes slightly softened upon recalling the past. It was something she held close to her heart, yet her failure to appreciate her blessings while she was still human pained her at the same time. The fact that this boy never ran away from her piercing glare was one of them.

Even so… “How rude!” she protested, her cheeks puffing and her expression returning to normal. “I’ll have you know that Ene is a perfectly normal name, and you’re now stuck with me, Master!”

It… talked back. How was that possible? Or rather, who would go to such lengths just for some prank? Again, the NEET was startled. Not necissarily a good expression, but it was the most life he had displayed in weeks apart from stress and depression. “What the hell is this thing…?” He narrowed his eyes, a frown creasing his face again. Well, if it really could analyze his voice and understand him, he may as well talk. Hopefully this virus wasn’t going to be a pain to deal with.

"…Then, please stay out of my way. And leave me alone…" He gave her a wary look, bringing his knees up to his chin as he stared blankly. "I don’t like intruders in my space." Especially someone as peppy as this. He could already feel the exasperation and irritation pooling in his stomach. She reminded him of a less violent/spiteful Momo, but then again it’s not like she could hit him from the other side of the computer screen, so perhaps she was just as bad— or worse, heaven forbid.
