So excited for my 2021 Magic of I planner ā¤ļø
I love the witch bears from Joe Phillips
Happy Samhain!
One of my favourite witchy voices just launched a 6 month shadowwork course ā¤ļø I canāt wait to get further in my practice and work on being more authentically me.
Also, for anyone else interested - the course starts 11/04
The WOOschool
Tarot decks are dangerous
Not because of any like scary occult stuff people think can happen when you use them
itās because thereās so many decks, and theyāre very interesting and I want to just spend all my money on them apparently and look like scrooge mcduck but with tarot decks

Could anyone please connect me to any spells about moving out into a new place, cleansings, etc. for when you are in your new home
š”āؚ暦š”āؚ暦š”āؚ暦
For all things home related, my first stop is always The House Witch, unless Iām doing something intuitively. The super simple salting of doors/windows and also doing a smoke (or spray) cleanse are common for me.
Iād suggest also communicating with the spirit of your home and seeing what areas might need more work.
Why pushing womb-centric ideologies is gross
-it objectifies and commodifies women
āwomen are valuable because they can create life!ā Not only are there many women who canāt or donāt want to have children, there are so many wonderful things about women and its wrong to deem some people valuable and others not.
-it pushes many people away from magic
women who are infertile, women who donāt want kids, women who could have kids but it is too dangerous for them, transwomen, people who identify as male, women who can no longer have kids, people who are intersex, the list goes on..
itās pretty hetero and cis-normative and pushes other people in marginalized groups away. As well as it is gate-keepy
-itās ageist and places a priority on younger women
It places virgins on a pedestal and really pushes the idea that women have aĀ āprimeā and are more valuable at certain points of their lives. This is a narrative we continuously see everyday, and it doesnāt need to be pushed into the witchcraft community.
-it pushes misogyny for the aforementioned reasonsĀ
if you think about it, placing more value on women who are virgins or pregnant furthers not only the idea that women are meant to be obedient baby-makers but that women arenāt powerful on their own. You are not more or less valuable after losing your virginity. You are not more or less valuable if you have a baby.
-the obvious transphobia and exclusion
Iām not here to have an argument, I wanted to get my opinions out
If you personally feel like pregnancy and childbirth was magical for you, congratulations! Iām very happy you had a fulfilling experience of it and had the opportunity to do so. Just because others havenāt had this experience doesnāt make them less magical, they have likely had magical experiences you have not. If you think your power comes from your womb, thatās your choice, but donāt push the idea that that is the only place power can come from.
Transwomen are valid witches
Nonbinary people are valid witchesĀ Ā
Men are valid witches
Everyone has power and anyone can have magic
If you donāt agree (or that makes you uncomfortable), try taking a look at: why, who told you that, and what their motivations are to spread that information.Ā
I used to be uncomfortable with the idea that anyone could claim their magic, that it was just out there, for anyone. That was until I realized noone will practice exactly as I do, have my exact mix of knowledge from cross referencing books and combining ideas, noone will be able to make what I make, not because I have a womb or any other thing outside my control, but because it is made by me.
A loving reminder...
I saw a tiktok tonight that said āif youāre not crying, youāre not doing it rightā like exCUSE ME! No. Thatās not remotely true.
YOU DONT HAVE TO CRY TO DO SHADOW WORK.
Every single witch does their shadow work differently and crying is NOT a requirement of shadow work.
If someone is trying to tell you it is, they arenāt correct. If youāre not an emotional person, you arenāt in a safe environment to cry, you can still do some gentle shadow work. CRYING IS NOT A REQUIREMENT.
This false information really pisses me off.
True story! I said this myself recently, and a witch voice I hold dear corrected me. Shadow work should feel like a relief since now you *know* why you react a certain way and can make changes

Witch Tips #28
You do not need a coven, witchy friends, or a mentor to be a witch. While these things can be great experiences, they are not necessities. Do not worry if you are a solitary witch. You can still refine your craft and become a powerful witch.Ā
